I am a little clueless when it comes to games on a forum like this. Ive spent most of my time roleplaying through DnD or other forums where training is not something people do. Star Wars is obviously different, but I am starting to see a slight oddity while going through and reading posts, etc.
Is training required by the site to become stronger? I see people creating new characters that are generally Padawan's/Apprentices, etc. However, I also see the occasional new account already having the title of Knight or Lord. How does the site rule on these characters?
Obviously, character creation for the website is not moderated in any way, as long as you dont create Palpatine's brother Crapatine or anything. But with moderation not happening, is the site allowing people to create characters that are already knights/have some mastery of the Force?
My reasoning for asking this is quite simple, as I would like one of my characters to actually already be above the rank of Apprentice. Doing so would give me way more roleplay opportunities, and would allow me to really get into the meat of playing. Furthermore, finding a master to train your character seems spotty at best, and wonderfully understaffed at worst.
Is there an official ruling on what rank we can start our characters at?
