Trying something new

Location: Kashyyyk, SJO Campus
Time: Late Morning

Ellidar sat on a bench, admiring the fresh, beautiful day it was so far. Looking around he sighed a sigh of relief. He took out small book and started to read it, quietly expecting nobody.

"What a morning, I think this would be the perfect day to.."

Ellidar had been dreaming of being a pilot from the day he was born. It had inspired him, seeing the many kinds of star fighters. His particular favorite was the classical X-WING, its four half horizontal arms just made him roar with excitement. He wish one day he might fly, for maybe that wish would come true...

Nef had taken some time off Chandrila to visit the new Silver Jedi campus on Kashyyyk. At her side was her son, Articus.
"Mommy, can I fly on the way home?" The youngling asked
"When you can actually reach the controls, I will teach you."
Nef had become a decent pilot at a young age. She'd been in the cockpit of many different models, though oddly enough not the famous X-wing.
Articus noticed [member="Ellidar Pertho"] and jumped up on the bench next to him.
"Hi!" he said to the man with a book

Ellidar felt two presences coming his way. Not threatening, but just enough to get his attention. Then all of a sudden, a child was sitting on the bench with him. He looked up to see a child, who he smiled at and returned the hi. But then, he noticed the lady. She looked the part, She felt like it..

"Wait, are you here to train me with piloting, or I might be looking for someone else." The kid was awfully playful, and he didn't expect anything out of the lady standing in front of him, unless she was the person..

"Wait, are you here to train me with piloting, or I might be looking for someone else."
Nef hadn't taught somebody to fly before, but she thought she could pull it off.
"Sure. I can do that!"
Nef looked down at her son
"I hope he isn't bothering you too much. I'm Nefertari. a pleasure to meet you."

"Ellidar, nice to meet you too." He put the book down and laid it in his lap.

Ellidar was getting more excited by the second. He was actually going to learn how to fly. It was already a great opportunity at most, but to learn how to fly would be great.

"Alright, when do we start?" He said smiling, looking at the child sitting next to him.

(Thought I replied to this. Sorry!)

Nef could sense the young man's excitement. Hopefully, that would serve him well.

"Whenever you are ready to begin, we can start on a simulator. After you train up a bit, we can move to the real thing."
Even if it was flying, Nef was glad to be teaching somebody again.

(That's alright, your fine!)

Ellidar nearly jumped off the bench, but he slid off slowly so he wouldn't hurt himself. "Alrighty, lead the way." Before they walked off to the flying simulator, Ellidar had unhooked his lightsaber and held it, staring at it. He knew doing something as well as this would make his father his proud. He looked up his now profound teacher. "Are you ready?"
