BIOGRAPHY:
Torin was born on Kuat to an aristocratic merchant family. His parents were old money and somewhat callous leading Torin to grow up believing that things should be handed to him simply because of who he was and that he could do whatever he pleased. Despite that, Torin showed a talent for engineering. He eventually was accepted into a program working at the Drive Yards, designing life support systems. As he was male, he was ineligible for inheritance rights of his family and his parents arranged a marriage with another noble house, the Vercets. Torin does not love his wife, Olivia, but the arrangement allows him to live a life he was accustomed to and have a certain leeway with extramarital affairs provided he is discreet. They have 2 sons and a daughter.
