To Kill, or not to Kill.... oh who am i kidding?

Two weeks, it had taken two weeks to get her plan set in motion and now the day had come, hackers and informants had given her all the information she needed and now here she was, looking at the home of the very bothan that had near killed her months ago. With eyes focused through binoculars, all she waited on was a simple confirmation that he was home before she would put step one into action and get the revenge that she craved so much. With her other hand holding a detonator, once armed and fired a rocket would sail right into the home of this Bothan and if anything destroy it and injured the man before he knew what had happened. Then she would move in and finish the job.

Home. The Bothan had not been home for a long time. And the suite that had been his would indeed be visited by a Bothan man. One who was cleaning it out of any evidence of the Spymaster's.... modifications to it. All bugs, all traps, anything that a politician wouldn't have was being removed and all proof that it was there was being scrubbed off. The man did look like the Viceroy (well, ex-viceroy), but Strask wasn't in there. Instead, he sat a level below, in the guard room, looking out the window.
He didn't have authority here anymore. He was leaving the CIS for good. Even if it ment leaving his people.

Alexandra grinned seeing the unlucky lookalike and before she even thought twice her thumb went down and then she tossed the detonator, using the force to enhance the throw, she sent it flying over the city without watching it. No, now she watched for the rocket from where she stood, and when she heard it the grin only grew wider, with a breath in she counted, and at the ten she saw it. Its tip floated almost as if in slow motion towards the home, the sounds of sirens erupting and lastly the contact it made. It went in and then a blast was released, concentrated blasts sent in all directions and killing the unlucky lookalike in mere seconds before anyone knew what was happening. She stayed in the shadows though and watched for confirmation on the man's death, not ready for this to be over yet. [member="Strask Ak'lya"]

As the rocket exploded above him and the building shook, Strask rolled into cover away from the window. He knew two things instantly: That was meant for him. And he was lucky to be alive.
Reaching for the X-CALQ at his waist, he opened up the system and sent a squad to the location the rocket fired from. Surveillance was showing remote launch. Hiding in the corner, he worked on finding the shooter.

As he worked, he couldn't stop a tear from rolling down his cheek. Two Ministers, both close friends, dead like that. Bothuwai was supposed to be safe. He would have to avenge them both. working his hardest, he moderated security cameras throughout a square kilometer. Anything suspicious, he would check out.

Alexandra was busy watching the street with a crowd that had gathered, though was good to make sure she double checked everything, the detonator would be found far from where it had been thrown, assumed to have been dropped off by a passing speeder, her own appearance also masked now as she had turned on video scramblers the moment she had left the roof, and would be near invisible to video and certainly unidentifiable, for now though it was a matter of waiting for confirmation on her targets death. Now she had changed though, back into her pure white robes and cloak, hood up and hair down, and gloves she had worn thrown to the wind. Its likely he would recognize her, but more than assured he would assume she still did not know he was who had nearly killed her months back, letting her play dumb if it came up.

The news was swarming the building in a matter of minutes. As the Guards approached him, he looked up, now crying bitterly. "Don't tell them I'm here." One of them nodded. The others ran off to close down the building down. a message beeped. The troops at the launch site reporting their findings. Remote launch. Some weird cameras in nearby buildings told him something's up. But he had no resources. Th Net was no longer his. He was out of command. And he had nothing but a datapad and his equipment. But that might not be enough.

Finally spotting [member="Alexandra Cinthra"], he sighed. She wasn't a good sign. She may figure out that he was the man who had attacked her in Mos Espa.

She watched, making no attempt to hide herself after turning off the visual and audio disrupters she wore on her, sure that things were clear for her to show herself. Though she acted more like a concerned guest than someone who had been there already, asking a guard what had happened to the building and how it had happened while keeping an eye out for the body of the one she was waiting for. There was no room for mistakes and already both VI's she kept on hand and hackers she contacted would be making sure any evidence pointing to her was pointed instead at other members of government, and even if that should not work she had a stealth ship ready to get out of here with should things go south.

Thee guard, having received the order to shut the building down, responded to [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] with a simple "Terrorist attack. Likely of Protectorate orgin. Killed a pair of civilians and the official cleaning out the Viceroy Suite." As he spoke, a pair on gunrays whisked past, the heads of both covered by sheets. They were whisked onto the ambulance to go th the morgue.
"It appears that there were no injured in the blast, although three people have been confirmed dead." A reporter next to Cithra spoke to the recorder. "The official sent to clear the Viceroy Suite and a pair of maids are confirmed dead. Their videos have been removed from the scene. The Ex-Viceroy, Mr. Ak'lya, however, has not been found. It is assumed he is in the building, but if he was hit by the blast is unknow."

Strask wept bitter tears as he worked. The Bothan knew he would die. He could feel it. He didn't know why. But he decided to do what he had to. Two messages, both sent to people he knew. The first, which he spent no time revisiting, just an old file he kept on stand by, he sent to his old friend, [member="Isley Verd"].
Sir,
I don't know if you'll ever see this. If you do, I just want to say a few things.
First of all, thank you. If it wern't for your help, I'd still live on the streets. That's no life. But you helped me get elected, helped me become something greater than what I had always assumed I was. Thank you.
Secondly, if this message is sent, I am either dead or dying. So, my friend, this is goodbye. I will not see you again.
-Strask
The second message was twofold. A note, untouched, unedited, and sent. But the attachment, he took time to review, to edit. It was a letter to his only child. His daughter. He didn't know where she was. But if she was alive, he wanted it to reach her. And he knew exactly who would do that for him. Hopefully.
[member="Darth Banshee"],
If you receive this, than I am dead or dying. Please, do this one last thing for me. If you ever find my daughter, give her the attracted letter. I would say not to read it, but you probably will no matter what. Goodbye.
-Spymaster

Sighing, he watched the playback of outside. So Cithra had moved. Perhaps she was just curious. But he wasn't sure anymore. She could be here for a kill. He didn't know. But true to his previous encounter, he sent a simple, anonymous message to her datapad.
Took you long enough.

She looked down as the message came through and frowned to herself, the words bright across the screen as she looked at them. "Resistance, make sure this is untraceable, bounce it off as many points as you can, i don't want to see anything worse happen than what needs to." The VI did as she said before she ever began to answer the Bothan she was after, she had hoped the Rocket had killed him, and now she would have to do it with her own hands... she didn't want to see any more pain than she had to. 'Well, sorry i had a bit to deal with, dark spirits in the body, sithies making me join them, creating my own order to protect the ones i care about, you know, the normal poodoo we get ourselves into... you are suppose to be dead.'

[member="Strask Ak'lya"]

As he received the message, the bothan couldn't help from smiling. So she was here.
You're brave coming here.
The message, still from a hidden user, was being bounced through his office. Perhaps it would lead her there if she traced it.
Perhaps you shouldn't have been.
He placed a standing order. Echani woman, fitting Alexandra's description, under arrest for crimes against the state. Known Force-user.
I don't die easily, Cithra.

"I dont have all day, plan A already failed and i have things to do. So i ask you this, why did you attack me and nearly kill me that day?" Asking him why hadn't been her original plan and already she moved off to find a place to sit, her eyes looking at a child that sat next to her, it was Eve, the AI she considered a daughter. Eve was in the body that had been a clone of Alexandra's, nine years old and sitting next to her as she glanced at the datapad. "This the one that went after you Mother?" She pulled up the picture of [member="Strask Ak'lya"] without touching the datapad, as it would be linked to her core via a secured wireless connection. "I haven't found alot of information on him past his political career... scanning government channels now for any chatter." Alexandra nodded and smiled. "Thank you Eve, be careful, we dont need you getting tracked here."

Strask sighed, looking up to the ceiling.
I was young. Thought I had something to prove.
The X-calc chimed in, saying that she had been located. He smiled. [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] had someone with her.

"So you attacked me, left me broken and alone to die, had responders not arrived i would have been nothing more than a faceless murder to you, a cold corpse in a pile of rubble..." She sent the message as Eve fed her information regarding her current appearance, though she was unsure if this was because of something else or something the Bothan had done. "Track the location that the information is from Eve... again you kn-." Eve held up her hand as she looked at Alexandra and smiled. "Yes, i know, be careful. You worry too much mother."

Oh, you're still so blind...
He zoomed in on them, studying the two of them on the bench. They looked... similar
I sent those responders. I had no intentions of killing you.
Studing the pair a bit longer, he looked at what the younger one.
So who's the kid?
[member="Alexandra Cinthra"]

"Best way to explain it is simply my daughter, though its far more complicated... where are you..." He could see her but she was blind and only had what little she could get from her and Eve's combined efforts, and while that was substantial, they had to stay under the radar so had to be careful with what they altered. "Eve, scramble all camera's in a block's radius, only for a half second, if any respond suddenly i want you to trace it."

[member="Strask Ak'lya"]

As the camera scrambled, Strask did try and recover it. Eve would know exactly which one he had been watching from. But everything he was doing would look like it was going through the Viceroy's office, where the new Viceroy was, with no idea who [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] was, nor why she was here. A complete innocent in the duel between her and the spymaster.
And, really? Faceless? I knew everything I needed about you. I could have called you by name if I had wanted.
A pair of guards would approach the pair, and said simply: "Ma'am, you need to come with us."

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
"Ratted me out... very unfortunate... sad." She looked at Eve as the men spoke and said a single word. "Home." With that Alexandra shot from her seat without hesitation and took the one guard by the rifle before twisting and pulling it from him before sending its butt into the man's face, connecting with the nose and breaking it without a problem. As the second one would raise his own rifle on her a blade shot to her hand and ignited, cutting the barrel away and then sending him flying without any more harm then that. She had killed enough today and was barely able to handle the fact they had been innocent. In all that time Eve would have left and scrambled any devices that would be able to track her, Alex was more out of luck though as she activated her own audio and visual scramblers before darting for the nearest alley, still sending messages through several points to avoid tracing as she sped through alleys. "And what did you know about me?"

[member="Strask Ak'lya"]

I knew enough. Name, history, rough power level. Enough to be sure of one thing.
He sighed as the cameras reveled the guards.
You were more use to me alive.
Still, now she had a larger file.
May just have to put a bounty on you for all these crimes.
