- Siphons the Force/Life from individuals when close to the totem. Effect is dramatically increased when suffering from Force Psychosis, or in direct contact with the Totem.
- All in its Might: The Totem, much akin to various lores, mythologies and religions, is a physical representation of the spirits, or elders that have long since passed. So the namesake is rather familiar and its functions are not that far off from a known canon artifact of the same man. Marka Ragnos's Scepter was known to be able to absorb the life and force from others around it. However, it had been destroyed many years before this artifact had been found by Lazarus upon the planet of Yavin 4. The last known spotting of his soul.
- Tainted Love: Those that find themselves within the influence of the Totem can slowly feel their powers waning, or feel fatigued. Furthermore, those who are near it long enough will find themselves being affected by a Psychosis where in they believe that everything around them is a lie, should others come near them, they will begin to turn upon one another, even make accusations of the person hiding, lying, or using a False Aura. It also makes those affected have the ability to use the force in strange ways. Utilizing a power in which they themselves previously did not know. What usage is dependent upon how the person reacts to it.
- Tables Turned: The highly corrupt totem is powerful enough that a Light Side force user, or individuals will find themselves falling deeper into the throws of the Dark side. Corrupting them faster and faster the longer they are within the presence of the totem.
- Of the Light: A light Sider who is able to defend against such feats of power from the totem, should they have enough control over themselves, can damage, or even destroy the totem via the usage of force light. However, as the totem is a powerful Force Nexus, it will require multiple Jedi or Light siders to meld or work together to cause the totem to be rendered inert, or even revert.
- Mobility: Its a Massive floating Totem of the Dark Side. Moving this would take nothing less of large ships, powerful force users to retain mental awareness, and more in order to move it onto a vehicle to be transported.
- Voided: As with Void Stones, or Ysalmir, Negation of the force through various means can dampen, or inhibit the area of affect from the totem. A single "pendant" of Void Stone would provide mild protection, A single Ysalmir could protect a number of people. But to stop the source, multiple of one, the other, or both would be required in order to completely nullify the effects. As it is a Force Nexus, its extremely powerful, and thus requires more effort to shut down, than your average force user.
Eons ago during the Great Sith Empire, Marka Ragnos was known as a deadly, and one of the most prominent Sith Lords across the Galaxy. Extremely powerful and long lived. Even after he did perish from the moral realm, he continued to live in spirit. Affecting and taking over the bodies of servants to do his bidding. In his time, he crafted a hybrid of a staff, and a sword called the Scepter. Powerful enough to be almost a nexus upon its own due to its Sith Sword construction, it was later destroyed where upon Marka Ragnos had also been sent back to the Netherworld.
Eons later, Lazarus, a man who searches for Force artifacts, looking for lost knowledge of the Sith before, wishing to better his prowess within the Magics, and Alchemy, stumbled upon this find. A powerful totem with the marks of the Sith lord. Not only in name, but upon further research, found it could perform the same, and even more than this supposed Scepter of Ragnos. Theories of how shards of metal that were missing from this totem, long since showing markings that pieces had been taken from the artifact, may point to it being the source of power for the Scepter. Being the metal that was used for the long since destroyed weapon. More over, it could have been a conduit for Ragnos and his power base. Kept hidden and unable to use since his mortal death.
What is know about it, is that you shouldn't go near it. Otherwise, you may forfeit your own life.
