SPECIAL FEATURES

• Computer Splicing Module: Each droid is outfitted with a nominal amount (usually three) computer splice attempts. When the droids fail their splices, they must resupply or go through a long rest in order to restore their splicing modules.

STRENGTHS

• + Wrist-mounted Laser: The TAB droid's wrist-mounted laser is accurate, rechargeable, and versatile against a large scope of opponents.
• + Shoulder Rockets: The TAB Droid also has explosive ordinance that packs a punch against light vehicles or small to mid-sized ship hulls.
• + Computer Splicing Ability: If the TAB droid is within touching distance of a computer system, they can attempt to splice into the computer system up to three times, disabling up to three separate smaller systems or one major system.

WEAKNESSES

• * Weak protection against energy attacks: The TAB Droid overheats and fails easily after receiving a few laser slugs.
• * Weak protection against EMP blasts and other types of energy attacks: TAB Droids and electricity don't mix.
• * Slow: These robots are bipedal and do not have thruster technology. They are considerably slower than vehicles and advanced droids.

DESCRIPTION

TAB droids were created by Ova Ziss to help protect the various asteroid mining facilities that he oversees in Dantooine. When Mandalorian pirates began sniping at Ziss's mining barges and miners, he formulated and then deployed TAB droids to take out the pirates or to arrest them and bring them to the authorities. TABs help bring autonomous peace to the Dantooine Space Station.
