To Hide In Plain Sight

It had been a few days since Asheda came to Vaders castle, and as such was getting used to the her new life, though some things played on her mind. What would she do now in the First Order, Rens were not allowed to have attachments, and even if they were allowed the other apprentices would probably not take kindly to her.

She though about maybe becoming a diplomat of sorts, helping stop the raging wars between the First Order and the Galactic Alliance, but still wanted to learn about the force and increase her skill with a blade. "ohhhh this is just to confusing", if both paths would involve giving up some sort of goal she wanted to pursue, perhaps talking to Kyrel might clear things up.

She decided to hop out of bed and look for the Master of Ren, his activities lately had been a bit lacking, and as such had been stuck at the castle for some time. This would be a good opportunity to ask him about certain skills that may allow her to become a powerful force user while appearing to be a normal Toguta.

Kyrel was getting used to having Asheda around, the past few days having her around were eventful at least, as she mostly had no desire to leave and shared his chambers. He mostly catered to her every whim when he could, and gave her access to most areas of the Castle, but he knew that if she were to have a different life especially with him, she would have to change things for herself and live a different life completely.

He started to think of what he would do with her, other than what he would like to do but he had to think long term wise, and so he came with the idea of training her, but the more he thought about it. The things were between them with her being a Ren it would complicate things, and make matters very bad, to say the least.

He stood in the assembly room thinking these thoughts when he saw Asheda approach. He looked at her and gave a nod to her saying to her in a gentle tone. "Greetings Asheda."

She slowly came into the assembly room were Kyrel was currently stationed in, despite being intimidating at first, the young Togurta and the Master of Ren had warmed up to each other fairly well. "Hello Kyrel, how are you today", she waited for his response while proceeding to sit down, "I was wondering something, though I can't be a Ren for obvious reason, I still want to train my powers and put them to use, tell me is the Frist Order in need of more, likeable negotiators, and perhaps one that just so happened to be able to defend them self.

Asheda had always been good at persuasion, even without the need of the force, and she had confidence that a political role in the First Order could help prevent any future wars. In time she could also possibly change things in a better light for the future, as well as getting people to see that the First Order was not like the Sith Empire. In war honesty always seemed to be the first thing to go, with each side demonizing the other

Kyrel stood there his hands in his dark robes silently meditating on his thoughts, he looked out the window seeing the plumes of magma and ash leaving the surrounding volcanoes trapping the light. In a way, he saw it like how the dark side worked, a very beautiful design of art that he had always appreciated, and then when he saw Asheda approach he could admit she was a beautiful girl and so answered as she sat down. "I am fine how are you?"

She then went on about wanting to work with the First Order, something he was surprised at hearing as when he had heard her wanting to give up the Jedi, he thought that she only said it in a spur of the moment, but then she asked if there was any governors or negotiators within the First Order or if they were in any need of any. He responded in a gentle tone. "Well my dear I am surprised to hear you say that but yes I think we can do that. We are always in need of more diplomats and I am sure you will work wonders." He looked to her and then heard her speak about training to which he got up and responded. "Well, then I can show you the basics of what will help you, dear."

She mulled over what things she could learn, but the most prominent one would be the ability to mask ones force signature, having a diplomat that was force sensitive may rub the Alliance the wrong way, and they could use that as an excuse that she was using her powers to sway negotiations and have a reason to continuity fighting and what not. "I have looked though some of the histry of the wars between the Alliance and the First Order, in every case they seem to be the ones causing the fighting, and you are just retaliating". "Though I do know most darksiders are not the nicest, labeling them all that way, and trying to spark conflicts with terrorism and other means is not right".

"If I learned how to mask my force signature, became better in form 3 of saber combat, and then went on into the political game, Id be able to stop these senseless wars, and show the galaxy that not all conflict are just black and white with one good side and one bad side". "Though I may not be a Jedi any I still desire peace, sooooo, will you help me" She gave him a bashful look, knowing the man could not resist her charms.

He was surprised by what she had wanted to do, he didn't think she would think about doing such things, that it made him proud in some ways, he would see to it that she trained well and of course see to it that she got on this path, and as she spoke he couldn't help but smile or think of how the future would be for him. He nodded to her words and then waited before speaking, he was lost as to what life would be like as a diplomat, he knew that she would be gone at times from the Castle on business and even may not see him for days or weeks at a time. He even wondered if she would be okay with that.

He decided to speak in the same tone he had been using, her smile basically winning him over as he couldn't honestly resist her looks. "Well with a look like that, I think that we can do it and then work on introducing you to such places." He said as he got up and walked over to her waiting to see if they would begin training.

She had a feeling he was impressed with her knowledge, what did he think she did in her spare time?, "Great", she stood up from her seat and proceeded to follow Kyrel out the door, most likely heading for the training grounds of the castle. "How much training would it take to become proficient in such a skill, even if it takes a while I'm determined to become good at it", Asheda was a relatively quick learner, back when still a Jedi she had gotten the hang of environment manipulation, things that environment freezing water, making fire, though not in any huge regards. The two continued to walk and talk, coming to the turbo left that would take them to the training level, she was eager to get started, though was a bit unfamiliar with how Rens were taught, but perhaps she would get special treatment.

As he walked leading her down the dark obsidian halls, he sensed her eagerness to learn and so he would gladly teach her whatever she liked to learn but for now she needed to learn how to hide her Force Signature from others, it was a basic and easy skill and when it came to learning how to improve Form III it didn't take long to Master either although one would have to devote much training and time into the skill as he walked down to the turbolift he answered her. "Learning how to hide your Signature is an easy task to some, and hard for others. It requires concentration to learn it at first, as for Form III it is easy to learn Defense but one must practice lest their saber skills grow dull." He said as he finally reached the turbolift continuing the conversation.

When the turbolift stopped, they walked down the dark corridor, he said nothing till walking towards the room that was the training room, the room was barely lit, with the dark side being felt through its very walls as the training droids were on racks deactivated. He looked to her and stood a few inches away from her. He spoke in a serious tone. "Well then let's start with the Force Signature. Naturally your Force Signature is left out in the open everyone with the Force can sense you in one form or the other, but you can hide it making it seem as if you don't even wield it. First I want to think in your mind that you are invisible this should help with hiding your Force Signature, but I want you to concentrate." He said as he waited for her to begin.

She was relived that learning the basics of hiding ones force signature was easy, with not a whole lot to do around the castle she could concentrate on refining said skills. It was also good to know how easy form 3 was, if able to eventually master such a form she would be able to hold pace with almost any opponent. The trip down the the training level, was quick, though maybe not quick enough, the dark-side was much stronger on this level, similar to the prison level were she was kept on the first day of arriving, it etched at the Togurta's mind, but she held fast.

Upon entering the training she stood face to face with Kyrel as he explain the felling force behind such a skill, it seemed simple enough, though putting it into practice may be easier said then done. She took a wide, taking in a heavy breath, concentrating like when she practiced other force moves, 'invisible, be invisible', she relaxed her body and focused on her center, 'no one can see you, you are a shadow'. Asheda continued to repeat these words, was it working?

He stood there waiting to see what happened, he learned from first-hand experience even from not having a Master how easy it was for him to hide his Force Signature. It was very easy for him to learn it fairly quickly, and so all he had to do was picture in his mind himself being Invisible and that helped when wandering out in the open. He had hoped it would work with Asheda and so he looked to her pacing patiently as she worked on concentrating.

When she was finally able to concentrate, he reached out with the Force. With it, he could feel almost everything, but when he tried to feel her, he could sense nothing, light or dark, not even a trace. It was absolutely nothing and so he smiled at her. He was very pleased with her progress as with hiding her signature she would play as if she was a simple Non-Force User. He smiled and said to her as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Good I can't feel you at all. Keep practicing and you shall get the hang of it in no time.

Upon Kyrels words she relaxed, breathing normally with victorious smile on her face "Well that's a surprise, but a good one, still that took quite a bit of concentration, I'll need to practice more until I can walk around and act like normal, at lest I know that feeling". "So now I know how that works, what about sabre training, I think such skills would be very useful in my future endeavors". She un-cliped her light saber, the same one given to her before joining the Jedi, it bore no real sentimental value, more of just a gift to one day use. Besides a nightclub undercover operation, and the short duel with Kyrel the blade had not seen any combat. "What will my training include, deflecting blaster bolts, or will we be using those droids up their"?

[member="Kyrel Ren"]

He looked at her impressed by her work so far in hiding her signature. He had wondered how he would teach her, but then after several moments of thinking, he had thought of using the Sith Training Droids. He walked over to turn on two of them from the rack they were hanging from as he said. "Well, I think the training droids will help you learn better than the remotes will." He said as he walked over turning on the droids as they took the form of two Jedi, of course he activated the stun setting of course not to harm her. He said as they circled around her with their blades. "With Form III you need to let them wear their strength out first and then find the right moment to attack, but focus on nothing more than defending and evading until you have the right opportunity."

He said as they moved in, one seemed to stalk her like prey while the other moved in slowly attacking her with large heavy power strikes, while the other seemed to move from behind going for an upwards slash to her head, all the while Kyrel moved back watching to see what Asheda would do.

She gave a quick nod to Kyrel as went over to activating the droids, "Righty oh lets get to it then", she activated her light-saber, the green blade being a start contrast to the otherwise black room. "Though that makes scene droids don't usually get tired, but making mistakes and repeating exploitable patterns, that's something I can work with".

Asheda took a defensive stance to the approaching droids, she brought her blade in at a down wards angle as the first droid attacked, its hit glancing off the saber and away from her body. With each strike Asheda would quickly glanced to the other droids making sure to keep track of it's movements. It did not take to long for her to see a pattern in the droids attacks, when a downward swing came pushed her blade up, deflecting it once again but continuing its momentum, hitting the droid in the head.

Quickly she turned her attention to the other droid preparing for its attack, most likely it would change up its routine to be faster or suing different attack methods.

When she hit the droid on the head, the droid deactivated with the hit, but the fight was far from over as the other droid moved in. It attacked relentlessly, it's strikes that of Form IV with what it was doing, it was using quick attacks to catch her off guard from her defense as Kyrel watched not wanting to break her concentration, but he watched impressed with her work so far then the duel they had fought, when they had fought each other he was able to disarm her in a few strikes, but for now she was able to hold her own.

It was hard to say how it would play out, she would win or she wouldn't but either way he knew this was only the beginning as he watched her go onto the defensive not even breaking a sweat as she attempted to block the incoming attacks, Kyrel had a feeling that she would do well indeed but for now time would only tell through her dedication and hard work. For she had a bright future in the First Order.
