Tumble through Time, Past Becomes Present

[Commander Firestorm]

On board the Venator-Class Star Destroyer, Unbroken, Commander Alex Firestorm stood on the Navigation Bridge,looking out the observation windows and watching as the ship moved through Hyperspace, he sensed something unusual in the Force but filed it away in his mind for the moment.

Kurenai milled about the bridge of the Venator class ship with interest, it seemed off that such and old class of ship was pressed back into service, but at the same time made a whole lot of sense. The Imperial Star Destroyers where mainly capital ship fighters, proving to be easy targets for heavy bombers, something learned very easily during the Galactic Civil War, the old Venators with the much larger fighter compliment could protect against this and its versatility made it able to deploy in any space battle with no real disadvantages. With some upgrades to the shields and shape slightly and such a craft was more then ready to be used once again in the new world of war.


Why was she on such a vessel, diplomatic reasoning, with the CIS allied with the SJO it only stood to reason that the GA would be their next partner, and not time like the present to send one of their top operative to tag along to streetlight ties, but deep down Kurenai had an odd feeling, liking something bad was going to happen, 'the force is acting odd today, what is up'?

Alex looked at Kurenai, "Feels like some sort of anomaly," at that moment, the ship violently shuddered as the scene of hyperspace turned red and white. "And I'm betting this is it," he yelled as he grabbed onto a console in front of the windows. The scene soon cleared and the ship came to a halt having been forced out of hyperspace, surprisingly the ship was undamaged, just shook up. Alex looked out the wi sow and saw a seen that surprised him, it was Coruscant, which wasn't even remotely near the ship's hyperspace route, but the strangest thing was a scene he hadn't seen in ages, the planet was surrounded by orbiting Venators, all with Republic markings on them.

"This can't be right, Coruscant hasn't had a fleet of Venators over it since the Clone Wars and Early Imperial Era."

Kurenai activated her mag boots as the ship intense turbulence started, where they being pulled out of hyper space due to the anomaly, had they gotten to close to a black hole? Not that did not seems right, in fact it seemed that they where going even faster. Before suddenly everything came to a stand still, real space coming back into view, and Coruscant of all places? But that was not surprised her the most, what stood before her was most likely the largest fleet she has seen in centuries, but all of them seemed to be all Venators, Aclamators here and their as well as a few Corvettes mixed in, but why, where how. "Perhaps its in response to the First Order and Imperial attacks, no such ships in such large numbers, something does not feel right about this".

"That can't be right, that formation...that's the exact formation of the Clone Wars Coruscant Defense Fleet, all details on that formation were lost after the rise of the Empire, and that's the Republic insignia on those ships. Either someone is using a fleet of Vintage Star Destroyers and other Republic craft and somehow knows the exact positioning of a long lost defense fleet formation, or we've just been launched back in time to the Clone Wars, which, as much as I hate to admit it, is a possibility considering that anomaly we were just caught in."

He ran over to the main console, "That settles it." he is looking at the year chronometer, which was labeled as a year long since passed: 22 BBY, "We're in the beginning year of the Clone Wars."

Kurenai kept a stoic expression as [member="Commander Firestorm"] expression as explained about the formation, from what she knew the guy was from the clone wars and had come to the future someone, but that was not all, "I have heard other stories about hyperspace anomaly of malfunction that have sent people into the future, a certain bounty hunter being one of them, maybe it stands to reason the opposite could happen".

She followed over to the control panel, interstellar relays setting the time to 22BBY, "Over 800 years in the past... the clone wars went for 4 Galactic years if I remembers, (I was 12 when the war ended, that would mean I am 8 at the moment)". She looked out the window again, the fleet ever closing in on them, the problem was, now what? "I've never really been trained for this situation, what do we do now, no doubt the fleet will hail us any moment, and if there are any Jedi on borad those ships they may sense us".

"I am not sure how they will react to you if they do, considering your force signature is darker than that of a standard Jedi, I will vouch for you where I can, so as to not get you locked up or interregated as a possible sith, Jedi during this era were very...skittish, when it came to the Dark Side users." He then pulled up a diagnostic on the hyperdrive and related systems, "No signs of hyperdrive damage or in anything related to it, and that anomaly had the Force written all over it, I sensed a strong Force presence within it during all that turbulence."

"I appreciate the help in that, I can mask my precance but I know that more powerful Jedi masters will sense it anyways, but I am wondering about you, in this time line are you not just and ARC trooper, it would be strange to suddenly find you in charge of your own ship, and force sensitive". She walked back to the control panel at the crew inspected the hyper drive, they where lucky what ever happened did not fry anything valuable.

"Yes I did too, that force signature was more powerful then anything I had felt before, it did not seem like is was a person, maybe some ethereal being or... maybe the force itself", it seemed to be the only explanation and considering, well from her perspective, that the force was a living being that controlled the galaxy from afar.What ever was the case any further discussion came to a halt as a crew member sung out, "[member="Commander Firestorm"], were being hailed by the unknown forces head Venator, your orders"?

"Actually, I've always been force sensitive, it was discovered by a Jedi I was serving during the First Battle of Geonosis, now the ship part, maybe, but we'll get to that when it arises." (P.S. the crew is a bunch of reprogrammed droids, mostly B-X Series Training Droids, the same ones they use in clone training)

He looked at the crew member, "Patch the transmission through to the main console."

Kurenai gave him an odd look, how did that work, well what ever the case it made things a little easier, but hopefully they did not run into his counter part, unless he was already in cryo-sleep, herself, she was just a kid right now, nothing much to do, though maybe pay a visit if she had time. "Yes, a ship full of droids no less, they may thing we knocked over a small droid factory, that is if they do not simply shoot us down".

She slowly paced over to the holo display as [member="Commander Firestorm"] decided to patch through the call, and out of all the people on the end, it had to be force dam Obi-one Kenobi... she was not sure if that was good or bad. She knew the man was a good talker liked to reason, but at the same time was really perceptive, and a wit at that. "This is General Obi-One Kenobi of the Galactic Republic and Jedi master, I must inquire about your ships identity as well as your own, so I must ask you to stop right where you are".

"Well... fuck"

"This is Jedi Master and Commander Alex Firestorm of the Unbroken, we were hit by an unknown anomaly that tossed us out of Hyperspace." A commando droid dressed in Phase 1 Clone Armor, to keep itself concealed as well as remain time accurate, Alex looked to it, "Ah, BX-105C M you've arrived, you will be our escort if they ask to board." He then clicked a button on the ship's console that set up a hologram with a tracking camera that would cover the other droids on the bridge, making them appear as clone officers and guards.
