ToC:Mason Ordo VS Darth Ayra

The sounds of buzzing words and sparking conversation could be heard in a low rumble in the gladiatorial arena known as The Cauldron. Thousands of people lined balconies, stadium seating, and individual boxes granted to VIP's. The audience lined a large ring in the center of the stadium sheer walls surrounding it and confining anyone who would be trapped inside. Six gates lined the inner walls of the Cauldron, each a heavy durasteel that dropped down from above, each carved with intricate pictures of Gladiators and Beasts alike. The arena itself was nothing but sand, rock, and and small clumps of recently coagulated blood. It was a harsh unforgiving arena, the perfect place for the first round of a tournament.

Two door's slid open from the opposite sides of the arena, two fighters and the first to participate in the Tournament of the Cauldron. Darth Ayra, a Sith of some repute formerly of the Sith Empire, and Mason Ordo, a Mandalorian that as of yet had not made a great name for himself, though this tournament might have changed that. As both fighters took the ring the crowd cheered and roared, each screaming the name of their favored competitor.

They were silenced suddenly by a loud and strong voice, booming throughout the Arena. “Ladies and Gentlemen. I Welcome you, to the Tournament of the Cauldron!” Loud roars erupted throughout “Gathered here are some of the greatest fighters and warriors in the known galaxy, each competing and each honing their craft for years and years. All have come here for your entertainment, and of course their reward. At the end of these fights, Rattatak will have a new Champion. A title that comes with wealth! Renown! And Favor! I present you, with bout one of the tournament!”

The Crowd broke out into a tremendous cheer once again and Nemene watched quietly as the two fighters below prepared themselves. Once she saw that they were ready she smiled, and then spoke one more time. “Let the games begin!”

Mason was ready, he had all his gear with him his armor was heavy, the lean, muscular zabrack was nervous. But lucky for him his armor still gave him the mobility he needed , and his armor allowed everyone in the stadium to see the ripped mandolorian muscles in action. once the gates opened the warrior immediately put his beskar bayonet on his DC-15A blaster rifle, he opened fire charging closer to the sith individual. Today a battle would begin..... for better or worse.

Darth Ayra was already stood in the arena, Sith robe discarded to the left to reveal the equally as black durasteel Armor that was situated over her black combat uniform. Hanging from her shoulder by it's strap laid a WESTAR M5 blaster rifle, loaded with it's ammunition as well as a frag grenade, located in it's grenade launcher. Along her waist line was a utility belt, containing her Lightsaber, Saberstaff and a holster that held her disruptor pistol. Another holster at the back held a combat knife. She also had another one of these on her right ankle.

When her Mandalorian opponent opened fire on her, she swerved to avoid the first shot, the other grazing her Armor plating on her right shoulder. The impact of the turbolaser almost sent her off her feet mid run, but she managed to avoid dropping. Rushing forward, she turned her WESTAR M5 with her arm towards Mason and opened fire. She was using the Force to feel out his presence, shooting at him whilst she kept her gaze ahead to the wall. As she ran past the wall, she chucked a flash grenade onto the floor at the bottom of the wall, but seemingly forgot to remove the clip to detonate it. On the contrary, the Sith Marauder had purposefully dropped the flash grenade there for later.

With her clip running out of ammunition, she pressed the button to jettison the empty clip and reload it with a fresh one from her utility belt whilst she kept running. A moving target was harder to hit, you see.

Immediately he was fired at, the mandolorian chuckled as the sith attempted to run away. The blasts grazed his armor but it was beskar, he would be fine regardless of how the impact felt. He flew with his jetpack into her immediately tackling the sith marauder, next he attempted to stab her with the bayonet. This scheme of fighting up close was what the muscular, lean zabrack wanted. He was an advanced athlete who now owned his own gym on mandalore. Now it was time to gain publicity, and fame. Hopefully the battle would not end quickly with him stabbing her with his bayonet he wanted the fight to last a little longer.

( OCC: how to you want the outcome to be, I would like a cold hearted tie just so we both get what we want)

[I want it to end realistically. So whoever is the realistic winner based on what happens ic.]

Darth Ayra brought her legs underneath Mason as he dived at her, propelled by the jet pack. Pushing her legs under the Mandalorian as she dropped, she twisted her body along her back and neck and brought herself onto Mason with her feet as they fell. Gravel and dirt ripped into her combat uniform, shredding the back of it as she rolled from underneath Mason to on top in the motion, cutting the exposed bits of her neck and hands from the pieces of mini debris kicked up in the fall. The bayonet grazed her durasteel Armor, and whilst it was not as strong as beskar'gam, it was still sturdy enough to take the impact of the weapon. As it pierced her Armor, she found her hand locking around her Lightsaber. With her other hand pulling on the trigger on her WESTAR, firing down onto Mason who was underneath her, she turned her Lightsaber on and got ready for close quarters. As a Sith Marauder, fighting up close and personal was the way she liked it.
