Near the Space Port

The fighting had been fierce as the Sith and the Mandalorians fought the second battle of Junction. The Sith Knight Daxton Bane, had placed his two apprentices, Morna and Zalen Zennoch Ziad, in charge of setting up their forward observation and command post.

A powerful computer staffed by a group of Sith technicians monitored the battle situation and updated the fleet on the progress of the conflict, allowing the Sith to coordinate and drop war material more efficiently to their forces. Although this was just one of several dozen command posts, it was the closest to the front, making it a tempting target for Mandolorian forces to break through the defenses and perhaps capture the data that was on the computer.

Sith Infantry patrolled the perimeter as they waited for reinforcements to arrive, which several squads were chopping down trees to clear a wide field of fire and deny their attackers any cover.

Overhead Tie Interceptors and Bombers swooped down low, leaving supersonic booms in their wake as they proceeded to the hot spots on the battlefield. Meanwhile a group of Mandalorians led by Kal A'den-Shuk'la and the Jedi Wrale Elerel were closing in on the position through the tree line. A new confrontation was about to erupt which could potentially change the tides of battle in this war.....

 

[Garza]

Morna was incharge of making sure the guards were in their postions and ready if anything were to go wrong. Morna saw one of the guards sleeping. He smiled as he ingnited his hand and fired a very small burst of fire inder the man's ass. He jumpped up to a screeming fit. he saw Morna laughing at him and his eyes widened. He was caught slacking off. Morna grabbed the mans arm and led him away.

He brought him to a room and he place him in solutary confinment untill his shift was over. he sent another guard to take his place. Morna was in the cell with the man. Doors locked. Morna looked at the man and asked "What happens if some one were to sneek in here and capture the intel that is stored here?" the man was wimpering. "I would get in deep trouble?" Morna nodded his head "Yes thats true. BUT the Mandos would find out about our plans. Stay awake Or I will nit just set a fire under your ass again.......... Ill set you completely on fire." Morna said the last part with fire in his eyes and a very angy voice.

He left the guard in the cell and went back to where Zalen was doing what ever with his "Expierments".

 

[Akaan'ade Be'Solus]

Leaping from the gunship that had brought him to this world, Kal hit the ground in a crunch of branches and leaves, a squad of Mandalorians close by. for support. Darting through the foliage, he rapidly approached the command post, patrols of Sith circling the command post and felling the trees, surely to remove any cover for him and his men. Taking cover behind a tree, he set his GSI pistol to stun and ordered his men to do the same for their blasters, ensuring there wasn't too much noise among the Sith. Slamming back the slide and pulling back the hammer, he breathed in, bracing himself for the challenges ahead. Crouched, Kal briskly sprinted through the rapidly disappearing tree-line, ensuring he remained out of the patrol's lines of sight, allowing him and his squad to remain undetected.

 

[Zalen Zennoch Ziad]

Zalen was in the back of the bunker putting together a new lightsaber to replace one that had been completely destroyed in his battle with Darth Moridin. While he was without his usual lightsaber, he had a Dual-Phase Lightsaber Pike and his Shoto. He could use them together in tandem, but it still wasn't the same. He was half way done with it's construction when he was confronted by Morna. Zalen's kath hounds began to go berserk until Zalen snapped his fingers causing them to go into submission. "May I help you my friend? I am rather busy in preperation for the upcoming battle. Perhaps if you need back up, I can have my kath hounds listen to you as if you were their new master."

 

[Garza]

Morna went past the Kath hounds that were in a rage. Morna liked the Idea of having "pets" to attack the other foes he had. Morna nodded his head. "Sounds intresting. What can they do other than bite them?" Morna walked up to Zalen and saw he was creating a lighsaber of some kind. He looked at the pieces that were on the table. He left them alone because he didnt want to piss him off.

 

[Zalen Zennoch Ziad]

Zalen responded, "Well, as you said they can bite and use their claws for offense, but they can also alert their owners with their enhanced senses when they smell someone coming. Another thing they can do is sacrifice themselves in protection of their masters when they are truely needed. If you are unarmed, it is always nice to have a kath hound jumping in front of you to spare you from a blaster bolt. Quite advantagous all around if you ask me. Besides there are a good dozen of them here so the numbers alone give you an advantage."

 

[Garza]

"True very true. They are useful im nore ways then I thought." Morna replied "Although I am never with out a weapon." Just o show him he lit his hand on fire. He only did it just for a second and then shut the flame off. "Why are you making a lighsaber when yuo alreayd have a lighsaber lance and Shoto?" Morna had his own lighsaber that was Yellow in color. It was good for him since he had it from the fight he had with Anaya.

 

[Zalen Zennoch Ziad]

Zalen clenched his teeth in anger, not of Morna, but of his only defeat. "My real weapon was crushed into pieces by our Emperor. Now I must make a new one or learn how to dual-wield using a Saber-Pike and a Shoto." Zalen thought about the potentially effective combination. The Pike-Shoto combo could work considering it would cover both the need for short range and long range lightsaber melee combat. Zalen lifted the lightsaber parts using the force and crushed them. He walked out of the back with his kath hounds close behind him.

 

[Garza]

Morna saw the red crystal fall to the ground when he crushed the lighsaber. Zalen left the room in a rage. Morna picked up the broken items with the force and place them on the table. Ht took apart his own lighsaber and replaced the tellow crystal with the Red one. He now had a Siths saber with a Sith sword. He was happy. Morna walked out to begin his rounds again.

 

[Wrale Elerel]

Wrale followed Kal and the group of Mandalorians from a few feet behind. He figured he'd follow them and wait for any signal from Kal. As Kal and the others pulled out their weapons, Wrale slipped his two lightsabers into his hands, preparing himself. He crouched behind a tree, waiting.

Raising a hand and then clenching it in a fist, the squad of Mandalorians stepped together to form a line behind their leader. Turning round just to check the Jedi was behind him, and to make sure that he wouldn't get abandoned among the trees, the squad and its leader hurried further round the side of the building, keeping by the trees for cover. Raising his hand again in a "halt" gesture, he turned to speak to the Jedi through the comms to ensure minimal noise. "You skilled in 'saber combat?"

 

[Wrale Elerel]

Wrale responded to Kal through the comms, "Of course." He looked over to the Mandalorian, slipping one of his lightsabers into his hand. He nodded, ready for whatever command he offered. "Ready when you are." He kept himself positioned behind a tree, away from the Mandalorians.
