- Rapid Deployment: Designed to be a vehicle able to be quickly deployed anywhere, the TMP-2 does not require a dedicated transport craft to deploy it, instead able to fit inside the troop compartment of most moderately sized dropships. Matched with its high speed, and large fuel tank, its able to go almost anywhere for extensive periods of time.
- Packs a punch: Despite its small size, the compact heavy laser cannon packs a punch, allowing the TMP to engage larger vehicles (as long as it gets the first shot off). The coaxial light repeater allows the gunner to also engage infantry and unarmoured targets, where the slow firing heavy hitting main cannon is not needed.
- Lightly Armoured: Despite being classified as an armoured vehicle, compared to others it is relatively lightly armoured. Able to withstand blaster fire and light calibers from machine guns, any anti-tank weapon will find an easy kill with the TMP. For this reason most infantry hate riding inside, often seeing the vehicle as little more than an armed funeral casket.
- Cramped: The troop compartment inside the TMP 1 is extremely cramped, often only able to accommodate a few infantrymen without any heavy equipment. For this reason, most troops opt instead to ride on the top of the vehicle, instead using the troop compartment to store their equipment.
The Tracked Multi-Purpose 1 or better known as the TMP-1, is a small and compact armoured vehicle created by Okins Industries. Designed almost exclusively around being highly mobile, its light weight, tracked propulsion and high fuel capacity it is able to traverse most terrain easily and deployable from most medium sized dropships. The vehicle however suffers when it comes to its armour or lack there-of. Able to withstand little more than blaster fire and light caliber machine gun fire, most heavy weapons will have little trouble turning this vehicle into a smoldering wreck causing most passengers to instead choose to ride on top of it, rather than its cramped passenger compartment. The compact heavy laser cannon it comes equipped with does help mitigate the lack of armour, able to deal with most medium armoured vehicles with ease as well as taking out fortified positions albeit its slow rate of fire means the gunner often has to rely on the coaxial repeater for fast moving targets. Its through this the intended shoot-and-scoot tactics the designer had in mind is realized with the hope that the small size and quick speed help it from getting destroyed. For longer range missions, the TMP may be outfitted with an armored carriage which can be used to carry supplies or additional soldiers at the expense of speed and maneuverability.
