Trying to remember something

Back either last July 2014, or January 2014, I don't remember which, there was a thread by a woman who explained that she was going through a lot of medicial troubles and wouldn't be able to be around all that much over the next few months. In response, a lot of people made contributions, and I thought it was the sweetest thing I had seen =) I am just wondering if everything went okay with the surgery she needed. I couldn't remember the name on her account for the life of me, but I'm hoping everything is alright ^-^ If she isn't here right now but someone still keeps in contact with her, I'd appreciate it if they could tell her that I hope she is doing well =)

That would be me. Everything did go well. Health improved now that we have figured a lot of things out about what was going on.

This is actually very sweet and endearing. Even this bitter, black heart feels moved by the fact that two strangers can show concern. It gives me a bit of hope.

Honestly, if not for the contributions and donations to help me finding the cause for what was going on as well as getting treatment, I very well might not be alive to tell the tale. I'm eternally grateful for all those who could donate, as well as the the very kind words that were spoken and all the support I received board wide. If not for Tef posting it, and allowing me to advertise the fundraiser here, I do not know what I would have done, or what would have happened to me. I will always be so grateful for those simple actions that went so far. To Tef, and everyone who participated.

It's truly amazing what the kindness and generosity of complete strangers can do. It made a huge difference in my life, and now I'm in a much better position overall than I was a year ago.

Hey, I understand. Not everyone could. What helped as much as the physical contributions, were those who gave me their time. Those who spent late nights talking to me on skype, through pms, or who just left incredibly kind words in that thread. Those that rped with me, and kept me distracted at arguably the worst time of my life, were life savers. They may not think that, or believe that but I sure as hell do. That stuff got me through. Everyone here that did any of that stuff, got me through. People that I will always be grateful for, and have forever made a mark on my life.

I was in a position where I couldn't either, but I said what I could to you =) And It has helped, I imagine, just like everyone else. Heck, I remember it months later and this is where we are now ^-^ Still alive and kicking, and that's what matters.
