Hello Chaos.

On a first come, first served basis, I am looking for someone to modify one of these babies into a personal star ship for me to use. I want to keep all of it's functions, as well as it's technology and design, but I want it to be able for a astromech droid to be able to fit inside, which may involve increasing the fighters size, which would decrease it's speed and agility.

If anyone is looking for a contract or misc thread for their star ship corporation, which would go towards your corporation increasing in tier, then I am the woman for you. Or man. Confusing.

How are we defining personal starship here? Its a fighter. Why not install astromech brain to the ship, upgrading the intelligence, the internal jump numbers and the ability to modify its systems while taking damage?

With the increase in size, are you looking to make it more roomy, as a personal vessel, in my opinion, would be a shuttle/yacht class, where you can like... set the hyperdrive and take a nap? Just curious.

I like spaceships.

I'm not looking to procure a corvette or frigate. I'd like it to remain a starfighter, as I have a strange fascination with a Jedi Knight having their own specialized type of fighter, much like Luke Skywalker had his X-Wing. Part of the dream was having my own R2-D2 flying around with me.

The Jedi-class Stealth Starfighter submission states that there wasn't enough room for an astromech, yet I want there to be enough space for the astromech to be incorporated into the design, whilst the fighter retains it's base model weaponry and technology. I can only assume that the fighter would have to be increased in size, so that a astromech could be fit in; and because of the increase of size, it's weight would go up and so it would lose some of it's speed and maneuverability.

Because of the changes, it would become more personalized (named etc) and so I'd be submitting a new submission once a stealth fighter had been modified IC by you.

So tl;dr

So you want the exact same starship (as in the submission you've linked) but with an astromech added?

Yeah. As the submission states, the design doesn't incorporate a astromech droid. So the fighter would need to be altered.

For this I feel we caa probably do a dev thread? Coren's been known to tinker and fabricate ships. So if you've got one of the fighters, we can do the dev thread for it,

And with the qualification of Luke having his X-Wing, i know where you're going. I tend to write in the Han Solo/Dash Rendar style for my ships. Coren works for Silk Holdings as well as his own (not submitted) little ship fabricating place.

I'll start the thread after this post. Just give me 20 minutes or so to write it. I'll fly to you with the unmodified starfighter and from there, we can modify it to accommodate an astromech.
