SPECIAL FEATURES
- EMP Proof: The Faraday cage built into the internal structrure almost entirely prevents the weapon from being damaged by EMP or Ion attacks, allowing the weapon to be useful against those who might try and get the upper hand.
- Small and Sneaky: Tristan is a relatively small pistol. As a result, it's ability to be hidden away is part of it's design, as a sneak attack against enemy combatants.
- Shake it Baby!: The Pistol, modified from the VSF Shiba by the engineers at Si Tech, has been upgraded to modulate it's frequency to find within a few nanoseconds the perfect harmonic resonance of whatever it hits. While this won't immediately destroy armor, it will rattle whomever is inside, and potentially damage the internals of whatever it hits.
- Sonic Boom!: Tristan is a sonic pistol. Logically, it is loud. Should you be on the wrong end of it, even a sonic dampener will not entirely fend off being deafened.
- Sonic Stream: Once the trigger is pulled, the sonic blast will not end until the trigger is let go.
- Deadly, but Small: This is a pistol. Despite it's design, it was only ever really designed to take on individual combatants, not large vehicles. While it can do damage to larger targets, it's not going to be the winning strategy one might think against them.
- Low Battery: The Pistol only has about a full minute worth of 'ammo' in it's power cell. It's not designed to keep a target stunned for long, and sustained fire can be overcome with enough wherewithal.
Originally a pistol Jonyna had purchased from
Vulpesen
in preparation for a sustained war with the Mandalorian Enclave, Jonyna has prepped it to deal with armored sith and stormtroopers for the coming conflict. Always one to expect the worst in combat, she now preps with the best to fight back the hordes of the dark.The sonic pistol has been modified with an inbuilt droid brain, allowing it to immediately shift it's frequency to shake the enemy out of their tin cans, and give Jonyna the opening to strike back when on the back foot.
