STRENGTHS

• BRRRRRRRRRRRT! - This is not the Sovereignty's weapon but once activated, it will tear into the hulls of almost any ship, given enough time,
• SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE - The TROF was designed purely for anti-armor, the extremely high rate of fire will tear into plating and keep tearing.
• SHREDDER - The "Slugthrower" aspect of it will bring a constant flow of shrapnel tearing apart a target.

WEAKNESSES

• ONE DIRECTION - No turret. This gun can only fire pointed in one direction.
• NOT NOT NOT FOR USE AGAINST FIGHTERS - You'll just waste your ammunition against a good pilot..
• ONE USE - Designed for the "Big Brother" of the Sovereignty gunship. If it were to be put on any other fighter, a complete, extensive(and expensive) redesign would be in order.
• TAKE'S A LOT OF SPACE - Unlike the "ROF" this rotary cannon was designed to be the primary weapon of a new class of gunship and thus is a lot bigger.
• HEAVY POWER USE - Just as it takes up a lot of space, for the weapon itself, and the ammunition, the TROF requires a lot of power as well. The ships' (that will be using this) other systems are already "minimal" because of this, but pilots are required to shut down other weapons systems, as well as long range sensors when using the cannon.

DESCRIPTION
The ROF Rotary Cannon has proven to be an effective weapon for starfighters, especially close-air support. The problem is it is too commonly used. This is a good problem to have, so the designers of the wapon quickly came up with a larger, more powerful version of the weapon when they found out about a special project in the upcoming. The "TROF" is designed speicifically and only for that project. It is designed for close air support and meant to take down heavily armored units, taking pressure off of multi-role fighters like X-wings.
