Trask was born on Mandalore but was raised in the roaming fleet of Echoylir. He was born Clan Cadera of House Skirata and became Gilamar Skirata's second at the ripe age of 21. Trained in the ancient way of riding Bes'uliik, he was found to be a natural pilot and leader. At a certain point he began running the day to day of Echoylir as Gilamar began to retreat more and more, his 'condition' becoming more prevalent. The man would not age, a curse, he said, from a vengeful Sith Witch who didn't know when to let go. He passed command of the Mandalorian dreadnought, the Ketyadyr, to him and soon, the council of Alors and elders that made up House Skirata determined that the old man should step down so that a new warrior would take his place. There was only one option. Trask took the position, elevating him from Cadera to Skirata.
