When Leetan Aforni stepped off the shuttle on the planet Onderon, his first thought was: By the Force I hate this place. Of course, that was to be expected. The shuttle port he currently stood at was in the city of Iziz, capital of Onderon and thus a big city; Leetan hated cities. Not as much as he hated more enclosed spaces, but enough to want to get away as soon as humanly-or rather Rodian-ly-possible.
Trying his best not to gag at the smells of concrete, iron, and passersby, Leetan made his way through the crowded streets to the gates of Iziz. Outside lay his destination: the forests. His mood perked up as soon as he saw the first tree. He wanted to charge out of the gate and plunge headlong into the beautiful wilds, but first, he had a stop to make. Taking an almost painful detour off the main road, he entered a small building possessing a sign labeled, "Department of Wildlife".
"Good morning my fine sir!" said the Twi'lek at the counter, "How can I help you today?"
"Hunting and resource gathering license, three days max," Leetan replied bluntly in heavily accented Basic. Noticing the Twi'lek's gaze shifting to the HBt-4 sporting rifle on his back, and the DT-12 and hunting knife on his hip, Leetan sighed and presented his permits for the weapons. Doing things legally was tiring, but far less so that dealing with law enforcement. The Twi'lek, satisfied, handed him his licenses. Leetan took them and immediately left, leaving a credit chip behind. Within moments he was out of the gate, staring into the dense forest.
A smile crossed his Rodian face.
