Toola Toola la la [Maxi]

Toola
Mid Morning
The-Snow-Dunes-Of-Kessel-III.jpg
Landing the Silver Jedi transport on the fields of snow on Toola, Coci turned to her new Padawan with a look of relief on her face. "Good to be on ground, @Maxi", she said offering a apologetic smile. But the landing had been A1, text book in fact, but Coci never sees flying that way.

She stood up from the pilot seat and indicated for Maxi to follow. Toward the back of the ship she would gather her things, a suit of the conditions of the planet and her boots. She had issued Maxi with his set of clothing and boots and hoped she got his size right.

"Lets go play in the snow", she said with a slight hint of mischief as today they are to begin his training in telekinesis. After she was ready and dressed Coci punched the ramp button which opened with a hiss as cold air entered the ship. She smiled, as the coldness reminded her of Midvinter, but the smile was etched with much emotion too. Thurion and her had many memories of the planet in their stay there, some good and others bad. War is never forgot or remembered without regret.

However, she pushed those thoughts aside for the moment, as the turned to Maxi to see if he was following her down the ramp onto the white snow surface of Toola.

Maxi had stretched as he got up from his seat "I've been used to this for much too long. I still hate sitting down like this too." He looked over to his new master. He has never been to this kind of planet. Although he had been in the snow before. In any case he followed her and put on the suit that was given to him. It was a little snug but, it did fit.

He smiled as she said for them to play in the snow. It wasn't the last thing he thought he would hear but, it was funny. As the cold wind entered the craft he exhaled to see his breath. he always thought that was cool, even for the rare times he had been in the snow.

He of course followed her as she exited the craft. He looked around as he finally walked onto the planets surface. What he did do was walk ahead abit and look up into the sky. "Whoa..." The sky was really clear and he enjoyed the sight. This was another rare sight for him in which he also enjoyed.

So far he was really enjoying this little trip. Although he should be serious into training he was quite relaxed. Even when he worked as a spy. He used to train in harsh conditions and was even taught how to get out of a torture situation. He was even tortured but the imperials whom had trained him. In the end he always had a smile on his face. He was a rather bright individual and, can be very laid back.

Her snow boots left their mark in the white soft fresh fall. Climbing up one of the many snow dunes in the area she soon reached the top of it, underneath hard rock meters below the surface of the icy blanket.

Coci looked out around them, for miles her penetrating eyes could see nothing but more of the same, save for a darker spot on the horizon which would be the old Ithaqua Station, they might make for there once training is over and check it out. After all they are in Silver Protected space and it would not hurt to do some investigations.

She turned to find Maxi close by, and as he walked up the slope, "Maxi do you know how to use Tapas?", she asked.

He shook his head. "No, I haven't learned just yet. We never found a time to train in it." He began to wonder where they were going. Although he was open to anything of course. He was still going to have fun.

((Maxi don't forget to go get your FU tag. New rules of the boards))

"The suit will keep you warm today but it is a good skill to learn and use when you might be caught out", she said, "Summon the force to you, around your body, use it's energy to keep you warm, it will maintain your natural body temperature levels in extreme conditions. It is a easy enough skill to learn, most Jedi learn it quickly, try it".

Coci moved on a little away from him, trying to find a good place to begin telekinesis training. She moved to the highest peak of the dune on which they stood and decided the snow here was nice and light and plenty of fun. Once Maxi had attempted Tapas they would begin.

He nodded and took off his gloves. Once he removed them he could feel the cold grip of the air hit his skin. He cringed slightly but, took a breath. He began to focus on his hands and allow the force to warm them. Not even a second after he felt his hands warming up. It was almost like the cold didn't even touch him. He took surprise to this and began to unzip the top part of his suit to reveal his shirtsleeve shirt. underneath. As if he already had done so he simply felt normal. The cold didn't bother him at all let alone give him some kind of reaction. "I guess I can really do it." He smiled. "Cool..." He whispered to himself.

He began to follow his master once again. He felt pretty cool knowing that he could use the force like that. That would be the first thing he actually learned in terms of using the force.

*OOC: Can I get a link to get one... I sorta forgot about that...*

She could sense him now, more clearer then before. She felt the force gather around him, as she began to use it, his aura and signature growing much stronger in that moment as if a 'recognition' lit the area. This one is clever and powerful and yet to be realised, his full potential just waiting to be discovered.

As Master she reached out to her Padawan, and their force signatures mixed so that they would form the bond between the two, Master and Apprentice. In time however, that bond will be severed when he reaches his Knighthood.

"Do you understanding the nature of snow, the laws of physics?", she asked as he approached her position. "These two elements are essential to using Telekinesis, knowing how these laws operate allows Jedi to manipulate the very things we wish to move or lift".

Coci raised her hand and directed it toward the soft snow near by, she raised a small wall of snow about one meter into the air and held it, before letting the loose flakes fall back to their beds. "Do not worry if you do not succeed initially .. it will come to you, now try it".

He thought a bit of what she meant by that. The laws of physics behind the snow. He knew how they where made but, he never exactly thought about how they had an effect on physics.

He nodded as she told him to try it. He took a breath and put one hand up. He then began to focus on the area next to her wall of snow. The snow shifted slightly but it looked almost like a small whirlwind. It didn't create much of anything but it was slowly building up to something.

Eventually there was a small mound of snow about three feet off the ground. The snow didn't form a wall but it was almost like a pillar. "I think I can do this..." The snow began to shift back down onto the ground. He took notice to this and focused harder as he closed his eyes. Out of the top of the mound of snow came a snowball the size of a soccer ball. it hovered over the mound of snow it came from.

Of course he didn't noticed he had even done that and hoped that he fixed his tiny mountain anyways.

She watched as Maxi began to move the snow, forming a ball. "There is much to think about when performing this skill, remember the laws of gravity, the mass the thing your wish to move", she whispered as he worked.

The whirlwind he created was pleasing indeed, that is something he can develop in the future and something she knows Master E'ron employs with powerful effect.

"Be clear in your mind what you want the object to do, where you want it to go".

He nodded as he began to move it side to side. At first he moved it slowly back and forth. After alittle time of doing that he launched it straight into the wall behind their force-made snow piles.

He took surprise and opened his eyes "Oh, my bad. I might have went a little too fast." He looked over to his master "Should I try again or, should I try something different?" He wondered what she was going to say. There wasn't much to work with in terms of telekinesis but, he did think about what kind of things he could do with the snow. It would be like playing in the snow except not touching it and getting really cold.

He was already surprised enough that he was just in the bottom half of his suit with a short sleeve shirt underneath. It had to be cold to keep all of this snow relatively solid right.

After thinking a bit he began to lose focus. He started feeling slightly cold again and began to focus once again. He then began to feel warm again. He took comfort in this.

"Never apologies for effort Maxi, yes try again", she said with a grin. "TK takes time to learn especially when you are first beginning. Remember all all things Snow is subjected to gravity".

Coci contined to lift and drop the snow by way of illustration, in time Maxi will be able to lift the snow and form it, not transform it that is another skill entirely.

She could sense his conflict between skills "For now just focus on TK, your suit will keep you warm don't use up valuable energy on it for now".

He nodded and put his coat back on. He took a breath and put his hand out. He focused on the snow and it began to form. As he focused he had a good idea of what he had to do.

With a bit of effort he was able to levitate the snow. This time it seems like he had much better control over the Telekinesis. He smiled as he opened his eyes. He could really feel the weight on it but, it didn't feel like much of a problem. He simply set it down and tried to create a wall at least half the size of the one his Master had made. It was fairly slow but, after a short time he had made the snow pile a wall. It wasn't identical but, it was what he wanted.

He relaxed slightly and kept his focus onto his wall of snow so it may stay up.

"That is very good Maxi, now see if you can move it around. You created a whirlwind with the snow before repeat that", she said doing the same thing.

Coci allowed the snow to rise higher until it formed a tall column and began to slowly move the snow in a circular motion. Eventually, it would form a funnel and remain swirling in the air before them.

If he could get that to work, Maxi will be well on the way to using TK with great effect.

He nodded and tried it. Of course it started fairly slow but then began to make his own small cyclone. This time he had much better control then he did before. It felt almost natural to him. With somewhat ease he was able to create his own.

All in all he started getting the hang of using the force.

She is pleased with his progress in such a short space of time, the young man is quick and clever, which will serve him well out there in the wider galaxy. But like all youth, he would have to be mindful of over confidences.

"Lets take a short break, walk this way", she said as Coci began to move down the snow dune toward the flatter part of the ice landscape. On the way, she would ask, "What are your aspirations as Jedi, Maxi. What do you see yourself as?, a guardian or more". His answer would give her more insight into the direction of his training.

"Here we are, the ice field" she pointed to a cluster of broken ice on the hardened surface. "Lets see how you go with something heavier". She crossed her arms over her chest and waited for her Padawan to lift some ice.

He released the snow and let it drift down. He nodded as he agreed to follow her. As he followed [member="Coci Sinopi"] he began to answer her questions, "Well... I haven't really thought about it... Maybe I could be a Guardian but..." He thought hard about it. "I'm really not sure..."

Once they had arrived at the ice field he looked at the patch of cracked snow and nodded. He had a feeling he would need a lot of focus for this. He put his hand up and focused hard on the patch of ice.

The ice began to crack and shake slightly. After a short while it had began to float in the air. He relaxed once the ice had dislodged itself from the patch. About three pieces of ice had flew through the air. They simply floated in its own space.

He sighed gratefully as it finally left the patch. He swore he would have popped a blood vessel or something.

"Well with time your path will reveal itself, you are still young".

Coci smiled as she watched the ice floating in the air. "Again, make is move", she asked as Maxi work. Telekinesis is a difficult skill and over time in training by himself, will me grow more and more strong and have the ability to use TK without much thought.

"Now lets return to the ship, and go home. Unless you wish to stay and explore?".

He began to move then with little effort. All the effort that came to actually making them move was to dislodge them from the ice. He made them sway back and forth and even twirled them around each other. After doing so he set them down and looked to his master.

"We can leave whenever. I don't mind staying for a little while longer." He smiled and yawned slightly. He wasn't very tired but he was so excited he stood up for a little longer the night before.

She smiled looking over to Maxi, much time he had spent exploring the temple and most probably getting to know other Silver Jedi, from Padawans up. He will, in time, fit in nicely but youth will always demand an odd sleep pattern too much to do and experience. This was one of the parts of life Coci had not experienced, her youth spent in fighting for a cause. Fresh out of military school. She envied him in a way, in a lot of ways.

"Then we will stay, but first a break and some food on the ship. We might go and take a look at Ithaqua Station".

He nodded "Alright, no problem." He became ready to follow her. He felt this was going to be pretty cool. He rather enjoyed being a Silver Jedi. Although he still hasn't met anyone he rather enjoyed everything. He smiled as he looked around. This would technically be the best trip he had ever been on.
