She is trying to keep control, to keep composure and concentration but that is becoming increasingly difficult around him. And all he was doing was .. flying the ship. At least it keep her mind off the trip, her fear of flying forgotten as she walked his working the control panel. A ship he is well familiar with as it is his own, and Thurion is descending to a small clearing in the midst of a jungle.

Why he chose here? well one would never know if one did not ask. "Why here?", she asked with a smile, not really caring where. But for him this was something more, an unknown planet near Levantine Sanctum space, which had caught his attention and so she would follow him on this expedition. His ship had been prepared with enough supplies and equipment to see them through to the end, and no doubt they would find more on the planet.

But still much is to discovered here from what little he could tell her about it, which .. for her .. is exciting.

[Thurion Heavenshield]

Thurion turned to [member="R2-T2"], his new astromech droid thanks to his bride-to-be. "Find some flat ground and take us down, Teetoo", he said as he relinquished control of the Oathkeeper and arose from the captain's chair. He held out his hand for Coci to hold onto and would then guide her to the main viewport to give her a better view of the area he'd chosen.

"Because of this..." he said, gesturing to the gorgeous scenery; everywhere they'd look there were lush, green forests stretching for miles in all directions, with grand mountain ranges framing it all in the distance. At the center of it there was a crystal clear lake, shining like a sapphire surrounded by emerald forest. Not another structure for miles upon miles.

"Down there is where we will grow old together", he then said, looking into Coci's eyes while putting his arms around her and pulling her close. His hands traced the ample curves of her figure, down to her hips then back up again, slowly.

As the ship got closer to ground and the view fell before her eyes, she gazed in wonder of the beauty of the place. A surreal vista of high mountains, sheer cliff faces, cathedral forests and lush vegetation only found on this planet within it's jungles. Everything a varying shade of green which framed the lake. Her mind taking by the landscape, her arm automatically raised to find his waist as they stood there looking out over the place they would live.

"Nina will love it here, as will I", she whispered. "I can sense the living force, it is strong here".

She turned her body to stand in front of the man she loves. Looking up into his face, she smile before grabbing his hand to go. Now she wanted to explore, to find that perfect place. No Jedi robes for either on them today, that will simply be impractical, but light clothing now adorned her body. A white singlet T-shirt, and loose white trousers tucked into her knee high boots, on her belt her only weapon, her light saber.

"Come on!", she pulled on his hand to encourage them to leave.

Her awe of the vista was palpable, as was her joy as she tugged at him to follow her out the cockpit and down the ramp. As soon as the ship touched ground the two were out the door, meeting the warm sun with excitement and delight on their faces and in their hearts. Coci's white outfit gleamed like silver in the light, only adding to her already perfect, celestial form. She was like an angel or a goddess, more beautiful than words could ever describe in hopes of doing her justice.

They set foot on a grassy flatland, not too far from the lake. On the opposite side there were vast mountains they couldn't even see the tops of, and on the remaining two sides there were thick forests with lush vegetation. "Well, where does my lady wish to start?" he asked the woman of his dreams holding his hand.

"It is so vast, I can hardly begin to think where", she whispered back. "But maybe we could go and take a look at the lake?", she turned to look into his face. She remained with her hand in his, as she extended it to make their way to the waters edge. It would a long walk, but they had all the time to explore and enjoy each others company once more.

In parts, thick vegetation obscured their way and a new path had to be found to continue onward. Droplets of water fell from the over hanging canopy, enough to damping their clothes, along with the mounting sweat that covered both their bodies. The humidity playing it part on them. The organic smells filled their senses, much fungi and decaying undergrowth served to feed the jungle. And it was alive, such insects and small animals scurried about afraid by these new creatures walking their home. The avian creatures high in the canopy voiced their songs to the air, such lyrical tones.

Coci looked back to the man she loves, dressed for the conditions .. so different to what she is used to seeing him attired in. She smiled as her eyes lingered over him.

The two lovers wandered hand-in-hand along the narrow paths leading to the lake. Through bushes and trees they made their way, moving at a sauntering pace and simply enjoying eachother's company. The weather was hot and humid, and so their clothes hugged their bodies ever more with each drop of water and bead of sweat. It came to a point where it proved difficult for him to keep his eyes on the path ahead rather than look upon her divine form, now accentuated by her tight outfit.

They came to what looked like a thick wall of vegetation, but after further inspection Thurion brushed aside the leaves and brances to make way for the gorgeous view that was the sapphire lake before them, glistening in the sun like a jewel. "There you are..." he proclaimed and looked to Coci, smiling as he did. He opened the passage wide enough for one person to pass through, letting her go first before following right behind. Wiping the beads of sweat from his brow, he regarded the location they now were in. It was... paradise.

As Thurion pulled back the curtain of hanging vines, the view that lay before her black eyes was not short of a fairy tale. She could not move for a moment as she doubted her eyes .. this could not exist surly?, but it did, they are here and standing high up looking down upon the beauty lake. In the distance she could just see the river that fed the lake, threading its way through the jungle like a silver shimmering beam of light, giving life to the lake.

Finally she stepped through and into the cooler air, this prickled her skin and made little bumps over it, this result a combination of the moment as well as the view. "Thurion this is perfection, such natural beauty beyond anything imaged".

She turned back to him, her face showing him the wonder of it as she looked over him, framed by the curtain. For her, he is just as beautiful. She raised her hand once more for him to take .. "Come see it", she gestured toward the opening view. "You .. you chose this place for us?".

He took her hand in his and stepped through, feeling the sun upon his skin once more and the soft breeze brought on by the lake. "Well, you know..." he said, rubbing the back of his neck. "I just thought it looked nice, is all." He'd never regarded himself a great aesthetician, but would rather just go with what he felt was the best view and surroundings. This was the best he could find, and now her amazed expression and words made him blush ever so slightly. He then put his arms around her, pulling her in close. "I just want the best for you and Nina", he said while brushing away her dark hair from her still sweaty skin, then leaned in to give her a kiss.

Once the kiss had ended it was he who would tug at her to follow, leading her down to the lake in a playful manner. Upon reaching the water's edge he kicked off his boots and socks, leaving him barefoot upon the grassland beach. His toes curled themselves in the grass, feeling every individual strand tickling against the soles of his feet.

She loves it when he does that, rubs the back of his neck almost with of a sense of embarrassment or awkwardness. In reality he has no reason at all to feel this way, he may consider this is lacking but it is not to her and he has proved this time and time again. He has a eye for beauty, most apparent with the choice of location for their home. She smiled as he did so loving him more for it .. if that was even possible.

The kiss lasted all to shortly, but she laughed as she pulled her along the pathway down to the lakes edge. Two people in paradise, this eden that stands around them in all its splendor, looking down on them as if witness to child at play. She followed his lead and kicked off her own boots, the soft grass moist to the touch of her hot feet and tickled her. But cooling to her blood.

She walked to the waters edge and allowed her feet to soak there in the shallow, it tingled the skin as it cleaned the heat of the day from them. However, this feeling only served to build a desire to enter the cool water and wash away the sweat. She looked back to Thurion standing on the grass .. his dark blue singlet shirt clinging to his broad chest, his arms exposed and glistening with the sun rays. His hair flecked with blonde highlights as the light danced over him And she took in the stance of him, tall lean and strong, his face handsome and held an air of nobility. What mysteries still remain within this man she pondered.

"Come wet your feet". she said beginning to kick the water about.

He watched her step into the water, cooling off her feet. About to join her, he began removing his shirt and pulled up to his chest before suddenly stopping. Already he could see the beginnings of the injuries he'd sustained during his imprisonment and torture session at the hands of the pirates back on Lorrd, and he hesitated to expose himself to the woman he loved while his body remained broken. While he'd made tremendous progress due to him skills in the healing arts, his outward appearance remained battered and scarred.

"I'm sorry, I..." He let go of his shirt and let it cover him up once more, before sitting down in grass. He felt disgusted with himself, and didn't want her to see him in the state he was in. She was so beautiful - perfection embodied - and shouldn't have to witness his, in his mind, ugly exterior.

The sparkle in her eyes vanished as she watched him. The physical scars of torture would eventually fade, but longer the mental scars. What she sensed from him now is that. His confidence rock to the core as he sat down on the grass.

She let out a long breath as she walked out of the water and sat beside her love. Her hand found the long grass and played with it for the moment as they sat in silence. Again she wished she could have got to him quicker, to stop further pain and suffering. But she failed him and that was something she would never forgive herself for.

The hand closest to him reached out and she entwined her fingers within his. Her head turning to look at his profile and she smiled. "I will do all I can to help you heal my love. I do not refer to the scar on your body, they only serve to remind me of who you are, what kind of man sits next to me now, one full of grace with a strength of body and character that none will ever match. Do not think for a moment they take anything away from you, you are just as beauty to me as you have ever been", she found her words lacking, she did not know how to reach him though words.

Her hand came to his shoulder, and rested there, her finger gently caressing his shoulder as she continued. "Please do not let them win". She whispered close to him now.

Then she stood up and moved in front of him, she extended her hand out to him once more for him to take. She would walk him into the cool waters of the lake until they are submerged to their chests. The water washed over her body, removing all the hard work of their trek. She hoped the cooling waters would sooth his mind and soul. A little bit.

His hand found hers, and now the two lovers wandered into the water together. Her kind words eased his suffering a bit, but it would take time for him to be fully restored. Fow now, however, all he wanted was to be with her. To join with her. They got deep enough to wet their knees, at which point he pulled his top over his head and tossed it onto dry land.

His upper body was covered in ugly scars and stitches. The cool water felt nice as it splashed up against them, alleviating some of the internal pain. His hands went to her hips, pulling her close to him into an embrace, and soon his lips found hers once more.

She parted her lips as his faced lowered to hers once more. Soft, moist warm lips that give her all the sense of his love ... both physically and through his soul. Her arms reached up and placed over his shoulder careful to avoid his wounds. For along time, the two lovers stood this way, their mouths merging offering unity.

Coci moved back, reluctantly ... however she reached down to her shirt and lifted it over her head throwing it back to the bank. She submerged her entire body under the water, and rose up once more with her hair matted to her head. Taking his hands once more .. she led him further into the water, and pressed her body to his.

He had made his intentions clear to her and she would not deny him ever. And so the two lovers .. expressed their want to heal one another through love making. In this place, in this paradise they became one, once more.

Later

Thurion collapsed beside his lover, naked and exhausted from the acts of love they'd shared in. His heart rate was racing and his breath was laboured, but he was happy and the lovemaking had made him forget about his broken body. Coci then came nuzzling up against him, careful not to cause him any pain, and their legs entwined.

Naked the two lay in the grass, bathing in the hot sun upon their bodies. "Well", he said, panting heavily. "I guess we've just claimed this land as our own, haven't we?" He looked into her eyes and managed a kiss upon her lips followed by a satisfied smile on his face.

As she cradled in against him, she smiled wide. "Yes we have, I believe this place is now ours .. not only in spirit", she laughed softly. She pulled her arms around him more, careful to avoid his wounds. Her eyes opened as she looked down his body again. The bruises had began to yellow .. a sign of mending. But the stitches still remained angry around the cuts.

"We must get you more medical aid when we return, there is more that can be done for them I am sure", it was now Coci realised her lack of medical skills. She had the basics but never truly trained in more deeper healing. She rolled on her back and looked up into the sky above them. Around them and the lake the green jungle framed them, a beauty hew of green that reflected off the water. As she looked around she rolled over on her front to see behind their heads, trying to find a spot to build a home for the three of them.

"I think the ground will be fertile here too, we can have a sustainable garden", she pointed .. "Maybe over there, by those trees?". Her thoughts change to something else as she spoke. If the two of them keep this up, three would soon become four. That idea scared her somewhat, but she would not voice it. There was much the two had to do before that.

When she rolled over onto her front, he watched her mind at work thinking of the possibilities of making this place their home. He traced the lines of her face; the cuteness of her nose, the softness of her lips, and the tenderness in her eyes. He brushed aside her hair to expose her ear, and he leaned in to blow a gentle breeze against it followed by a tender nibble.

He strained his neck to look at what she was looking at, wishing to avoid having to turn around onto his front for fear of his wounds. His hand found the back of her neck, and his fingers would play downwards along her spine to her tailbone and then up again, caressing her and feeling her muscles tense and then relax at his touch. Every moment spent with her made him certain of that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, as husband and wife. He did not want anyone doubting they were one, and that their names were synonymous with one another. It was not a matter of pride, but one of wish fulfillment.

"You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen or known", he told her, allowing his heart full reins of his words. "Not only are you the most stunning woman I have ever laid eyes on, but your soul..." he said, placing the palm of his hand against her back above her heart. "Your soul is the warmest and kindest I have ever experienced, far more comforting than even the sun now shining down on us. You have me - all of me. Until the sun rises in the West and sets in the East, and until the rivers run dry and the mountains blow in the wind like leaves."

She felt his hand run over her back. Only to come to a stop near her heart. His words were like precious gems falling from his mouth, each one made her feel his love for her. They fell around her and filling her soul. She turned her head to look at this face, her face showing him wonderment, she could not believe it was possible to love him more, but she did. Everything seemed to have vanish, even the beautiful surrounds they now called home, and all that remain was him.

Her black eyes filled with tears of joy, and she let them tumble down her cheeks. Coci had spent most of her life hiding, because of her work and to protect herself .. she had not truly let anyone know her, not really. But the man beside her had blown the walls and blockades around her heart and soul to oblivion.

A trembling hand reached up to his face and cupped it, her mouth opened to speak but she could not find words to reply. She looked upon him as if seeing him for the first time, taking in all his features and sensing him through the force and their bond. Such power within him that remains checked, a man full of grace and virtues akin to celestial beings that guard the gates of paradise and will hold the sword of justice against those that are set to destroy. A Shield to all walk the path along side him .. he is Heaven's Shield.

She smiled now marveling at him. Then she leaned up to kiss his lips, a soft kiss. "Life .. for me .. began the day we met. Only then did I begin to breath, my heart learned to beat for a purpose and my soul awoken. And with each passing day and with each night from that day forward, do I know love. I was yours the moment you looked at me, and will be until time ceases to exist".

He turned on his side, his entire body now facing her. Their legs entwined even more and he could feel her toes curling against his calves. He couldn't help but frown ever-so-slightly at the sight of her tears crawling down both her cheeks. He reached out to collect her tears, wiping them off her otherwise joyful face. His fingers then brushed gently against her body, tracing her curves up and down at a soothing pace.

Without a word spoken he pulled her towards him, connecting their naked bodies from top to toe. Their foreheads met, and he rubbed his nose against hers. He felt her chest press against his, and there was no pain from his wounds anymore; in this moment he was whole, together with her. Their lips met once more, sharing their passion for one another and feeling their individual breath against eachother's skin. He inhaled her scent, that sweet smell best described as a blend of strawberries and fresh hay on a damp spring morning.

"So", he whispered between their loving kisses. "Do we go with 'Thurion Sinopi' or 'Coci Heavenshield'", he asked her, smiling as he did while gazing into her dark eyes.

She grinned up at him as she spoke of names. Moving closer to her as their bodies pressed together, she could feel the warmth of the sun and him on her. Coci's hand placed on his waist, she ran it down to his hip, his skin firm and soft against her finger tips.

"Hmmm, I think we should keep our names, how about .. Thurion Heavenshield and Coci Sinopi-Heavenshield", she screwed up her face, "That sounds to long, how about Coci Heavenshield", she smiled, as she liked the look and sound of that. But she did not really mind as long as they are together, names are not so important.

That gentle scent of freshly fallen snow coupled with a hint of pine filled her senses, as a gentle breeze danced around their body, it is his smell and one that fills her with new found energy.

"Where .. when?, name to date!", she asked unable to keep her excitement in any longer.

She became like a school girl, eager at the prospect of getting married, eyes lighting up like a Life Day tree. He chuckled at her enthusiasm at first, but then he actually got to thinking. When would it take place, and where? Who would they invite, or would they marry in private? He found that he truly had no idea of how to plan a wedding, and suspected that maybe neither did she.

"I... have no idea", he confessed while rubbing the back of his neck, looking awkward. "All I know is that I do not wish to rush it. Last I checked there was no time limit on engagements." His eyes glanced at the lake ahead. "Well, maybe..." he said, looking back into her eyes. "...this is the place to host it, right here?" It really didn't matter at this point, as they'd hardly even had the time to enjoy eachother's company fully since the foul buisness with the Taung hammers. Part of him still worried for her.
