Tony Boleoti is a Jedi Padawan, though he does a lot of activities that are not Jedi like, like secretly being part of the mob or engaged in underworld activities. Because of that he can't rely on his lightsaber as he wants to remain incognita and will only ignite his lightsaber if in dire need. He decided to construct a new lightsaber that will not only act as a Jedi tool but also will able to be used as a melee weapon even if the lightsaber is not ignited. Resulting to make his lightsaber hilt be able to be used as a melee weapon be it as Batons/Eskrima when the dual bladed light saber is detached into two pieces or Nunchaku due to the cables extension in the middle attached to the two lightsaber.
