The City of Theed was a vastly beautiful place, the Capital of Naboo and the new center of power within the Confederacy of Independent Systems; With the coming arrival of the Galactic Confederacy, also came a swell of new visitors, trade and commerce to the world of Naboo bustling it's economy and general appeal to the rest of the surrounding nations. Among these numerous visitors was one Danielle Mueller whom had been present for the Coronation of the new Queen and her backing of the Confederacy. It had been a wondrous affair, a celebration that brought dignitaries from many different corners of the navigational charts, and in the middle of it all had stood the girl without a face to the rest of the world. Quaint, humble and yet easily forgettable, she was naught but a civilian and a freshly registered citizen of confederate space at that.
Fifteen years old, no job and only basic military academy training made day to day life rather more tense than most who called afford to live within such a marvelous City; Dee on the other hand had been there only a week and so far had nothing to show for it. She'd been searching for some sort of job that might put a credit chip to her name when she had stumbled upon a care facility for children without homes or parents to love and protect them. In short, it was an orphanage similar to the place that she had been raised in...-Only without the strict military lifestyle.
Over the passed few days, she had come and gone from the outskirts of the building, unable to build up the courage to enter the facility for the memories that it brought and the fact that she had so little to offer. Watching from the tall barring fence of the back section, she had spent more than a handful of hours watching the children play in their breaks, avoiding contact with the adult carers of the establishment yet finding small pleasure in seeing the younglings laughing and getting along. Completely ignorant of the world beyond the walls that kept them safe and sound.
Today however...-Today was the day. Dani had been tossing and turning on the need to see these children up close, stewing on the fact that she could probably relate to the feelings of isolation and abandonment that many of them were probably living with, having no family of their own. She herself could often recall the days spent looking out from the inside as children roamed the neighboring street alongside their parents, and questioning why she'd been so unlucky.
Slowly coming to stand before the entrance, where her confidence might fail her, the guilt of seeing these children and knowing what pain that kind of life felt like had forced her to confront her fears. She didn't exactly know what to expect or what she was going to say to the people that looked after the place and those living within, but even if just for one day she might spend some time with these children and give them a friendly face to talk to...Surely that was better than nothing. Right?
