Private To Stay For A Bite

Sangnir were few and far between. Especially the ancient ones who knew of their history. Alina had a version of one, of course. A Blood Demon, an oracle that could tell her much of their people's past. Though not too willingly, of course. They answered questions that were asked, but they wouldn't answer anything not specifically asked. It made finding out the past quite the chore. And there was nothing more that Alina wanted to know than the history of her species.

So when she learned of an ancient Sangnir that still lived, she was quick to invite them to Dromund Kaas.

She stood within the spaceport, hands calmly clasped behind her back as she searched and waited for her kin to arrive. They would have much to discuss. And, well, it would be nice to share a meal with another who could savor it the same way she did.

The Holy City...The Ancient Capital..The Planet of Endless Storms...

There were just a few of the names assigned to the Planet of Dromund Kaas which had suffered much underneath the hand of the Ashlan Crusade which sought to purge the world of all darkness and they nearly succeeded for a while until the light eventually collapsed underneath their own weight. The Ancient Ritual of Emperor Vitiate changed the landscape and the atmosphere so permanent that any temporary fixes would be swiftly changed back after some time. The Sith Order had managed to return to their ancient capital of the Sith Empire under the governorship of the Twice-Emperor Carnifex and the cities began to flourish once more.

The Spaceport was rather crowded as ships moved from place to place on the planet; and sith lords and apprentices moved through the streets in an attempt to gain information as to the whereabouts of knowledge from past generations. The Merchant of the Sith had arrived per a quite curious invitation from another sangnir which was quite rare given their low population and overall numbers since the collapse of their civilization millennia ago. Dressed in an ornate outfit of a more gala style instead of his usual fit, draped in a large cape fitted with blue exotic furs.

Clutching within hand was a Blood Chalice of the Sangnir, to supply him with substance to fend off the red hunger ever more. A single glance behind sided mask directed towards Alina Tremiru Alina Tremiru who was clearly the contact in question and thus a conversation would begin.

"From your aura it would seem you are my kin. Dear Lady. It was quite the surprise to receive your message to arrive here in the Holy City. I take it you were not here long?"

A simple question posed and a simpler opening discussion with a soft but firm voice.

"My family from before the change hails from here, but I've only recently returned. Lord Carnifex was gracious enough to put me in charge of all of Kaas." A position given, even earned, still would have to have her prove her worth in the eyes of the others. Especially this world of all worlds. It was a challenge, but one she welcomed none the less. Alina dipped her head in greeting to her elder none the less, a hand set over where her maw resided. A slight bow. The utmost sign of respect within the Sangnir, as if the anima that coursed within her Maw could be offered at a moments notice. She extended the hand, beckoning him forward onto the world of eternal night.

"I have already set out to make use of much the cursed Ashlan's have left behind. Namely, the Ashlan's themselves. Lord Carnifex made sure they met their eternal end, but their bodies are very much still of use."

As to how, it was already readily apparent. A mix of droids and skeletons wandered through the hanger, doing menial tasks such as heavy lifting, cleaning. The droids of course were a transaction from Darth Xyrah Darth Xyrah that she fully intended to use in the more industrial zones such as the spaceport, but the bones of the fallen, the bones of their foes, they would be made to serve unto eternity the people they sought to enslave.

"I've prepared a meal for us both. Forgive me for being presumptuous, but there are few Sangnir I've met, and I look forward to sharing a proper meal with company that can appreciate it how I would."

There was the raising of a single brow not covered by the ornate half mask at the mention that the Young Sangnir before him had managed to rule de jure over the Ancient Capital of Dromund Kaas. The Highbloods of their Old Civilization would never allow such sacrilege to take place if there were still any left such as himself.

There was a slow bow in respect to the Highblood which placed her quite vulnerable if the movement was right; to bite and drain her of anima to power himself for all eternity. This action was rejected after some thought as making an enemy of the Twice-Emperor Carnifex was hardly worth the headaches that would assume.

Glancing around as the Young Sangnir explained that they were using the Ashlan Crusaders as merely laborers in the construction of tasks which was a rather pathetic end but one that the ashlan's did not need. They had exposed the weaknesses of the Sith Order to those who could envision such, they were vulnerable and not god-like beings that they presented themselves. The darkness could be cleansed. She quickly moved onto having a meal between them as the company would understand her desires much more than other sith nobility and force vagabonds.

"You have done well in using the Ashlan Crusaders beyond death itself but do not forget that what is taken will be returned.."

The Sangnir Highblood explained after a minute or two; a quite cryptic message that meant that be wary those who cause untold misery for they will suffer misery themselves in the end. She might very well find herself as a skeleton one day wondering the streets for an uncaring master. The Merchant of the Sith was far more practical than this; knowing when to have limits on depravity and revenge.

"Beyond this messsage, let us feast like you recommend."

A swift movement would occur carrying the noble from the spaceport.

"I do not fear them, not in such a way as you expect." She'd already died, once. Alina none the less kept a calm smile on her face, turning to lead the Highblood through the spaceport towards the estate. A royal estate of course, but not the one that had belonged to the Empress Vornskr. Such a place was best left alone, in her mind at least. She still had some respect for that Empress and what she once stood for.

Even if at the end she abandoned the Empire to become a pirate.

There were less droids in the city proper. And more skeletons. Clean and pristine, dressed up properly. They were used as laborers and workers for the most part, carrying packs and baskets for the locals that walked around with simple smiles as they did their day to day business. "The Ashlan's will be forgotten by the masses as a whole. Such is Lord Carnifex's objective. Instead they will be the laborers you see. But it won't just be them. The dead's assistance is not a punishment in the eyes of the civilians, but a gift of those passed."

She enjoyed the idea greatly. Soldiers were prone to disloyalty. Droids could be hacked. The dead only served their creators.

"I was pleased to know another Highblood lived among the Sith. There are a couple others, very few, but none from the time you've come from."
