To Catch A Jedi

Nar Shaddaa

Rael sprang into action, hands finding their targets. The Jedi Knight had been wandering the planet, trying to find crimes to stop. A role he'd let himself fall into, as of late. Rather than training with other Knights, or dealing with petty politics. No, his place was here, in a dingy bar on a dingy planet, breaking up a bar fight. He held a Cathar's arm in one hand, a Corellian's in the other. The two stopped as soon as they felt the strong grip, and sharp claws digging into their forearms. The Cathar winced, and glanced over at Rael. All he could think about was that he shouldn't have stolen from a Corellian.

"I'd say things are settled, wouldn't you?" His yellow eyes looked back between the two, a small smile on Rael's lips. He twitched his mandibles a bit, in an attempt to add a little more fear to the situation. The Cathar nodded, and yanked his arm away, rubbing the spot where Rael had grabbed him. "Yeah, whatever." The Corellian said, yanking his arm away as well.

"Kark you, I won't do what you tell me."
Objective: Respect
Location: Nar Shaddaa

Lurcano entered the bar, his eyes wearily scanning the perimeter. He was dressed in his standard Red Raven Shot Caller armor, and his hands did not stray far from the two blasters that were strapped to his waist. He had been notified of the presence of someone that he had a marginal interest in. One of the benefits of being apart of the largest Crime Syndicate in the galaxy was the information that was fed to you on a regular basis. He frequented the many bars that dotted Nar Shaddaa and he had been close by when the call had come in.

His target was one Rael sun B'an. He was Jedi Knight who enjoyed making a nuisance of himself. He had made one grievous error to many however; and it was Lurcanos job to teach him to respect his betters. His lips curled as his eyes fell upon what could only be a Jedi, the unmistakeable robes they wore made him stand out. He was breaking up what seemed to have been an altercation judging by the looks of loathing the Corellian and the Cathar were giving him. He approached the Jedi Knight, parting his way through the crowd.

All the while, his heart beat increased as adrenaline ran wild through his system. He had never fought a force user in full combat gear with an intent to kill before. No matter how much he tried to calm his heart, he knew that it was futile. All the while, his thoughts flashed to his head. 'Filthy sub-human creature. It's disgusting to look upon. No wonder such things wear masks. If anything; I'm doing the galaxy a favor. The less of these disgusting animals there are, the better it shall be for everyone.' Finally Lurcano made his way towards the Jedi who had reseated himself as the conflict had resolved itself. He looked down at the Jedi Knight, still out of reach. He cleared his throat before speaking,

Lurcano Car'dann: "Are you the Jedi Knight that goes by the name of Rael sul B'an?"

Rael sighed, moving back over to his seat. As he moved over, he noticed his adrenaline wasn't dying down. He looked around the room, both with his eyes and mind. His sight was drawn to a lone Nagai, stalking his way through the bar. Rael didn't have to check to make sure his lightsabers were with him. His shifted slightly, the durasteel armor under his cloak scratching on the front of his seat. He reached behind him, grabbing his drink. He took a quick sip, and watched as the Nagai came over to him.

So it knew his name. "Sure, why not. You need something?"

Rael sul B'an: "Sure, why not. You need something?"

Lurcano simply stared at the Jedi, his lip curling upwards as a sign of disgust. He kept his voice steady before speaking once more.

Lurcano Car'dann: "How about we step outside? No need to drag innocent people into a conflict they have no part in."

Lurcano watched the Khaleesh Jedi Knight as he spoke, his fingers twitching. He was ready to burst into action at any moment if the Jedi tried something. He did not think it was very likely the Jedi Knight would choose to fight in such a crowded bar and risk the lives of innocents; but one must always be ready for what wasn't expected. He was prepared to pull out his guns and start firing; and despite the fact that he wanted to avoid unneeded casualties, he wouldn't let anyone stand in his way.
