Intent: to flesh out the leadership of Tsubasano Senshi.
Strengths:
++Skilled warriors: the Tsubasano Senshi are skilled warriors with the blade, the spear, and with the bow and arrow. Their weapons are archaic but several hundred generations have been spent honing the skills down with these weapons, turning it into a religion and an art.
++Loyal: Wherever Katsumoto goes, they will go, the see him as the descendant of a god and all but worship him.
++Strategic: One does not spend hundreds of generations fighting against superior numbers without mastering the tactics of land battle. These beings have, and will use often unconventional means to win.
++Hair-trigger: living for many generations in the wild, with enemies on every side, the Tsubasano Senshi are always ready to fight and defend their own.
Weaknesses:
--Archaic: No blasters. No speeders. No spaces ships. No computers. Nothing if this nature. For over 1,000 years these people have had any of these things. They are mystified by such things and have no hope what soever of ever being able to operate or use them.
--Never withstood an insult: a culture built on honor, even the slightest insult is a grave offence. They have been known to start wars over such things as a faulty mannerism, diluting their resoruces and needlessly killing their own.
--suspicious: They do not welcome strangers quickly into their ranks. Honor and loyalty for these warriors is a slow gain to even begrudging acceptance.
Early in the days of Soceras, when Dal'Bor was still a pair of colonies Dal and Bor living out of prefab houses, the people needed protection. The space around them was filled with pirates, dark lords, evil people looking to push them around. So they scrimped and saved and hired a ship of Astrean mercenaries. Their ship, the Dragon's Tear unfortunately fell prey to Verga's strange gravity patterns and fell into the southern hemisphere. In this wilderness, the mercenaries began to survive at all costs. They made themselves and their children into great warriors, self reliant suspicious, and strong. Over the generations this ship of mercenaries became warriors using weapons they could readily re-create. Their blasters ran out of ammo, they reverted to vibrokatanas, spears, and bows.
Their culture evolved into an honor-bound, close-knit community of warriors with few equals. Against the hoards of savages of the southern hemisphere of Soceras, they fought and honed their skills and tactics. One fateful day their town was overrun by savages. Their leader, Katsumoto went out to recover their captured women and children. On the way he met James Justice, who helped him retreive his people. Katsumoto was indebted to James Justice, who in turn gave the Tsubasano Senshi a chance to live in a collony outside of Dal'bor. Here the Tsubasano Senshi remain at James' beck and call, as an honor-bound private army.
