The ground is softer on most places due to the below sea level location of the grove and the incredibly close proximity of the surface to groundwater, often parts of the grove would form into small ponds deep to ankle or at worst knee-level of an average human height. Humidity rises during summer but is barely felt as a sensation during spring and fall due to the so-called Keval Stream - a wind current occurring in these two seasons coming around thirty kilometers from the west where a sea is located. The current is more of a pleasant breeze during spring but can be erratic from time to time during fall.
No predatory creatures live within the grove. Most of the fauna are rodent-like creatures who live on the trees and flee to their little homes upon the sight of any foreign presence greater than its size. My home is my fortress is thematical to these creatures' existence as they build their homes on the higher levels of the trunks in the form of a hole in the trunk itself. They would pick up a rock the size of the hole's opening and keep it inside to shove it in the hole as a wall against intrusion.
POINTS OF INTEREST
- Ancient Stones: Slotted into the ground, around knee or waist-level height of an average human, the stones have clear carvings upon them. Perhaps symbolism of unknown origin. What is known is the strong serene feeling a a Force sensitive experiences in this grove, while non-force sensitives find the Tranquil Grove a restful, relaxing and mind clearing location.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
'Tranquil Grove', which was named by native nature explorers due to its restful feeling, is the home to mysterious stones slotted into the ground with mysterious symbols engraved upon them. Force Users experience an incredibly serene feeling around these stones and find this place a perfect spot for meditation, especially for novices who yet find it hard to concentrate to meditate. Non-Force users also experience a rather peaceful sensation when traversing this grove.
The theories behind the stones are numerous. One which seems to gain most ground recently is the existence of an ancient Force worshipping cult. Whether the cult was knowledgeable in the use of the Force or simply a worshipers' cult remains open to debate. No signs of dwellings remain to hint at any inhabit of the grove eons ago.
Perhaps researchers, Jedi or not, may explore the history of the stones and this place in general.
