Touched by Nature

Ah, nature.

Lilin had come to the forest to clear her mind and let go of the crazy life in a city. She loved living where she lived but sometimes living in a huge busy metropolis could have a load of bad effects on her. That was one of these times when she truly, desperately needed to get out of the city and find a place where she could stay for a while, walk and talk and run and jump and scream without feeling like she was tied to anything or being confined by something.

She walked down the forest path with short calmly paced steps and just admired the beauty around her.

The more time she spent fighting against evil in the galaxy, the more did she feel like she didn't have time for anything. She'd come to feel like she couldn't rest at all and even though it was a good feeling for her, she sensed she was just tiring herself and burning her out from the inside.

The thoughts in her head had become dull and compressed and she couldn't feel free at all.

So she'd come to the forest mainly to think. She would enjoy an amazing view and a great hiking trip but that was not the main reason why she'd come. She truly wanted to get rid of the uneasiness fighting and battling had brought to her and actually enjoy life for a moment. To just sit and breathe pure air or to touch a flower on the green grassy ground of a forest -- that's what she wanted to do once again.

Living at Zahat'n'ira had taught her to understand the importance of peace and relaxation in life.

The residents in the village where they lived were able to stay in contact with the nature around them but what was more admirable was the way they remained in contact with their own bodies, souls and minds. They were calm and peaceful, didn't overthink. Life was not an overly complicated thing for them.

And for once, Lilin wanted to feel the same way.

Lamia stalked through the forest. Why was she here? Rumors of Sith artifacts, the ruins of her people. She frowned, giving a soft sigh as she pondered over the future appearance of anything even as she scuttled through the woods, doing her best to remain soundless. Yet a crunch rang out and she stayed silent, looking through the woods until her yellowed eyes caught the sight of someone far away - a human.

Little did she know what this human could do.

Lilin didn't know somebody was looking at her, nor did she know there even was anybody else in the forest. All she really cared of was getting some rest and calming her mind. She could do that without interruption, right? For once, all she wanted was to be away from drama, away from everything so stressful. Living in the territory of the One Sith, she was in constant fear of getting caught; her everyday work, however, dealt with even more evil than just that.

It seemed like there was no way Lilin could just rest and do nothing.

Maybe she could rest -- when she was old and didn't have enough energy to do anything else than resting. She would love that after such a crazy life. Yet something told her she wouldn't live long enough to see such life. Especially with the life she lived, with all these duels she had, with all these battles she engaged in with the rest of the Covenant.

And then she looked away, letting her eyes just eye the view.

Sigh.

Slowly she slipped through the foliage, careful to ensure the high grass concealed her motions as she softly stepped foot on the ground. Her lightsaber was in hand, ready for use in the event that she was a hostile. Still she maneuvered, trying her best to remain unseen - though her eyes seemed a different color from the foliage around.

"Hmm..."

What the heck was that? Did somebody just hum something? Did somebody release a weird sigh? The girl was confused -- she was pretty sure she head a sound coming from somewhere, sounging barely as quiet as a whisper, and there was no way she could locate it. She was not going crazy, she was quite sure about that. But the fact that there was nobody she could see made her feel a little bit uncomfortable.

Was the corruption inside her having effects on her mental health?

She stood up from her seat and tried to take a deeper look around. There had to be some other sentient being nearby who could have made the sound. And she would have to find that being, just to see what was going on.

"Is anybody here?"

Smiling, she slowly moved through the grass, still doing her best to remain hidden as she continued to glance at the woman. When she felt the time was right, she lept up, rolling forward and standing in front of the human - an odd creature. "Who are you? What are you doing here? This is my territory..."

She gave her best frustrated face, but the Sith armor didn't help - neither did the lack of eyebrows.

The red-hued person startled Lilin, but she tried to recover from it quickly. The woman's speech made the situation uncomfortable, especially if the land truly did belong to her and the girl had just come and terrorized the territory. It would have made her a bad person -- something she definitely didn't want to be.

So instead, she took a few steps backwards.

"I'm sorry, but I had no idea this land belonged to anybody," she spoke, her tone pleading and sounding a lot like she was apologizing from the depths of her heart.

That woman, however, seemed kind of familiar. She could definitely tell she'd seen these around, but she couldn't remember where. Perhaps... at Tantorus? The place where Sith Purebloods lived?

"I claimed it." She grimaced, certainly frustrated. "Ever since I was trapped on this accursed world." She silently swore against the planet she stepped foot on within the ancient language of the Sith. "How have you come to this world, human? Are your kind not native to this planet? Have you crashed upon these forests?" She had no idea who Lilin was, or that the Imperieuse family called this world home.

How unfortunate.

"Well, I kind of live here," Lilin noted. How come she'd never heard that these lands were somebody else's private territory? There had to be some kind of a mistake here or and error. Something was not right -- the locals had never told her or her family anything about these lands being owned by somebody, especially oddly, a pureblood.

"I then guess your claim of these lands is not quite official," the girl added, "because we've been living here for some time now."

She looked at the woman with a slight disrespect and an annoyed feel. But if the woman was right about her owning this territory, she could have been in slight trouble. Something she would definitely not have wanted.

"So do I, albeit in no means by my own choice." She sighed. "My craft suffered a crash. I was fortunate enough to survive - I've been here for several months now, subsisting on the local wildlife until I can get off this world." She stared back at the human. "You... I sense great dark power in you. Who are you and how long have you been here?"

Perhaps it was time for introductions.
