Born on Saleucami in a couple decades before the end of the Clone Wars, Clarron Vall enlisted in the Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper Corps upon coming of age. This decision was spurred, in large part, by the destruction of his farming community by a lightsaber-wielding stranger while he was still a child. He believed, for most of his life, that this stranger had been a Jedi, associating the use of the weapon with that order. Taken in by the family of a low-ranking Republic navy officer, he was brought up to carry on his adoptive family's trade. Becoming a stormtrooper proper not long after the Republic became the Galactic Empire, his stated dislike of the Jedi Order coupled with an exemplary service record caught the ear of the IDMR.
A TERROR AWAKENS...
After a disastrous skirmish in with Black Sun enforcers on Ord Mantell during a customs inspection, he was gravely injured and maimed beyond recognition by an explosive device. What was left was recovered, and salvaged into the body of one of the first Terror Troopers. The Department took some of Vall's "alterations" a little further, reasoning they couldn't ruin him more than the bomb already had, including a test of a very early version of the Droch Serum, granting extremely slowed aging.
Happy to have been saved, Vall nonetheless harbored a deep-seated loathing for his monstrous new form, even if he came to appreciate its upsides. That all changed when the Terror unit was deployed under the command of a bounty hunter to capture or destroy a certain escaped Imperial experiment. For all their remarkable skills and abilities, Vall's unit was nearly wiped out at the hands of a terrifyingly powerful Force-sensitive. Some of the remainder, including Vall, were frozen and kept for future sensitive missions. Unfortunately, those missions never arrived.
A vessel carrying a contingent of the frozen troopers was crippled and abandoned during an attack by members of the fledgling Rebel Alliance, and the remainder of the lifeless hulk sat in space for nearly a thousand years. The galaxy moved on, with the Terror Unit being largely forgotten after the Empire fell. Until the drifting, airless wreckage was discovered by scavengers. Finding nothing of use aboard but the frozen Vall, he was taken, unfrozen, and then promptly abandoned when he could not compensate his captors. Now, a relic of a former age, and recently free to do as he wishes, he tries to make his way in an unfamiliar galaxy, changed beyond recognition.
Since his re-awakening, he has become gradually possessed by an idea: to find the one worthy of becoming the new Emperor, and fulfill the oath he swore to the old Empire.
