Rationale: With the collapse of the One Sith and the slow expansion of the Galactic Alliance in the Core worlds, TransGalMeg, Incorporated began a decline. Even a company as old and established as it could stave off the inevitable only so long. In the meantime, Ceredir Industries was looking to expand: specifically vertical expansion. Korynn Nartano, now the most public face of Ceredir, heard of the decline and convinced the CI owner to privately offer to purchase TransGalMeg. Negotiations with the current owner were short, to the point, and successful.
Description: TransGalMeg Industries, Incorporated started as a mining and colonization firm. To save costs, the firm produced transport vessels which became popular based on their attributes. The company's focus shifted with that success, culminating in a high point of lucrative contracts for major vessels during the Clone Wars. It is a matter of historical record that the company sold to all parties - Empire, Rebellion, and Black Sun - during the Galactic Civil War. During this period the corporation's headquarters were moved to Narg and one of it's major locations, Demophon, was destroyed by a supernova.
The company dwindled in the following years, almost bankrupting during the Gulag Plague. With the end of the plague, the company began to make its way back into the galactic market and initiated a move to Anaxes, and from there Empress Teta. Investments began rolling in, and before long [member="Malos Kas"] had full ownership of the company.
However, the One Sith, one of the major customers of the company, fell apart. The company was left without one of their major sources of income and began to sink once again. It was during this period that Ceredir Industries analysts and management took note and put together a case for purchase of the shipwright. Audren Sykes accepted the proposition and amicably purchased the company from the Admiral, but immediately put some changes into place. The expansion to Humbarine for one, as well as the re-establishment of the mining operations.
