Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Location: Harlequin Masters Quarters

Matsu was moving around more, her and Saeko were working on the cube as it sat there glowing. She had been surprised to find it and holding it in her hand the small box was warm to the touch. The runes on the sides denoting its usefulness as she had been testing it and working. The ability to take objects sensitive with the force and break them down was something she had not been expecting and when she fed it those crystals from Ayden Cater she had not been expecting to get a more purified crystal with dust and shards. Matsu was looking the Liran over as the blue skinned "female?"... she wasn't really sure while sitting there. Not that it mattered while Matsu leaned back in her seat and the cube went back to the table, the engineer for the ship having drawn her schematics of it from what she could make out without breaking it.

"It is done Lady Ike, this cube is much like the molecular converter cubes that were on Karra. Except it seems to feed off of and harness the energies of the force which can make it very powerful in the wrong or right hands. I am surprised it was not sealed away in a vault like other artifacts." Matsu looked at her and smiled at that while humoring her. The engineer was skilled and correct, it hadn't been sealed away because no one had found it same as the eye as she looked at the case holding the stone. She had been using it and it had helped fuel her energies within the force. The shards of the golden globe collected from her journey across the stars, the waters from the valley of the jedi that had saved her and the wellspring in vials attached to the sigil. She had a handful of places to go had seen more since being banished.

"Oh it would be if the jedi had known it existed or where it had been, I was tempted to give it to them but the danger of it being misused in these times of chaos would possibly be to great. I'll study it and leave it somewhere with my notes, same for the other artifacts. Keeping them in one place would be dangerous at least in a vault, there are others who make a habit of breaking into vaults, I think keeping them here on the Harlequin would be safer. Here it has protection from some of the best crew members around and we are expanding daily to welcome new ones, not including the pets we have taken in. Some of those critters we have found and have in the cargo bay as well are a welcome sight." Matsu smiled a bit as she stood up and stretched, her back popping while she stood there in her sarashi and bands holding her hair in place.

"So where are we headed Lady Ike." Saeko was always curious but she was also one who could rebuild anything they found. Matsu looked at her while she moved towards the bed stopping only to let her hair out of the bands. "We are going to a place one can train, I am out of practice and need to center myself. With everything happening, with everything that has happened, a break is needed to refresh as well and it will give you all a chance to rather enjoy the sights." Matsu had set the course and as she moved to the rack near the wall, the central blade surrounding the others was the special one they had found. Her and Vulps before he had disappeared and she touched it. The cold iron of it, the taungs weapon that had its own miniature stealth generator within the hilt. Something she would possibly return to the mandalorians should they remember and request it.

The clothing that was laid out Matsu grabbed and donned quickly taking the time to ensure the kimono was secured over her sarashi but as Saeko left and she watched herself in the mirror, Matsu worked to keep her clothing all secured. Tight and close to her body so it didn't snag on anything, a light armor from the duraplast she could use to protect herself. They were going towards the moon of Cazador and as the ship began to set down, Matsu had a look on her face. Finishing up while she secured her gear in her equipment pack, her satchel, her harness with the gunbelt, utility belt and several more pouches of equipment. She was weighed down a little more bu the gear was easier to lift. Leori had done something for her, instead of using the force at all times to support her body, to hold her up she was able to now do it somewhat under her own power.

Her muscles restored and healed through the power of the jedi master channeling the healing crystal from padawans name day celebrations, the eye of the sun to augment herself and the wellspring's power. She could feel her body functioning again as the muscles strained, regaining their full use. Her load becoming lighter and lighter as the jedi walked brushing her hair back over her shoulders to settle to the small of her back. She didn't bring anything more the her sabers and disc blade which was more sabers, the wind fans were something to practice with and at the forearms, her remnant blaster for protection and the twin blades from her lightsabers were visible on her hips. Their silver hilts engraved with decorative electrum and force activated. The pontite and solari crystals pulsing for her to feel their powers while the sigil gleamed with its extra attachments.

She had christened the gear in the force and walked down the ramp of the ship as her crew stood there prepared to do as needed and come to her aid if she contacted them. The crystals she had found with Matsu glowing while the lambent glowed on her throat so she could feel it and vong if they were near. She was looking at the world and moving forward as the tremors in the force came, she could feel her own energy now and Matsu exhaled letting her body become lighter, the Asobi system around her hummed and sang with the energies it had. The different forms of life and the different beings all going around and doing their daily lives. The history had intrigued her, the power had appealed to her in what it showed, raw natural and untapped potential. Then there was the beauty of the world as she had began to share it with Hanna and her children.

She exhaled the pain and anguish while her body moved up, retraining her skills had been something she focused on. Revisiting her old masters, her old friends, finding the ones who could teach her and her family. Grandmaster Kiskla was only so powerful and force lighting a jedi was a dangerous thing.... Because it wasn't permanent, it wasn't a darksider trying to control the galaxy it was a small jedi serving the lightside of the force. Her sabers would not work if she served the dark and her body never would have been able to heal, the darkness eating away at her like a disease in the end. She let it all out until her hair was blowing back and Matsu could feel it on her face. The moisture within the cloud, the first rays of the sun over the clouds. She spread her arms out wide taking it all in before her gaze turned towards the mountains.

The air was sharp against her face and thin, breath control a needed technique for high altitudes while Matsu allowed her body to warm itself with tapas. Practicing the force techniques was easy enough this was all about the skills one needed to use for travel. She could feel the force energies around her while the speed was deflected and moved along the length of her body with the force in a small telekinetic barrier. She was going towards one of the sections of the mountains that they had built a shrine, the pious tribe of the blue waters. Their dedication to the force making them something of a myth among their own people, their power with it something that allowed for learning how center ones self and she was glad to see the temple peaking over the ridge. Quickly Matsu burst forward with a quick gust of speed and the loud pop before touching down.

The air around her hair more then enough as she stood there letting the force swirl around her body. A small barrier and shield generating energy while tendrils of blue energy within the force came out. Force generation was to make physical manifestation of the force, within the sith she had seen it as black tendrils that could melt and vaporize. With the lightside it could defend and almost be made into a cocoon of force energy. It tickled at her arms raising the hairs on end while lumps of flesh came up, the feeling of light and life invigorating her as it slowly went into her body illuminating her eyes. She looked at the modestly dressed priests and priestesses who were looking upon her. Their faces showing only some expression as she walked towards the section of the temple directed for her use. She knew her crew would be coming to meet her later, bringing more stuff but they were going to be coming up the long way.

That gave her time as she entered the courtyard putting her stuff down, the waters of the temple flowing through it as it swirled. Matsu relaxed herself feeling the energies around her while her mind was working on centering itself. She was prepared to start while her feet set on the ground, planted an firm with the stone. One hand raising up towards the water, the other following suit while she shifted position. Her hands in front of her, feet planted apart and inhaled. Her hands coming towards her body, slowly and pulling with the force while the space of her breath determined the distance. Then she exhaled and pushed her hands out with the energy flowing from her breath into the fingertips then out into the air. This was a strange world to see and move about on but she slowly let her energies continue. The lessons of her master, of her uncles coming to her. Power is in the breath, the movement more then the strike.

She continued to breath in and exhale it out until the movement became fluid and natural. Timed and precise with the water flowing towards her and then away, the movement of her hands changing a little while she twisted bringing a line of shaped water into the air to wrap around her. The power still there but now it was changing shape, turning into something else that she needed. The change of state from liquid to solid, from water to ice something to work on but Matsu wasn't done while she twisted around slowly on her heel letting the water hover. Then expand and become a funnel flowing upwards into the air to close until she directed it down to her body. The water wall thin and shimmering as she looked out grasping at it and the crackling as it started shifting into ice. A wall of ice around her that expanded with small spikes, then launching out. The spikes becoming water as Matsu moved holding her arms out extended.

She let the water spheres hover while breathing in and out a little more rapidly, slowly her heart rate came down, the trickle of sweat on her brow as it dripped to the ground. Her concentration remaining on the elements around her while she brought her hands in to clap splashing more of it. The air coming up with the vapors within it, holding in place and circling her as she was focusing on it. The ability to alter the environment, to change the weather had been diminished, she was no longer a jedi stormcaller. Now she was just another relearning how to make funnels at best, gusts of wind at the easiest. A small smile curled her lips as she raised one leg slowly going up and bringing the funnel closer. Closing it with her as the cap on the top while it compressed and raised her into the air. Towards the second story of the temple giving her a view of the world from the mountains highest point.

She could feel it, the spiritual side of the force, at this temple was more present and easier to find when you could take in the beauty. As she slowly came down to the ground Matsu knelt preparing her mind for anything, for something. She could feel it and there were techniques she had learned and experimented with. Slowly pushing her mental prowess and abilities higher and higher until she was one of the more diverse force users the Silver jedi had. Able to train others in a variety of skills as they moved and went. The kinetic techniques to control the elements were not lost but they were easier to access with understanding and skill. With knowledge of the physical world the force manipulating it could become so much easier to control, that was one of the big things that others had felt. That they had not always grasped was the mind could make the force limitless or harder to use.

Her body was but the vessel until she was moving now going forward towards the edge of the stone and standing over the water. She was looking down at one of the sections of the temple designed to be beaten and destroyed. It was for combat, which made sense... You could be a holy order but as with everything they understood defense. Matsu looked at herself and moved letting the gusts of wind lead her down towards the patch of earth, her shoes touching it while she breathed in the scent of freshly turned earth. They had repaired it and her mind went to the combat stances she knew of from the jedi. Her center of being without a blade focused on hand to hand combat while Matsu reached out feeling everything she could. The force entering her body with a sharp intake of breath and then coming out with a force push she reinforced. The mental energies to reinforce the waveform finding that place between rage and serenity while it rippled outwards.

Her boots on the earth was a nice thing, she could feel it here. They were rooted, they were grounded and everything connected. Matsu closed her eyes as she let her breath come out slowly. Air and water were easier, they were natural and with the breath. The earth was many forms, many shapes and always changing. From shifting sand to the most solid stone and refined metal. You could hold it in your hand and never grasp all of it, it made planets, protected and provided the foundation for life. She was moving her body now slower and more precise with the force energy changing to match. She made each step send waves and roots into the earth until it grasped around the stone, around the earth to pull and shape it to her will. Matsu could feel it while she crouched lower raising a foot and then stomped down as pebbles raised to float around her. She was letting her mind adjust as the stance radiated the strength and power of it, the rules were differing and still there but gravity could be bent with the force allowing the stones to hover. Allowing them to raise and she pushed them with another stomp sending her fists forward. Her knuckles clenched white while she was breathing in and out for a moment until her fists came down pulling at some of the earth as it raised up to become visible. A spike showing in the earth while she raised it to her height.

The earth came up stopping on front of Matsu as she let her body relax, the tension was there, the power of the form and stance but there was more to it while she focused. It wasn't just one thing you had to do, you needed to know how to bring it together and her foot came up quickly as she slammed down at the heel of her boot sending a ripple and attack outwards. Twisting and rolling towards the spike to shift its position, another one as she wrapped the earth around her feet and rolled it under to move without running or using her legs. The pumping of her arms brushing the earth aside and around to propel her forward. The shifting of the earth making a ring of loose earth that mirrored the sands of a desert and was great for practicing on. Matsu was pushing all of it forward sinking hr feet into it as the loose soil shifted with the movements of her hands. The sands turning as she wanted them instead of reaching for one things she was focused on the smaller, on the mundane and each piece to make it dance with her hands and shape itself into the tools she needed. A twirl of sand forming as she shifted it into a seat and kicked at it with her foot sending it towards the open section crashing down towards the valley below. She could feel the air coming to her while her control and energy were spent on the control of the sand to hold it in place until it was over and then dust in the wind.

Matsu watched the dust and sand blow away while she was moving now, her mind was still working and going after each section before she could do anything. A small smile on her face while she spun around scooping some of the spare tools they provided for practice and caring of the gardens. Matsu was feeling the metal in her hands, the ridges and imperfections while searching for it, reaching for it deep down as she slowly tapped the metal. Sending vibrations into the metal deep so it reverberated and came back, she could almost taste the metallic taste on her tongue. She moved it and held her hand over the metal as the surface bubbled shaping just a little bit at a time until it was in a lump and then in a line more like a baton then a hand shovel. She grinned to herself and thought about what could come from this and the ability to use the force and shape it into a weapon or tool, it could be done as force weapons had been. Hardening the metal and making the force create a lattice network able to protect it from dulling or from other weapons. She had worked a great deal to try and learn those techniques as needed and worked into the equipment she held. Her ultimate prize the suit of armor she was trying to work into a suit to wear as a jedi needed something a little more. She was still trying to gather the parts of it all, the pieces were there but she needed ones to help put it together.

The metal was there in her hand and Matsu looked out, her body shifting as she turned and brought it together, altering the environment as she worked on the fissures and to reach deep within the earth. She pushed at the ground raising the sand up and into a block, then brought it around to be in front of her as it shifted into a solid stone that she was forming and cut with layers. The metal from the tool raising up towards the block as she shifted some of the stone and earth into a staff letting the metal become a spike on the end of the large handle. She had a hammer and weapon to practice while before her stance shifted stomping to raise up a block she kicked towards the open view. Letting the stone fly up high before gravity took over and it started to drop in an arc going with a crash. She moved raising herself up with a spin kick as the sand lashed out from the ground to follow her foot before crashing down into the earth and making a pool, her foot swept across the ground kicking out a section of rock that flew from the ground while she spun on her hand into a crouched position. Her feet were still in the stance working to put the power and energies within her grasp. Matsu lept up coming down onto a circled section that floated up as it rotated in the air and she reached into the earth shaping grips for her hands. Before it touched back down and she could hear it... The clapping from a few of the crew members who were standing there and the hooves of the Del-Ya.

She was letting a breath out now, this world, these skills were a powerful thing and as Matsu stood there with her hands and boots covered in the earth she was reveling in it. There was power in the small things and one had to understand the muck to be able to call and stand taller. She didn't deny others their power or their opinion. She preferred they be honest with her while she stood there and looking over what she had the last section of it all. The fire was where she was looking, her movements changing while she was working on her own energy. It came from the breath but instead of letting it expel and enter... You pushed it out. Through out the length of the body to seep into the muscles and warm them, to excite the air around and make it hum with vibration as you fire off shots few others have seen or dealt with. Matsu brought her hand up and out as she breathed in deeply and exhaled through her nostrils lines of white smoke. The fire in her belly growing and just like she had learned with Jeela in practice one had to be careful. One had to not let emotion become a part of it while she was moving and the fire spread across the skin. She could feel it warming her from her core outwards to the deepest parts of her body. The limbs were loose and relaxed, feverish even now that she moved around the small arena and focused. The energy from her crew while their eyes were upon her, the energy from the force feeding into her as it revitalized her to rise up and become strong and stronger. She was ready to begin.

She could feel it and moved, her fists ballsing until the knuckles were white, her body tensing a little as she stood still with one foot in front of the other and moved forward striking out with a jet of flame coming from her knuckles as she kept going forward. Her foot coming up as the fire shot out. Matsu gave it a moment before moving and turning each strike into a bout of flames that crackled and lit up the are. Blue flame going from her hands and feet before she snorted letting two small jets come out. There were other techniques one could use and learn with it while Matsu focused her attentions. She knew how to do a fireball belch and focusing on the fire to become that without burning her throat was a trick, her eyes glowing with the force while she crouched on the ground and jumped turning the four jets of flame into engines to send her flying through the air. The jedi soured high and was kicking with the flame, striking it out as she descended firing a smaller jet to slow her descent, the heat washing over the area. Flight got easier when you knew the tricks to do it and blasting yourself off with fire shaping was one way to get the height to keep it going but there was more and her arms moved in a wide arc sending balls of fire to the different paints as they burned igniting torches. She knew a few more tricks going forward while she was moving and spun around lashing her hands forward while a large jet of blue flame went into the air in a large display.

Next she focused inward, the muscles and flow of energies throughout the body was a powerful technique able to create jets of flame to use but you had to be able to warm yourself. Tapas was strong for being warm but there was a other techniques one could do. Convection was a power thing for heating the skin and making it so others didn't want to touch you. Or use it to escape and protect yourself from extreme heat and fire, she wasn't certain of the extent of it but warming her body up for combat was a power thing to begin with. Something she knew how to do and now she just had to push it much like a telekinetic attack could become raw and powerful with waveform, turning the filter and limits off it for a short time. Her body remained very still as Matsu focused, her inhale sending the force energies throughout the length of her body as the pale skin seemed to sizzle with the moisture in the air. Where it was exposed the ware vapor from before steamed coming off her body until she was moving in a steamed screen with her body pushing it back. The convection making as it pushed out from her body radiating into the sand to melt it together. The crunching of glass below her boots the shimmer in the light that reflected for a time as Matsu spun around slowly sweeping a hand through the ground and making a trail of glass grooves. She was working on the movements now slowly going and going, pushing it to her body.

Now she was moving, the heat still in her body as she pushed, breathing in heavy gulps while looking to make each part of her body on the surface cool down but she had a plan and the heat was becoming more and more focused. Until there were shimmering balls of heat distortion in front of her that she focused with her eyes and tracked a target. The crew member throwing one into the air while Matsu tracked it with her eyes... Then focused sending the energy at it. Combustion balls of energy exploding into the target her threw up as she looked on. Her energies were still focusing and working to make it into a powerful technique but she had a few movements and ideas while going. Another two went up into the air as Matsu focused her feet moving apart and bracing into the ground before she looked at one and it exploded then her head jerked as she focused on the other one. The explosion came as Matsu gulped in air greedily, there wasn't a great deal of training you could do to prepare for the fatigue of it. You looked and focused on exploding something. It put training into a position of being tired often while Matsu held out a hand and one of the Siren's stood there with a bottle and some of the kolcta tablets. Matsu took a drink and swallowed the geltab feelings its healing juice running throughout her body as she smiled a little.

Her energy was refreshing, the tablets were amazing, combined the juices could restore the body and cure most ailments while Matsu was moving a little. Her body reacting on instinct to bring it all together and she focused. The heat from the convection rising while she lept up and pushed her hands out. Heat bursting forth and pooling in the finger tips before she pushed it into the earth and spread to melt the earth into lava as the stone superheated exploding with the red hot glow of it all. her earth shaping abilities pushing into the earth as she worked to make it go deeper to form a pool. She was working with it and pushed into the heat and fire to shape and form it, the loose melting and cooling earth that was exposed on the surface. Matsu worked to shape it into a disc before it cooled and she blasted it out towards the open air with the wind and curve bringing it back like a boomerang. Slowly Matsu moved back spinning and letting her hands take the fire in before she opened her palms sending jets of blue flame into the air and twisting. Her arms moving as the flame trailed around crashing into the ground like two whips, her energy spiking while sending the deep blue further out to get looks and attract the attentions of the others in the temple. The small show attracting them to the groups side now that she was there. The interest was nice for Matsu and they didn't care as she stopped bringing it all it and holding the flames in a blue near her chest before firing it all towards the sky with a wave of energy.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
The energy within her felt looser, easier to access. This was a great warmup as Matsu was looking at her crew and what they could offer her. She turned to see one Saeko and spoke. "So was the trip everything you hoped for?" Standing there taking it all in she gave a small pose mostly to stand in front of the large valley while the sight and sounds of the jungle below came to her. The engineer had more equipment and her Jun-La was there as Matsu stood near it. Equipment on its back and he was loaded up as was the speeder and jeep. The siren's were in the gunner seats of the two vehicles sharing a mind and a bond that would make their skills to coordinate what was happening work well. Their drivers were the Mandalorian vetran with his gleaming armor and equipment while she looked it over. They had brought some of the equipment from Chai La that Basaba and the mandalorians had sold to the Silver Jedi or just traded. The Horak rifle was while heavy very nice for defending against some of the larger predators, the different blades were great for dealing with problems as was the armor designs they presented to be used. Matsu was looking at the pieces that had been brought with her and she had worked on some of them. With maya and on other missions but the sections needed more work, more care and shaping to get the metal just right. That was one of the reasons she was here, the spiritual elders of the blue nation knew how to consecrate and bless equipment which was what she wanted.

Matsu looked over it, the jeep has Syrena on the gunner, Saeko in the passenger and Coda was driving with his armor. The equipment and gear in the cargo space for them as well as additional weapons holsters and setup to be used. Matsu noted the red eye probe droids and they were tied to the datapad. The Cloud car was built for four and filled with more gear as Nautica was on the gunner, Asami sat looking over the weapon systems in the back her sadness at the massive death of her people showing in her face, Obullete was in the passenger side of the speeder as her datapad and equipment shined and Zandria sat in the driver seat, her armor hissing as she breathed but a small smirk could be felt on her face. They had all the food and things needing to be kept out of reach while also more of the scout equipment. Sniper rifles and then Matsu looked at her half sister Saia sitting atop the Jun-la with their equipment and tents. The massive ten person tent designed to give them an advantage while the remotes and auto turrets could be attached to different surfaces. The sound of her amphistaff slithered while she let it wrap around her arm while Harmony and her pet ami Mrrew stood there to the side. The replica droid was many things but able to stand out was a big one, she wasn't made for the jungle but held a DC rifle on her back, a scatter gun on the small of her back and a quietsnipe she could fold out with it.The shatter pistol on her hip was a great thing as the large mouse smiled. There was the ones transporting them as Shi-gal stood tall and proud. The Del-Ya making a face of enjoyment with Harmony on her back and her large wings pumping. She could carry a lot.

That was the nice thing and the droid was the only real weight as they set out, Matsu climbing up the mounted creature and taking her seat in front of her half sister. The reigns of the creature coming to her while she closed her eyes, the force whispering to her as she reached out with it and focused. Allowing it to go everywhere and search, they were looking for scraps, for the small pieces from the past and different metals while Matsu was riding off down the mountain. The sound of the other following came to her low and at a rumble, the hum of the air as the repulsor lifts displaced it the crunching of gravel and dirt as the jeep went over, it the air being beaten from the flapping of wings. She was going down the length of the mountain and followed by the caravan of misfits and rogues who worked to make things within the silver jedi a better place. They had all the things she needed and liked while her own equipment bag containing the helmet was there. She looked at it and the piece of fluff coming out of the helmet. It wasn't something powerful or to great but golden gleaming armor that could retract into her neck guard was a great place to start and observe. She would find parts she needed to reshape the armor of astrion callus and turn it into something that was a beacon for the jedi order. She had plans with it, she had ideas of what to use it for and it all started here, in using the consecrated earth to forge and reshape the metal.

The trip into the jungle brought a whole new series of sensations, Matsu could feel the life teeming around them. There was the sound of streams and nature but more then that there was the feeling of the life. So many creatures that were deep in the earth as Matsu went over the ground on the Jun-La its large legs making the vibrations more the easy to take and avoid. Its stride cover large portions of the ground while it navigated through trees and over a small creek. There was evidence of some of the larger creatures of the Asobi system here for all to see and she was taking it all in. Her energies in the force expanding out while the other came and they came into a larger trail that led the way with some of the creatures running from predators. "A game trail" A great place for predators to thin the herds but also to see the different forms of like on the planet. There was so much that had been brought over the years she was more then glad to see the great circle for life when a rancor attacked a large nerf. The claws pulling it off the trail while other creatures moved around it, the creatures didn't eat more then it needed at a time. They weren't going to be attacked unless they tried to attack it or take the food while they were moving off down the trail following Matsu and she was following the force letting it guide her actions while roaming. There was no rush, they had enough food to last them for several weeks and even more with the force and food cubes working the right way. She was leading the way off towards the mountain with its heart and one of the older temples they could work in. Maybe find some ancient sword to use in the pieces of her own.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Their encampment was something to see, the group quickly getting out and prepared, no wasted efforts, no talking unless needed to. The Siren's working with Saeko to set up the defense perimeter with the small turrets and remotes, then a small grid of lasers. There were several motion sensors built and designed to keep them protected and safe at night when it was all done and a biometric sensor to shut down different sections but not the entire thing. Matsu was looking at the trees and the ground while they cleared some to make a fire pit, the tents going up so they could sleep and camo canopies designed to obscure from the air going above them. The ugh for them to share but have their own space, a research tent with a table and stool so that she could look over things. Matsu had planned out many of the aspects but there was still so much more to do while the grid went up, Harmony speaking and showing the displays for them. Her equipment set up in cases then covered while the fire pit around them was able to be uncovered and covered by a large cover when it wasn't in use, nothing displayed that would give them away. "The place looks very good, nice work." The sounds of agreement and drinks being poured while they took seats around everywhere was a great thing she was going to start liking. They had spent the day getting ready, traveling and her own training... That was a tiring things to do and not something you just ignored if you wanted to last for a long time. She had to restore her energy and relax which was going to happen with the dried food they presented. Some getting cooked but minimal fire for now.

There was a great sense of purpose now, they had a plan for the most part... refined through journeys with the others, with Matsu and Anastasia, Jeela and Aika. All those expeditions that had forged a family and crew into something far more enjoyable. As Matsu sat there looking over all of them the enjoyment they had was equal with the food. Jokes were being told, friendships continued and over all there was a general sense of optimism for the group. The war and foreboding feeling she could feel in the distance was gone as Matsu withdrew the helmet, the gold gleaming piece was thicker and not made for her but they were stoking the fire and she knew how to heat it up. Shaving section of the steel away from it and making it to her measurements would be easier but still a challenge while she moved setting her helmet in the fire. The shell started to glow hot from it all before she sat back down and looked at the food stirring some of it for herself but mostly looking at the Jun-La that sat there, its nose sniffing the air and all the food that she was feeding it. An As-Aki was there for her to see fluttering around as it landed on her shoulder and was vibrating her wings together in the revelry that was taking place. She wasn't going to send her away the little forest creature just danced with some of the sugar in her hand while she ate it.

The food was great and the others as the night went on slowly trickled away until Matsu was in her tent with the notes and charts, easily able to fit in her containers and storage crates they had for the ships. IT was a useful thing while she was moving off towards the bed. Harmony was there and shutting things down as the Siren's were the last ones to go to sleep. Their guard duties going away while the turrets were in charge of protecting them. It wasn't a great deal of protection but they would have early warning should anything nasty really try while the quiet of the night descended upon her. Matsu letting her mind count backwards while she was visiting the realm beyond shadows. Her home away from home it seemed that pushed her deeper and deeper into the pursuit of knowledge. The lake there glowed as she looked under the moonlight, thick vines covering the statues and stone work they had of the temples. What was left over of it she was making a sight to behold, committing each and every step of it into her memories and exploring here in the realm beyond shadows was one thing, exploring here as she had with Hanna had proven to be quite a different story. All the things they had found was strange, the world something broken and off. If the creature could come back it would be there or someplace like in it the galaxy, a strange world with a large collection of mysteries that she was working to understand. As the time ticked away in her head, she didn't know how long was passing away from her body but she had trained and had harmony to awaken her when the time came. Eight hours could accomplish a lot here.

That gave her enough time to move and keep exploring, Matsu lifted herself up and was focusing on the energies within her mind while she jumped onto a small log, her hands getting a longer branch to push herself off towards the other end of the water. She could make out the shore and didn't want to fall into the water yet, this wasn't the all important pool of knowledge and wisdom that could make one a celestial. She didn't need that, she was looking for what could come from being here. She was moving back and forth now with a smile on her face as the other side of the lake came into view, the faces of those long lost remaining for memories on the shore and on the surface. It proved a dangerous game and gambit but she had tried to see the ones who were dead at her storms... and nothing. Nothing had seemed to come from it, war was hell and war changed things but there was a level of prevailing presence from the dead. Most didn't care they died and even with her life offered they cared little about her. She was moving her hands before she rushed off the log and onto the shore seeing all of the ones sitting there. Around a fire before she approached and listened to their conversation, some knew where she was going and where she was heading but offered only advice and some ideas. She had a plan for what to do deep down in the mountains, there was the old temple that was the plan but she be able to reform her helmet there, she'd be able to find the pieces for a blade there to show her growth. Matsu woke up to the alarm going off and Harmony bringing her back to consciousness.

Stepping out of the tent in the morning, the jedi was greeted by the sounds and images of everyone ready and geared up. THey hadn't packed the camp.. not all of it at least. There was still somethings up but the trip to the ruined temple would be quick and easier to handle. It was what was there that would determine thing. As for the distance they could bring the equipment and tents over in shifts and that was the plan it seemed. With the first group out using the cloud speeder to transfer most of the things while the rest got set up. Using the mountain and ruins to create a stronger perimeter and the buildings themselves as protection. Matsu started to get her explorer's suit on as the duraplast plating for the armor would protect her from rocks, the bodyglove sealed in case of water or temperature change. Her helmet and gloves made but not intrusive. She had a great setup for handling things it seemed while the equipment pack slung over her shoulder and back. Then Matsu was walking off towards the mountain while the Siren's and Harmony walked with her, a droid and two warriors was always a welcomed team to take into a ruined dungeon filled with who knows what. It brought her attention around as Matsu looked at their weapons. Using the Horak and DC-17 weapon platforms so they could have several weapons without needing to carry all of them. Smart way to go about it while Matsu checked her rifle and saber clipping them where needed while the datapad on her wrist marked where they had been moving things as part of relocating into the ruins at day break.

The stone work was there, worn and ancient, paled colors that had slowly been washed away by the rains and passage of time. Nature had reclaimed it as Matsu walked by herself and stood in the center of two rooms, her boots squishing in the soft mud, her nose breathing in the scent of early morning dew. There was the first indication of blooming flowers while she was moving a little more. A hand coming out while she touched the slick wall coming away with vegetation, water and a sharp scent almost like mint. The jedi was taking in more and more of the place while she walked looking up above at all the shadows being cast in the early morning light. They needed and were working on the equipment as her research tent was set up in one of the room, the place being cleared out of predators just in case while sonic fences and emitters were placed around some of the things. They had a more secure section to defend and easier placement of the turrets, natural camouflage that would protect them from some of the creatures above and Matsu looked at the creatures that were scattering and they were rather cute as she took them in. Her enjoyment of the situation only marred as she was somewhat pining for Hanna to be here. The Hapen woman she had asked to be hers had accepted and that made her rather excited while she held the helmet. Her golden one replacing the one that came on the armor while they were putting the parts into it.

The helmet slid on as it was finished, the shaving of the metal had lightened it, the fresh coating of polish making the golden armor gleam while Matsu secured it to the suit. It was designed for her body now as the systems started coming up on the display, the essex visor the best way to go she had found as it contained everything she needed. Access to her notes and research while she was looking over older maps and scanners in the armor. "Alright lets head down." She was taking the Siren's in their full combat gear with their weapons now while Saeko stood with her engineering kit and equipment. Harmony would remain up top to monitor the equipment and screens, the others would finish setting up and the deeper they were planning to go and more Matsu was thinking they might need a few other things. The mute sisters looked at each other shaking their heads not thinking of anything else they might need but they had everything in the equipment packs and utility belts. Matsu took a deep breath again while she started moving towards the entrance of the temple ruins. There was no light while they activated glow rods. The low light vision of their helmets illuminating as much as they could see before she was walking carefully feeling the small bits of stone crunch underfoot. She was prepared to head down into the belly of the mountain and further if they found anything. Who knows they might end up getting lucky as she was moving off towards the end of the path that was cast in faint light. Turning back around there was dim light but a notable temperature drop.

Exploring into the ruins, Matsu was focusing her eyes. The helmets systems were great for navigating the low light but more then that she was focusing her eyes to make out the shapes and features of the stone. It was cooler and smooth with less plants around which was a good thing while some of the torch sconces were able to be seen. Even some of the oldest lights that were used would still prove useful while she was going through it. Her hands running over a wall as she was looking within the force. She could feel the walls of the temple and there it was, in the stone and mortar the tiny crystal dust from force crystals. A great way she was guessing to improve the place to make it hum with the force for a religious order. At least at first, the newer ones she had seen had larger crystals for focusing which was a far better way to do things for force users.... She still liked this feeling as she pushed the force into the walls, resonating and searching within it to go deeper and deeper into the temple. It was deep within the mountains going down to much like the majority deeper temples, catacombs and carved roads. The moons were honeycombed with them creating a network throughout the planets and moons one could travel by for their own interests. Matsu was going to use i to find creatures while she was grinning to herself and walking finding spme manuscripts and scraps of metal with pots. "Oh I wish Hanna was here."

She couldn't believe what they were looking at, she had moved through the room and the large crates were broken. "These look like artifact crates places would use for storage." She said it to the siren's who were prying open the crates, their knives gleaming in the low light of the glow rods. They opened the one and packing peanuts came out as Matsu picked some of them up. The foam old and flimsy as she touched it, her eyes going to the statues of several Go Nagai that stood tall over bowing servants. From what they had been learning from the other reports of these creatures their powers were beyond belief at times and could rip apart fleets. Not a pretty sight to behold but she had seen one level a building with the force. They were weak afterwards but their power could not be denied as their soldiers fought with those large bugs. She wasn't going to enjoy all of it but she had to admit they knew where their power laid and they knew how to protect their minds. A natural defense it seemed being harder to mind trick when you are of two minds on everything. Matsu kept looking at it and touched the stone, it was cold to the touch while she ran a hand along it. If she had skills in psychometry she might have been able to see something but for now all she was getting from this was a cold feeling but the statue itself wasn't alone. There was some datacrons and manuscripts there detailing where it was found. They had been digging and found one of the temples the underground dwellers had built. Those creatures lived deep in the worlds the system had.

"Looks like we are going down." This was an example of their artwork back before... back when they had a culture and a life outside of building and caring for the tunnels. She couldn't understand fully what was happening to them but she was looking it all over. She had a few thoughts but looking at their helmets reflecting the glow rods the jedi had to grin and nod her head. They might not smile, or speak, or seem to have a sense of humor but they enjoyed combat and taking them into a fight was a strong way to handle most of the situations as she was looking at the statue and deeper into the mountain with the force. Her energies dancing and pushing outwards while she was moving to start to head down. "Harmony, we are going down deeper but tagging a location here, there are crates of statues and artifacts from temples it looks like." The human replica droid chimed in with acknowledgement. "Understood master, we'll begin cataloging it for you." Matsu gave a nod as she started the pathway down, the stone giving way to less carved and more organic tunnels where the ceiling vaulted into higher and higher areas she couldn't make out. The roofs gone but the echoes of their footsteps resounded louder and louder it seemed as they got deeper into the mountain. The sound in the middle reverberating off the sides more and more until the group stopped as Matsu was looking over her shoulder. The glow rods were there but they had started using stronger lights to illuminate the pathways ahead. She was switching the amplification of her helmet up higher and higher.

The chamber they entered was freezing, the air had dropped and it became more silent. The helmets were picking up the sounds of skittering across the stone while the glow rods died out and Matsu was pushing her senses. In the force she could feel the life around them, there were the dwellers. The creatures they had discovered in the deep tunnels and in the dark, they hated the light, they hated sound and attacked just about everything. She didn't want to face them on their own turf with the advantage being theirs but there was no choice. This would just mean they had to work at it as she moved about slowly making the force in her steps to muffle her foot falls. Matsu was moving now, letting it go faster and faster as she heard it then, a piercing sound that alerted something was coming. She grabbed the rifle on her back and held it as the lights went on. Shots rang out as the creatures snarled their fangs bared and crude weapons coming to bare, they were moving while Matsu jumped falling into a step with the Siren's. Their combat expertize coming to fight and go at things, they didn't need a third wheel but they were used to making fire teams with other less experienced people. She was one of those but wasn't going to activate her lightsaber as the Liran Saeko came up with one of the rifles using the light to give them more lines of fire while she fired off a ball of purple plasma that illuminated the area. Matsu's eyes took it all in as the creatures were snarling and now she really moved her mind reciting a mantra to keep her calm and at the ready for fighting.

Her rifle clicked empty, the DC was a great thing but ammo was something she didn't always like and moving now Matsu slung it back over her shoulder. Her hand letting the slick metal come. Her hand feeling the crystals and the pulse of the lightside from the crystal within it. The pontite and solari building her up as she pushed the force into it to activate the blade. Sap-Hiss the room lit up with the whiteness of the blade, burning hot and pure as the lightside she could feel exploded with the plasma having a sight to behold. Matsu brought the blade to her hand as she gripped the hilt with both hand, the end of it coming to her while she let her eyes adjust, let her breathing even out and then the sounds of her mantra came to her head. "There is no emotion, there is peace." Her body moved, the blade slashing the sound of her heartbeat remaining even within her ears. The sound of blood pumping and pushing throughout her muscles. The moment of resistance as the blade met flesh then nothing slicing through. "There is no ignorance, there is knowledge." She brought her foot up, the kick sending a ripple in the light of the saber and weapons fire. The distorted force energy as it sent a kick down pushing one of the creatures into another. Her body swinging as the blade sliced up into the leg of another creature. "There is no passion, there is serenity." She could feel it, the small rising of her heartbeat, the push of more blood into her ears. Her muscles were feeling the force energy push through them while the expansion and contraction pushed her into and through another. "There is no chaos, there is harmony." Her mind was still at peace and just like in the cave on Korriban when she defied Kiskla or the jedi to rehain her connection she had stayed calm, had stayed at peace. "There is no death, there is the Force." She stopped spinning and crouching low as the second blade came out and activated, another snap hiss, another white beam of light that brought a solari crystal and its energy into her hands. She could feel the force while looking around at the bodies. There were more sounds in the distance.

She was moving with them, in tandem while Saeko checked the datapad. With the twin sabers activated Matsu ran across the room casting it in light to reach the end while the shots rang out. They had the advantage now more then anything pushing forward into the tunnels while they went down. Some of the bugs had joined attracted to the sound as they attacked anything that was moving. Their holes one of the things they were setting some of the grenades into to detonate and seal up. Didn't need more of these dangerous creatures coming at them. They needed to find the female who was directing this group of them deeper into the tunnels while they were moving. Matsu spun with her blades and launched herself up into the air ascending the waterfall for a moment before coming back down into the center of the melee slashing and using the force to keep herself moving faster then the others. She wasn't going to stop until the dangerous parts were taken care of and that was the wish in the end at least. The sounds of the Siren's reloading as the horak rifle fired off again a sonic shot rupturing the underbelly and organs was something she didn't like hearing but it was needed before a shot sizzled past her head. Matsu was looking over the things coming onto her blade and seeing the marred faces where the dwellers eyes were at one point. Now they were gone and into an alcove while the four reloaded their weapons. Matsu held her sabers to the entrance so they could see if anything came at them.

The wait seemed to go on forever as her breathing came out in greedy gulps. Sucking at the rebreather to get filtered fresh air, her heartbeat pounding in her ears. The feeling of her muscles remaining tense and at the ready to strike as Matsu was moving towards the entrance more and more. The sound of confirmation grunts from the Siren as Saeko just gave a nod of her head. She was prepared, she was at the ready and right now when they started moving the jedi saw it. The tunnel was quiet again while the pounding of blood in her ears subsided lower and lower, Matsu pushed herself into an open chamber as they looked. Large caverns illuminated by the faint glow of some glow bugs bunching together, she looked at the lightsabers beams casting light down while she moved. There was the sound of the small creatures running around, the dripping of water with hisses from the tova with their gleaming scales and teeth in the mud. The jedi was working to avoid the dangerous hang ups that would come from it before she slashed taking one of the creatures heads, another movement and the small running eels moved off the rocks scrapping against the armor while she spun around launching herself into the air. The sounds from the sirens as they were firing into the grounds with larger and weaker shots but never the less deadly against these creatures. The body of an Ami was there and her boot squished through the remains while they were moist from the mud and water. Matsu lept away slashing as a large bug came, in the distance she could feel the rumble of a Grn as it tunneled ignoring them. She was looking for the female dweller to stop it if the thing became to much of a problem. They might not come up often but they did sometimes to steal things that smelled like food.

She was letting her eyes flesh blue now, under the armor as they came out. Matsu could sense it ahead and jumping down into the cavern she was letting her sabers illuminate the ones around her. These beasts were larger more bulky... protectors maybe to the female as there were less of them and only so many got around. They seemed to be quite large compared to the others as she let her saber slash through a stone pillar it felling with a rumbling crash as one of the dwellers went squish, she spun throwing the saber with her blade landing into one of the dwellers and sending him back with the force as she pulled bringing it to her hands. She brought the blade back to her while moving down low as the one siren fired a grenade off. The flashbang illuminating the area for a brief moment as her mind took it all in before the visor polarized to protect her. The force working to compensate for it with the ringing the audio receptors were working to protect her. The armor, the force and her were one as an extension while the Siren's did the same, her engineer shouted more in surprise but fired off a shot blindly as she stayed to the side kicking at things. Matsu moved to help and calm her letting the scent come to her nostrils, she could feel it in the air but there was more... It was a feeling in the force as she looked and moved ducking under a tendril that came, there was a scream and she could see the grotesque figure of the female that was snarling and larger then she had ever thought. "That hardly even seems fair." Matsu said it while standing there and looking at the thing, it was ugly and she was guessing another reason why the males of the species went blind but it was also stationary... The thing could move only slash at them with meaty tendrils from its huge form.

She was moving with it, the tendrils a threat but more important the snarls and screams from the large female would attract more things, if not the males then the bugs and the other creatures that lived down deeper within the planet. Some of them more dangerous with their venom while she stopped and the force made a half image. She could see the tendril swinging for her face as her back bent sending her into a crouch under the limbo pole. Matsu was moving bringing the blades up to slice it into three parts as a howl came. She was looking upon it all, rushing towards the creature while the arms flailed, her body moving with the Siren's shooting into it to stun and sever, her engineer switching to her multi-weapon as the cudgel smashed into the wall with the slice wire cutting up some of the tendrils. Matsu lept landing on the massive chest of the creature digging her saber into the meat until she could hear the screaming right in her ear. Her face right next to the females while it spit black bile into her armors face, she slashed coming up into the throat while more black bile came from the wound to make it slick and slippery. Matsu nearly slipped before its jaw smacked into the helmet cracking teeth on the black goo covered golden metal. She slashed deeper driving the blade in before falling forward into the meat and flesh but she couldn't sense anymore life within the creature, its life spilling out while she slipped into the gaping gash she had made and the sabers deactivated. She rolled over kicking her feet while the sounds of the siren's were there as she was looking at them.... "Help." She said it softly while struggling then was being lifted out, her armor covered in black goo while she couldn't sense or see anything with the light they had.

Emberlene's Daughter, The Jedi Generalist
Matsu blew out a long breath, the rebreathing hissing in the helmet but she was wiping at herself. The siren's had gotten her out of the goop, they had taken care of her and now she was moving a bit with confidence. Checking the area and around the female. She had gathered things, the males bringing it down and if it looked valuable while she was sifting through it. Taking what might be valuable or useful at the least. She found some metal shards that could be used and some rocks, diamonds and crystals from broken pottery. She was gathering some it it while they looked and moved now. The tunnel leading down into a wider and more open section. Matsu looked her Siren's over as the lights from their guns illuminated the pathway down. The dwellers that appeared were running away and they came to a large city. More things within it that got a nod of her head in approval. Matsu could see it for what it was now as she stood off the the side. The forge in the mountain the priests were talking about, the forge they had used in ancient times.. What they had neglected to tell them about was the creatures in the tunnels but tracking them wasn't always easy to do compared to others and many of the places. Matsu checked all her seals thinking she could smell the black blood that was smeared on her armor. She was looking at the large section where they could build and create, where they had partially destroyed stairs while glow rods were tossed in to illuminate the sections. Matsu started moving jumping down and letting the force cushion her fall while she checked sensors not finding things and the ground. "Spread out and secure the forge."

The Siren's were moving double time up the stairs, finding torch sconces they began lighting them. There was oil in a cask as the light shone around the ancient forge, covered in cobwebs and black soot. Matsu was moving through it all while she touched a few sections of the place, removing her helmet as the last of the torches were lit then the furnaces themselves. The ancient things still holding ashes while the Siren's protected Saeko who was putting some jellied fuel there. They didn't have coals or wood to burn but the heat could come from the fuel as it settled in letting her have a small grin on her face. Removing her helmet while the light cast shadows around the chamber they were in. There were many more dancing as the four stood there getting it oiled and ready for use. Matsu removed her helmet and set it on a table with the equipment pack going to the table, her things she had gathered following suit while the metal was on the table. Enough with the crystals and gems she could touch with her hands. Matsu was working on the thoughts of what she could make with them but there was more needed, more materials she would need to really make the blade into something special. That was going to be the real trick in the end as she was plotting it out in her head. Saeko working to get the forge up and running as parts of it started the grinding there for a moment an then going away... Matsu smiled again now looking and wiping the table off to lay everything out while she brought out some glow rods and an image caster. "Harmony, lock onto my signal and start moving toward us, we have made a path and if we can secure it with the sensors and fences we can start the process of at least reclaiming this small section of the tunnels on this moon." She looked up and saw the droid give a nod of her head. "Understood master, we'll begin making a path to you with a sensor and sonic grid for protection."

Matsu was looking at it now, waiting while it started up and the sounds of the party were approaching. She could see them on her datapad as Harmony was mapping and setting up a route, a better route with the sensors and fencing. They could make a secure path, not reclaim the entire planet but a section of tunnels was easier to protect and with the right lighting most of the deep creatures wouldn't come close. They could repel them with light and sonic attacks. An hour past and Harmony approached her, their speed coming through faster since they weren't fighting and the droid able to move quickly through seeing in the dark. Larger lights were brought with generators of the lights. They started going on as sonic fences were put throughout the cavern. Matsu was looking over it now as the time ticked away and they finished setting up. Moving deeper into the mountains had been a smarter idea, a smarter fight but more then that now she could start the real process. The golden helmet she had set down going into the raging fire to glow while she grabbed hammers and tongs. The ancient tools of the forge still intact and their metal cool to the touch. She brought a visor for her eyes as the lens polarized to protect her sight. She grabbed the helmet and pulled it out, the components removed so it was only the golden metal gleaming. A small smile on her face while she lifted it to turn the helmet seeing the crude purple fluff burn away and she could smell it. The helmet would need to be reshaped to her body, she had gotten it good but it was also best to have it be ready for the right equipment. She had thoughts of what could go into armor and into her suit when she finished.

Matsu looked at the white hot helmet, her hands protected from the heat while the ancient tongs and hammers came to her. She started working on the, she started pounding onto the metal as it rang out in the chambers. Reverberating while Matsu focused more and more. her body pooling the force energies, her mind lifting and searching for it. She wanted to touch the metal to strengthen as she poured the force into it. She had been a jedi master before, she still remembered and those skills didn't disappear, those skills merely changed. In her case into something more as she had found the limits on her body and mind disappearing, she didn't bend the metal as it wasn't really there. There was the atoms and the molocules, the parts that made it as she pushed the force in to slowly touch each of those to make them stronger, to weave a lattice of force energy throughout it. She wanted this armor section to like the rest become something stronger, Harmony added the rest of the metal as she slowly pulled it away dropping the helmet into the liquid metal. More sounds while ice was applied and the cubes caught on fire being so hot. "Fire and ice." The truest way to make a blade strong wasn't with one element or the other but with both working together as well as the force and the forger. She could do it, she could push more of the force into the armor sections while it glowed white, the metal going deeper as she worked to fuse and bond it. To make the armor into something more with it hardening towards being what she needed it to be. Matsu pulled it back hammering the metal into the shape, the space for the visor gone while she held it up looking at the section where she starred into the future section for the visor. "Coming along nicely."
