The Lord of Sorrow
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Tomyris was discovered and named during the reign of Emperor Vitiate.
In response to the increased pressure from the war with the Galactic Republic, the Sith Empire launched a dozen large carrier vessels with Sith Pureblood volunteers held in carbonite stasis that were meant to colonize the world without the Jedi discovering their presence. It was meant to serve as a fallback world in the event that the Empire fell and the leadership needed to retreat from the greater galaxy. With none of the major Sith Lords ever arriving on the world, the colonists were left to their own devices after it was discovered that their intended leader had somehow gone missing from the heritage vessels.
Following the collapse of the Empire, the route to the planet was largely lost, but the rumors of the world still persist among those that believe the SIth species did not vanish from the galaxy fully. They have remained isolated for thousands of years and have built a society based on mutual cooperation in order to ensure their survival. The Tomyrii Sith have long since abandoned the cutthroat ways of the past and now work together toward a better future.
These changes in the Tomyrii Sith psychology were influenced quite a lot by the Force Nexus that existed on Tomyris. A neutral and powerful presence the Sith came to study it more deeply and determined for themselves that Light and Dark must exist together. There is no Light, without Dark, and vice versa, and that informed their formation of religious orders dedicated specifically to the study of the different aspects of the Force.
- Intent: To create a planet that is inhabited by the Sith Pureblood species in the farthest reaches of space where they could likely have gone undetected for thousands of years. Perhaps with the future use of adding a new minor faction in the outer edges of the galaxy.

- The Tomyrii Sith belong to a proud and honor-driven warrior culture. It is considered standard for nearly everyone in society to know Teras Kasi as a means of centering one's mind and mastering one's body. Military preparation and service are compulsory at the age of majority and every citizen is capable of defending the planet from foreign aggressors. Force sensitivity is nearly universal, and the traditional restrictions enforced by the ancient Sith Empire have been removed. Philosophically the Tomyrii Sith are taught that the use of the Force is strictly based on the intent of the user. The belief is pervasive, and while many fall on one side or the other, there is no conflict between light and dark practitioners as they see one another as essential to the existence of the other. This harmonic existence has extended to the infrastructural development of the planet as well, as the expansive population integrates itself with the natural world while expanding their living space. It is not uncommon for homes to be made out of tree life that has been altered with the Force, and there is an extensive practice of creating homes, buildings, districts, and even cities, by merely manipulating the natural environment to provide shelter and space for the Sith inhabitants.
- Competitive sports play an important role in the development of the youth on Tomyris. As small-scale war games, they are trained to cooperate as a means to mitigate the shortcomings of their peers. Natural talent is encouraged and often pursued, but those that ignore their talents are ostracized as lazy and unworthy. This cultural affinity for sports has created a physically strong people with excellent cardiovascular and pulmonary health.
- Humility is a common trait among the Tomyrii Sith. No work is truly unskilled, and from trash collection to military engineering and more, each Sith is considered essential in their own way as they contribute to the further function of society.
- While no true God is worshipped, the reverence of both aspects of the Force is near universal among the Tomyrii Sith. There are holy orders dedicated to the light and the dark, as well as the blending of the two, and each of them represent different aspects of the Force and its ever expanding mystery.
- Tomyrii Sith live a very sparse lifestyle, with little need for luxury or oppulence.
- Government: Parliamentary Monarchy
- Affiliation: None
- Wealth: Tomyris is a planet with high wealth due to the abundance of rare resources.
- Stability: Highly stable, the planet's poverty rate is low and thus the crime rate is also remarkably low. Very safe for visitation.
- Freedom & Oppression: The Tomyrii Sith share a wide degree of freedom. While military service is compulsory, the level of readiness is maintained by intermittent war games to keep their society prepared to protect the planet should the need arise.
- Military: Every citizen between the age of 18 and 40 is compelled to active military service, meaning there is a large fighting force prepared to defend Tomyris. Dozens of orbital platforms are maintained along with a small fleet of ships that patrol the star system.
- Technology: Galactic Standard
