Traitor

Planet: Unknown
Time: Unknown
Location: imperial Interrogation Facility
For every problem the Empire had, there was a solution provided by the Inquisitors. enemies were assassinated, Rebels were dismantled, and traitors were executed. Of course, the duties of the Inquisitor were not always based around death and the ability to destroy. In fact, quite the contrary. The primary duty of the Inquisitor was to destroy the threats to the Empire, yet the best way to do that was with knowledge, not death.

That was what brought Krieg here today. Knowledge.

The halls surrounding him were shadowy and unlit, forcing his optical sensors to remain in their night-vision mode. 27-Beta, that was the designation this facility was known as. No name, just a number and a letter, to add to the surreal feeling one already got from the facility.

The shadow of the hall was quickly broken when a red light spilled into it. Glancing up at the source of the light, Krieg's optics finally rotated to their regular setting. The red hue had come from a single light above a guarded door. An Imperial Stormtrooper glanced over to Krieg, snapping to attention as he came into view.

"Sir." The soldier acknowledged, his heels clicking together softly.

"Is the prisoner prepared for interrogation?" Krieg's sharp tone cut through the metallic voice he was forced to use.

"Yes, sir. We've kept her in good health, per your orders." The Stormtrooper said, gesturing to the door beside him.

"Take a lunch break, Corporal." Krieg ordered, watching as the man did not hesitate to leave his post.

Krieg glanced over to the door, adjusting the duty cap sitting on his metal helmet before sliding his code cylinder into the nearby port. A few mechanized clicks sounded from the door before it finally slid into it's host. Stepping inside of the room, Krieg's metal boots impacted the floor, making loud tapping sounds as he strode into the interrogation chamber. Suspended on the interrogation table, was Sara, an Imperial pilot who defected some months back. Krieg and his men had captured the woman and now here she stood awaiting interrogation.

"Guten Morgen." He said, tapping a button on the wall to have the door slide shut.

"Sara Lee Jones. Former pilot in the First Order, Former Imperial Pilot....defector. My name is Inquisitor Krieg Merriden of the Imperial Inquisitorious. I would like to ask you a few questions."
