Transplanting the Seeds

[Matsu Ike]

The preserve and mines on Seltos were a great place for the jedi master to work on different things. She could find some entertainment. The jedi master was working with the miners to harvest what phrik they could get and on how to best transplant and grow nysillin flowers here. Felucia was a great place but the healing flowers were important compared to many of the other ones and she put a lot of stock into them. They could help along with the medical ships they produced despite recent things that showed her its benefit was barely acknowledged. She was looking at more of the things on the scanner showing what their miners were finding.

The flowers were something of a benefit, that they were generally disregarded in favor of kolto and bacta when they could be grown in large quantities and she was happy to be here working on some of the things they had. She looked at all the flowers being brought in with pots and then planted by droids while in the distance the phrik went into the crates for them to have and use. She had been working with sasori to get just that, phrik for some protective armor to wear with her shield when defending to better heal. These things would be able to help in that as well before she let some of her attention go to more of them. "These flowers are beautiful."

Matsu was looking at er and at the flowers as she had to agree to that. They were pretty and could be used for a great many things she hoped in the end.... or at least with more ways as the Sakura healers were working on things and she gave a small look on her face to it. "They are, we are hoping with the right conditions we'll be able to set up farms for them to make more medical supplies available." The only real trick is getting the best uses out of it and finding places where it an be grown across the galaxy.... or well she was thinking about it. Maybe nursery ships they could make.... She'd have to look into it with Phenex.

She was just glad to be included while walking through the area and working on some of the things they had. All of the hard work here to work he land and make a small irrigation system for the flowers to be able to grow and using the converter in the shed would help with all the work that had gone into making it a powerhouse of a manufacturing technology. She wondered if maybe the applications for this can be used to make better things though. Kolto and bacta were controlled by well some people who would likely use it for the most profit and it didn't really serve their end goals to make it cheaper... so new medical applications would always serve a better purpose.

Matsu continued to work with it and keep the force energies going throughout the world for their own benefit as she made some holes in the ground putting the seeds in and helping with the misters to water them.They would be able to grow it here as she rushed off towards the end planting the seeds quickly with a small fence to keep the droids and others away. "That should do it for this row, how does yours look?" Looking back at the padawan as she stood there moving to the next row with a smile then a wide grin that became the best part of it all. The couple ranger's they had were there helping cultivate the land for them to plant faster.

The padawan was moving as she joined the jedi master in quickly planting as many seeds int he rows quickly as could be. All of the work here getting the attraction while some more of the rangers came to help them. She was looking at it when the seeds she had to plant were gone and the girl was moving back towards the droids that were loading up phrik. She could see more of it while bringing up information on one fo the datapads and the drones were hovering around with their attention on most of the things there. "We can get more seeds from your ship and from the farms on Felucia that Sakura have been working on."

"Agreed, we can use the seeds for it all and get plenty of the things for it." She was more then happy to return to the ship and the large supply of seeds they had from the flowers and ever from some of the trees within the ship. Everything the jedi master looked over with the padawan. "Once we have the phrik loaded up we'll check the seeds and get more for the droids to plant. We have things to work on with you though as now new things are becoming avialable with Sasori and we could use your healing skills with our people."

Healing with skills, she could get behind that and with the different healers she had learned from well it made sense as the padawan was moving. All of the things they had going on and all of the work here was just about done for now. The other places for growing the flowers the droids could take care of and get into easier... Which she would need to work on that, attending droids for the gardens they could make on a number of worlds. SOmething to look into so the order got its way when moving throughout different sections of the galaxy. THey weren't usually harassed being unarmed and pirates found healers who weren't worth the ammo they would expend on them so. "More then glad to help and now come lets get the rest done and this phrik moved out master jedi."

Finishing up here with the padawan yielded the best results as Matsu was going into the shuttle. The phrik they had was there in crates, the seeds were planted so they could all grow and provide in time a nice crop of nysillin for them to use. She could continue to produce in the mine and with all the work here from Satochi the preserve would continue to serve a function. All and all the jedi master had to admit she rather liked wht was happening while she sat down and the shuttle was taking off towards the cargo hauler. "You'll be able to padawan use some phrik as you need it, I know your master Corvus was helping you before she disappeared."

"Yes my master was helping me again but something happened and it isn't her fault. Corvus needs time and will hopefully return to make somethinng interesting happen but not going to hold it against her. After seeing a lot of the things that have been hppening I wouldn't blame her for staying away from the galaxy in general or the jedi. Now that they are going to another government." She wasn't certain what she would be doing but having some phrik for herself to use to defend would always come in handy while she was moving with attention to the smaller details of the crates seeing where they were being shipped to.
