SPECIAL FEATURES
- Outer layer is made from blended wool, backed by baffleweave and lattice cloth, and lined with shell spider silk for a cloak that is highly resilient against cold, wind, and rain.
- Strong resistance against blaster pistols, lightsabers, bladed weapons (including vibroblades), and able to confound sensors.
- A tiny activation / de-activation switch, concealed in the left sleeve of the garment activates the photoreceptive fibers woven into the outer layer, effectively creating an active camouflage effect surrounding the wearer. This will bend light around the wearer, causing them to ‘fade’ into their surroundings, and so long as they move slowly or not at all, provides effective camouflage against more standard surveillance and cursory searches.
- Active camouflage system helps to disguise wearer against standard surveillance and cursory searches, causing them to blend into their environment. Useful for hunting, evading, infiltration / exfiltration, etc.
- Excellent protection against blasters, lightsabers, bladed weapons (including vibroblades).
- Excellent sensor-jamming and resistance for the wearer.
- Offers no protection against EMP/Ion threats, sonic attacks, or kinetic damage.
- Active camouflage system is rudimentary by galactic stealth standards; moving too quickly will not allow the photoreactive fibers to properly synch with one’s surroundings and cause the wearer to appear as a ‘blur’.
- Baffleweave layer is difficult to penetrate but advanced sensors will be able to do so fairly quickly and effectively.
Made using the traditional dusk cape design, popular on many worlds, the usually dark brown garment offers fine protection against cold, high winds, and inclement nights, and can serve nicely as a blanket or makeshift shelter if need be. Evasion package combines baffleweave sensor-limiting capabilities with a basic active camouflage system to make hiding, stealthy movement, and moving about undetected much easier. Finally, lattice-cloth armoring and shell spider silk combine to form an effective defense against blasters, bladed weapons, and even against lightsabers. Large pockets located in the front as well as concealed inside pockets, sewn into the baffleweave layering and found on either side of the chest for smaller items, etc.
