- Holocron Name: Tome of the Unshackled | The Holocron of Judas Foster
- Alignment: Dark
- Origin: Dark Jedi Master Judas Foster

- Gatekeeper: The Unshackled Gatekeeper is known simply as 'Abbadon.' He desires nothing, wants for nothing, and is wholly content with his forced isolation within the holocron itself. Abbadon considers it ironic being shackled to a seemingly unshackled nexus of information, a testament to his often cynical and dry humor. Stoic, dispassionate, and steadfast, Abaddon dutifully fulfills his role. Taking the form of an ethereal swordsman, he stands ready to verify the authenticity and credibility of his future users - regardless of their Force alignment.

DEFENSES
- Accessibility: Accessibility is open to any Force sensitive being, regardless of their alignment. However, it should be noted that this dark side artifact can and will cause extreme bouts of mental anguish, discomfort, nausea and disorientation to those solely serving the light. There are only two trials to pass to activate this holocron and access its annals.
The user/owner must provide a blood tithe to the holocron for every single instance that they call upon its teachings. This act must also be done in self-harm, and the volume of blood does not matter - even a single drop works. - The user/owner must engage in physical conflict with the holocron in their possession to be able to initially activate the holocron. This may be achieved in a simple battle during war, or when hunting dangerous prey, or any physical strife that draws the blood of an opponent.
[*]Security: There are no security features in the holocron's arsenal save for the gatekeeper: Abbadon.
CONTENT INFORMATION
"You know, you talk too much."
The Introduction of the holocron is a very brief and to-the-point biography of Judas. It details his inoculation into war and strife as a child-soldier, his first love, and the grisly excerpts of his earliest days spent as a soldier of fortune.
In Chapter 1: The Blade, Judas recalls and provides insight into much of the swordsmanship techniques that he has grown to use and master. This is arguably one of the largest portions of information within the holocron, and goes into great depth in both lightsaber combat as well as that of more exotic weapons and Sith Swords. Much of the lightsaber instruction is that of Djem So and Juyo.
Chapter 2: The Void is an essay and lecture on the trials and tribulations of being "one who struggles." Numerous philosophical and psychological topics are in this chapter, most of which dealing with exile, extreme isolationism, and social nuances of most social outcasts. It provides, in great context, other dealings with mental and moral issues in the form of a stoic mindset, an acceptance of mortality, and meditation techniques. There are also teachings that hint at later lessons of the holocron, especially ones that revolve around the protection of the mind when using extreme Force powers such as Force Rage and other mental manipulation techniques.
"I don't have time for miracles. They make me puke."
Chapter 3: The Light is the smallest of the codexes within the Tome of the Unshackled. In this portion of the information contained, Judas provides personal insight on various Light side Force abilities and his opinions on the majority of the light-sided, monastic orders in the current galaxy.
The meat of the holocron lies within Chapter 4: The Dark. Within this chapter of knowledge is everything Judas has ever learned about the dark side of the Force. It begins with his early days and applications as a child-soldier, his entrance into the Sith Empire as a young man, and then his exile resulting from his rebellious nature. Chapter 4 is the largest chapter of the entire holocron and has dozens of entries, ranging from techniques to enhance one's connection to the Force, proper applications in combat, and utility usage. Beholden within its contents are also master-level lessons and teachings of Judas's tricks of the trade: Force Rage, Battlemind, and the conjuring of Force Wraiths. Due to the self-destructive nature of many of these abilities, Judas has included numerous alternatives to them as well as preventative measures to ensure the practitioners of these arts do not go insane from trial and error.
And finally is Chapter 5: The End. This is a solemn, somber outro that sets the tone for the rest of Judas's life. Trials, tribulations, sorrows, and pleas for forgiveness lie within here. This chapter is only accessible after the holocron's user has listened to or read the entirety of the other contents within the holocron. This is where Judas' secrets lie, and where they shall for all of eternity.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
"Those with the strongest armor are often the weakest."
The Tome of the Unshackled is a cutthroat, dry, and often ferocious compendium of information about the life of Judas Foster. While many believe that the holocron is simply a database of all of his teachings and knowledge in the 'Control' aspects of Force abilities, they will find that there is much more than meets the eye. Above all, this holocron was created by Judas as a "just in case" document, for when he ultimately rids his mortal shell in the ever constant war with time. He knows that there are others in the galaxy that struggle just as much as he does: and this is his guidebook for them.
