Torren comes from a wealthy and highly respected family, known for using their wealth for the benefits of others and raising incredible capital on behalf of noble causes. He was a rather odd child, very quiet and did not seem to enjoy being around people. He inherited his father's business empire at the young age of 18 after a tragic accident ended his father and mothers life and has since then developed an impressive galactic-spanning empire with far reaches into many categories and industries.
