Eira was curious to what she would experience this evening, she was adjusting her dress to fit her frame better as she studied herself in the mirror in her bedroom. It had been awhile since she had been on an actual date, she usually avoided them since they weren't her speed but this was meant to televised and Eira was curious to see what she would experience. Also, it was a chance to gain connections and informants if she deemed them useful but not suited to her desires. Her headwear was decorated with ornate chains and jewellery. Trinkets she had gained as a dancer over the years, she enjoyed them and did not fully their worth but she figured it would do her good to try her best for the night. She had pushed to go to a night club, she didn't care the city world she would have to travel to but she wanted to go to a night club and enjoy the atmosphere. It had been hard to find one that fitted her mood without being super sleazy, so much so that she was thinking of making her own nightclub business. Nothing major but she figured it would be fun to own a nightclub. A side benefit would be that she could do some underhanded activities through the business but more trading information and seducing officials than slavery rings and worse crimes in the clubs she had been to as a slave.

Checking her piercings, her shoulder tattoos were on display and ensured that her Lekku fell naturally down the front of her. Breathing in deeply, she was concern and nervous about the date, it was blind so she had no idea who she was meeting or what they would be like. The thought terrified her, she liked to have some information but she knew nothing, they had mentioned a name but right now it was slipping her mind. Didn't she write it down somewhere? Searching her bedside dresser, she found a crumpled note with a name on it. Lao, was that male or female? She wasn't sure, she hadn't met anyone called Lao before... Eira sighed and shrugged, she guessed she would have to find out when at the club. She adorned the final touches to her look, finishing the makeup and painting her manicured nails. Leaving her apartment, she smiled to the man at the reception, stepping out as she slowly walked to location. It was such a nice evening as Eira admired the surroundings, she hadn't had a chance to enjoy such a pleasant evening in a long time. The adjustments of being freed, figuring out a job and then convincing people to let her stay at their apartments rent free had been difficult and stressful.

Standing outside the club, she could here the thudding of music, it was music one could dance to and that excited her. She was so glad that she could get a chance to dance, talking was nice but when you were on a date, dancing was much better than talking. At least that was Eira's mindset, talking was for when she was on the job, dancing was where she had fun and let herself relax. Everyone else seemed to enjoy her dancing as well and had a good time when they danced with her. Eira decided to wait outside, she wasn't sure what to look for in terms of the date but at least out here, she was less tempted to start dancing and end up completely missing the date to the beat. Something Eira had to remind herself not to do tonight, have fun but also be aware that there is someone with her, people tended to flirt with her as she danced, she could never figure out what possessed them when she danced but everyone wanted to be in her presence. Hopefully that wouldn't happen tonight.

The music was blaring from one of the club's outdoor areas several stories up. It was like a homecoming...But Lao Pak hated home. Why did it have to be here? Ozai of all places. They couldn't have picked a nice place like Zeltros or Ryloth where if the date went poorly, or more likely that she wasn't rich enough to even bother, he could at least spend the night getting high and drunk. But here? Too many people knew him here. He didn't make it hard to pick him out. As usual, he was wearing an audacious outfit. The last few gigs had really scored him a boatload of credits. Millions. He had a sweet penthouse too. And all he had to do was go on a date, or rather, ruin one.

So it had made sense that his next escapade would involve romance. Romance paid so well these days after all! If anything at least Holly Starstorm and her reality show would pay him...Right?

Lao Pak stepped towards the beautiful Twi'lek. He was barely taller than her but it was good enough. He was wearing a metallic silver puffer coat that went down to his knees with what seemed like electrum on the inside. Reversible and versatile. Heavy black shades that covered most of his round face hid his eyes.

"Sir. This specimen is quite attractive. Maybe for once you can-"

"Shhh! Lao Pak no want relationship advice from a droid who still virgin," he said curtly. L9 Recoiled physically as if taking offense to the vulgar comment.

"Sir, I don't think droids are capable of-"

"ShhhSHHhSHHHHHH! This is what Lak Pak is saying! No good advice. Just," he waved his hand, "Stand near me and make me look important. Maybe she have Holocron stuff between her-" He locked eyes with one of the bouncers and swallowed hard. The Atrisian bouncer shot him a snarl but before he could get to Lao Pak L9 stepped between them, blocking the bouncer and clearing the way for Lao Pak to meet his date. He ran a vibro comb through his hair one last time before walking up to the Twi'lek.

"So," he said, looking her up and down, "You Lao Pak's date tonight. What's your name?" He didn't wait for her but started walking towards the club entrance, expecting her to follow. The droid had fallen in step behind the pair. "Don't worry about the droid. He just protection. Lao Pak very important man these days. Need good protection. Nothing betta than a Corellian Hunger Killer!"

As Eira waited, she noticed someone approach her with a droid in tow. She tilted her head curious at the pair, she wasn't sure what to make of them but then the man spoke, and used his name in the third person... Was it something that humans did? While she had been owned by a human as a child and taught a different way to speak, they could have been the outliner for all she knew, most people she had interacted with since then didn't speak basic as their primary language. A little stunned by the approach, Eira didn't say anything at first, still trying to assess the situation but she then smiled, "Eira. Eira Dwynwen. Nice to meet...." Before she could finish her sentence, he was turning his back to her and heading into the club.

This was definitely not the direction that she thought it would be going towards. Eira, waited a bit and waved to the bouncer that seemed to have issues with Lao and his droid before entering the club. It was beautiful inside, just the way she thought it would look and it was alive with people. Eira was so happy, already swaying to the beat as she listened to the electronic music. A drink would be nice, she looked around for where the bar would be, faintly listening in on what Lao was saying, her heart racing with excitement to dance and enjoy herself, surrender to the pleasures of the dancefloor. However, when Lao mentioned he was very important these days, Eira snapped out of her euphoria and looked over to him.

Perhaps this man could be very useful to her then. The droid was interesting and it would make it difficult since she doubted her charms and skills could work on a droid but she might get something from this man. "Very important? How exciting! What is it that you do?" Eira inquired, moving slowly with her approach and offering a warm smile.

Lao Pak sniffed a self-important sniff and shrugged his shoulders.

"Lao Pak is one of the biggest smugglers and fences in the core right now. Always have good job and good credits coming in."

"Though he still refuses to get me the upgrades I've requested on several occasions," interjected the tall, menacing droid. Lao Pak hissed and waved a hand at the droid before scooting up to the Twi'lek.

"What you drinking beauty?" He snapped at the droid. "Get whatever she wants. You already know what I want." The droid nodded its head and turned its photoreceptors on the Twi'lek.

"Your drink order miss?"

Eira smiled warmly, fingers twirled around her Lekku as she listened to the smuggler brag, she hadn't heard of him though she didn't pay much attention to the core, it was filled with people thinking they had noble intentions and were good people. She could scoff at the Galactic Alliance and other factions of Jedi and 'good people'. Eira shifted in closer, leaning in closer to Lao to whisper in his ear as smiled warmly. "So, who does this big shot smuggler work for then?" Fingers tracing up and down his front as Eira attempted her seduction.

Getting information, however this smuggler was linked to, that would be key for Eira. If she couldn't get much from him then she would likely drop him, currently most of her contacts and relationships were tied to her job, there was little to no room for romantic or platonic relationships. Looking over to the droid when they asked for her drink order, "some shots! We should do shots, lots of them!" Leaning in close and whispering in Lao's ear, "maybe some body shots too?" Eira teased.

While her focus was making sure this guy let slip everything he knew, she wanted to have some fun as well and enjoy herself at the club.
