Training can be fun for the whole family!

Hey guys.

So I have had this idea for a while now, so have decided with the event now wrapping up that it will be a good time to implement the plan.

So I don't know how long some of you have been here or you may not have even taken part, but some of you may remember a training mission to Obreedan, led by Tallia Farn. I was a Padawan at this stage and it was a great way for me to both train and build some relationships with other Padawan's at the time.

So what I have in mind is a similar exercise, however instead in a different location.

Kashyyyk

We can play this out like a game of hide and seek. Padawan's will work in pairs or groups while Knights and any Masters attempt to spot them in the dense Kashyyyk forests.

This is still a work in progress and I plan to continue adding info to this page, but feel free to display your interest or offer anyy ideas that we can add. I'll plan to have this up and started this week if all goes to plan. So post if interested and maybe start organising groups.

Alright so we'll play this out on Kashyyyk, with Padawan's working in groups of two's or three's. The groups all start in different areas but all will aim for the same destination with the winner being the first one there without being spotted. Knights and Master's will act as seekers. If one member of the group is spotted then they are disqualified, so teamwork is essential.

Prizes may also be handed out to winners of the exercise, but we'll see how the entire thread plays out. Speaking of which, this is entirely run by the writers, so please try and draw out the story, make it fun and seem realistic. Teams will be given one warning before disqualification if I find that they are moving too quickly.

Kashyyyk

The planet is made up entirely of forest and ocean, with thin coastlines separating the two. The planet consists of only four large continents, with forest resting across the landmasses.
Only one region of mountain ranges exists on the planet, with patches of desert located at the base of these ranges.
The entire planet can be classed as a massive swamp, due to it's moist forest floor, large expanses of water and native flora and fauna, however the Wookiees tend to remain up in the treetops of the Wroshyr trees where they live in large cities resting just under the canopy of the forests.

In Wookiee culture, the veritcal environment consisted of seven levels, with the majority of the Wookiee civilisation existing on the seventh, uppermost level. As you descend down into a new level, the flora and fauna become more hostile, with the environment becoming more dangerous for the visitor. The bottom most level on the forest floor is known as the Shadowlands.

One of the more famous aspects of the planet, is the gigantic wroshyr trees which reach several kilometers into the sky.

Sure, sign me up. Stali has life experience as a former military man, and is felacatian (polymophic felines, if you don't know) - thereby having better hearing, and such by nature - but as a Jedi? Nearly zilch.

Just to reiterate this point, this mission is to benefit Padawans, although Knights and Masters are more than welcome to join, the exercise is supposed to help Padawans develop their abilities as well as getting themselves closer to the rank of Knight.

Those with students, please sign them up for this, I hope for it to be a lot of fun and a great way to build relationships with other Jedi.
