Titus Velleran is a non-Force sensitive human male hailing from the Deep Core world of Epoch, one-time board executive of the Epoch Engineering Corporation turned freedom fighter who strives to free his world of the shadowy Sith Loyalists within the ruling elite and eradicate the growing influence of the Church of the Dark Side. As a leading member of the Epochian Rebellion formed in it's infancy, Titus was proven to be instrumental in rallying supporters to the cause in the midst of aggressive propaganda and secret police rounding up dissidents. He has become a key member of the Epochian Resistance and a cell leader within it's ranks.
In the years before the rise of the One Sith, Titus Velleran was like the majority of Epoch's male populace found himself enrolled into the military at a young age, being educated in the military academy of Odessa in his youth. When Civil War broke out, he saw the horrors of war firsthand as everyone he knew took up arms against each other fighting for either the Crown or the Oligarchs that supported the coming One Sith. The war was quick, brutal, and efficient, ending with the arrival of the One Sith and the installment of the Oligarchs as the governing powers of Epoch under the One Sith's reign. Titus found himself joining an underground movement to free Epoch, rallying allies where he could to help bring an end to the tyranny of the Sith over their homeworld. He met DARKCOM and Cyril Grayson, father of Cedric Grayson , rallying support from the Ession Reformation who supplied the resistance movement with arms and supplies until the Army of Light could reach them.
The guerilla fighitng continued for years, desperation and struggle led to dwindling hope and massive losses as the walls seemingly closed in. It was by stroke of luck that a new hope came from nearly out of nowhere in the form of the Galactic Alliance, the successor to the Galactic Republic which helped liberate the world from the grip of the One Sith. For the first time in a long time, hope was no longer in short supply. The resistance gained momentum, they celebrated the Galactic Alliance and their Jedi liberators as heroes but realized all to quickly that the fight was not yet over. Despite their benefactors being driven out, the Sith sympathizing Oligarchs still held power through their deep pockets and broad influence. The Civil War continued, abeit now in the shadows between the Resistance and the Oligarchs. It would be another several years before the Oligarchy was ousted and the Monarchy was restored, abeit with now civilian oversight and legislation as a Constitutional Monarchy. The Epochian Assembly became the supreme authority over Epoch and the reigning King became a merely ceremonial role as the people finally held power to direct their lives.
Setting down the sword, TItus became a successful defense contractor and used his extensive contacts to make a name for himself in the Core Worlds. He became involved with Epoch Engineering Corporation and it's various affiliates, rising up the ladder to the board of directors under Lyzeara Fluree. Titus sought to use Epoch Engineering's vast growing influence over Epochian politics to better worlds less fortunate. With the re-induction of Epoch into the new Galactic Alliance that rose in place of the old, Titus felt he found his platform and strove to enter the world of politics, leaving the board of directors to become Epoch's first Senator in the new Galactic Senate.
Titus served admirably within the senate and represented his people with due diligence, he would hold his position until uncovering the resurfacing remnants of the Oligarchy and it's various ruling elite. He uncovered evidence of a new organization rallying them together, a new figure directing actions within the Epochian Assembly through proxies and mysterious influence. He began investigating this as well as the reports of rising Sith cults in the outskirts of Odessa, that is until the surprise return of the long absent hero DARKCOM from the clutches of the newly surfaced threat known as the Brotherhood of the Maw. Within a week, his family was purged by rogue Epochian elements, his name was thrown in the muck with the sudden emergence of several scandals completely fabricated by the ruling elite, and he was sentenced to imprisonment for crimes he never committed. It was clear he was being silenced, he had been on the precipice of something big in his investigations.
DARKCOM became Senator of Epoch, replacing Titus in his role with unanimous support from the people and the Epochian Assembly.
Titus was left to rot in a cell he didn't deserve.
That is until the Resistance came, elements from the original resistance alongside a new generation of freedom fighters who had seen firsthand the secret movements of the elite. They were without support, without supplies, and without public approval. They were labeled terrorists and political extremists, their message of the truth being barred from public outreach by fierce propaganda and harsh suppression from the government itself.
Titus was freed from his prison and joined the resistance where he fought alongside his brothers once more to free the soul of his homeworld, this time for good.
