Private Tranquil as the Heavens and as Fast as Lightning

After everything that he'd been through, so far, including running into an empowered Adeline in the depths of the Coruscant underlevels, Raphael had finally gotten an important assignment. Near the beginning of the renewal of the war with the Sith Order, a Jedi Knight had been sent to investigate a dark side cult on a planet in the mid-rim. They were supposed to be investigating it for potential sith connections but then, not but a few rotations ago, they'd stopped broadcasting.

In the interest of keeping more planets from potentially being controlled by either a sith cult, or directly by the sith themselves, it was necessary to get his logs as well as find and extripate them. The council had thus assigned Raphael and another jedi, one he'd never heard of before, to rescue the Jedi in question. Normally he'd think that he'd be travelling with, and assisting, his master, but he was pretty sure she was still indisposed working on New Cov and the Temple there. It was due to this , that they were dispatching him to assist the Jedi in question.

From what he was led to understand, the person he was meeting would have the full dossier of information and would assist in briefing him on the full operation, when he arrived. He glanced at the information on his datapad, again, and looked over the name and then the planet.

"...Ala Quin... Huh... Never heard of her..." Raphael shrugged, as he climbed into the cockpit of his ship. "It doesn't really matter, though. I'll meet up with her and we'll check on what's going on there... Hopefully the knight in question is still alive..." Lifting off, Raphael suddenly blasted into space, before jumping to the designated coordinates. "Wonder what this Master Quin will be like... Guess we'll have to see..."

The cruiser had been doing what it did...cruising. Ala had been doing what she did, exploring and learning. When the alert came that the Padawan pilot's ship was about to dock, she was up to her armpits in the engine casing, grease covering her face and arms, and looking decidedly thrilled by it all.

"I can take over for you if you wish, Master Quin," said the engineer. He had been so helpful, and willing to teach her. She knew approximately seven times more about engines now than she had a few days ago.

"That would be a good idea, Heel," she said with a crinkled up nose. The grease smelled...well...greasy. And she did not have time to clean up before getting to the docking bay.

She pulled her arm out of the casing, and offered the engineer a farewell wave. He simply blushed and waved back. He seemed so flustered by her at times. It was weird. "I will be back for my next lesson tomorrow, Heel!" She was too far away to hear his reply, if there was any.

When the docking clamps finally hissed, she was still examining the grime all over her hands. When she looked up, smile from ear to ear, she presented the Padawan with the sight of a rather short Jedi Master covered in grease and black soot smudges.

She waved at him with her fingers.

"Helloooo," she said, in the most unserious way imaginable.
