STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Torrin has been, even from a young age, a quick learner. Normally, given enough time, he can figure most things out without the help of others. Mostly when it comes to computer of any type, he loves to tinker with them, learn how they work. From a young age he took an interest in them and has become quite versed in the art of creating, using, and bypassing computers. He was also quite a bit more skilled than the other younglings he was raised with, ahead of them by years in terms of learning the force, and even using a lightsaber ( though he never was a fan of the weapon. )
Because of his affinity for learning, he developed quite an arrogant attitude, one that needed constant work as he grew older. This arrogance lead to a downfall in his progress as a Jedi due to Jedi Knights and Masters believing him to confident to give himself to the force. He harbors bitter emotions because of this, feeling he would make for an excellent Jedi, but denied until he was older. As he grew older, he fell behind when it came to using weapons, and eventually the other Jedi began to outclass him time and time again. He never took his training too seriously, but, he always proved to be a sharp enough mind to get out of battles.
APPEARANCE:
Torin wears the traditional Jedi Padawan braid and wears simple robes from the Jedi Temple. He does not stand out in any way, keeping his head shaved close, and he has no distinguishing features. His eyes are a very neutral blue that seem to thrive and look better in the sunlight, but they do not stick out. He is in shape because of his constant training at the temple, but, he looks smaller and less threatening than most Jedi.
BIOGRAPHY:
Torin was born on Bespin to a wealthy merchant family. He was taken at birth by the Jedi, and thus, never met his family. This would be the focal point of his early childhood as he always longed to know what they were like. He knew he was from Bespin but he had never heard mention of his parents. Over time, he decided he would discover them on his own, no matter what the cost.
Torin proved to be a quick learner and was quickly the best among the younglings at the temple. Though, as he grew older, his natural talent could not keep up. Others his age could easily best him with a saber and he was quickly left behind. Despite his faults in combat he proved to be a sharp mind and was always the first to answer questions in class and quickly picked up force abilities.
As he grew older, his desire to meet his family, his arrogance, and just general disobedience to the Jedi Code proved to be his downfall in receiving a master. For a time he mostly did work around the Jedi Temple, never faulting in his studies, but often being overlooked for a Jedi Master. Despite this, he refuses to accept failure, and will become a Jedi Knight one way or the other.
