He was going to send the boy into the temple to face it's challenges and ether emerge victorious or not at all. At the end of the tomb was a blade, a lightsaber worthy of a Acolyte of Valdra, but to get it he must kill a Terentatek a fowl beast that had eaten it's fair share of Jedi and had been without food for quite a long time.
