The Nightsister wandered the streets looking for opportunities to work. Magick make a full belly and she was very hungry. She came to a shop selling very unique objects, one she recognized. It was a crystal from her homeworld, it appeared as gray emerald. She entered in and gave a bow to the stone, the shopkeeper, a very stout but short woman in a yellow apron with raven black hair who bent hee arms on her plump sides,
“Lookin hit the street, I don’t need more window shoppers.”
She took a broom and sweepes into a metal bin that immolated.
Sunyia turned to her,
“
Do you have any job openings?”
The Shopkeeper stopped sweeping, “No wages could afford that stone missy.”
Sunyia lowered her hood, her white shoulder length hair falling against her pale skin,
“
Please, I haven’t eaten in some time. I would work to eat.”
The Short Shopkeeper squinted,
“Hmm.. you know anythin about sales?”
Sunyia Looking back at the stone ahe nodded, “
That is a Nightsister Crystal from Dathomir. Its value ia great and will bring luck to any who possess it”
She conveniently left out that if was a tainted crystal, but this was about landing a job, and that bit of information could be relayed later.
“Hmmm.. not bad, make a sale and you have the job.”
The Witch was very nervious, the Shopkeeper pointed her broom handle at the door, “Well.. go out there and draw in costumers! Your not gonna make a sale standin around!”
The Nightsister stepped into street with passersby of all sorts, she leaned enough to show her amulets swing beneath her neck. Her eyes glowing green as flame as she tried to draw attention. Her crimson robes also peeksd beneath the tan, when the Shopkeeper poker her with a broom handle.
“That outfit is ugly.. anythin beneath?”
Sunyia sighed and took off the pauper robe to reveal a fine scarlet tunic and leggings with four flap like pieces of skirt. Sunyia bowed to the Stout Old woman,
“That better.. now get someone to come in!”
Sunyia tried her best, some approached out of curiosity at her complexion and outfit.
“
Please come inside and see rare relics, one will give you the best fortune.”
The Couple laughed at her as they passed by. Sunyia kept looking into sea of strangers, hoping to illicit at least some interest. So she used her Magick and disappeared into swirl of green and black smoke, and then returned with Kryat Dragon Pearl.
“
Come! See the rare gem of the Beast that roams Tatooine! The dragon of the desert! It is said to possess magic..”
A little girl Twi’lek of green was in awe, “really?” The parents stood behind her. With a hand she made the pearl poof away. “Where so you think it is?”
The Little Twi’lek whispered, “where?!” She pulled it from beneath her lekku and held it.
“
Right there! Ha!”
The Little Girl giggled and she did get the Twi’lek father to inquire about the price, which she said, “120,000 credits.”
The Twi’lek Man
laughed heartedly as he took his daughter and walked away.
Looking back in she saw the skowl of the old Shopkeeper. She was running out of patience…
