"Ordinary morality is for ordinary people." - Aleister Crowley
Name: Tursi Opstruncatus
Allegiance (allegedly): The Sith Empire
Species: Duor
Sex: Male
Sensitive: Yes

Physical Description:
Similar to other water-dwelling mammals found across the galaxy, Tursi has a long, grey snout and black, beady eyes; his skin is grey and slippery. To compensate for being a water-dwelling creature, he frequently augments his body with cybernetic equipment of one sort or another; when not speaking in his native tongue he relies on the shrill, electronic voice of a vocabulator. In spite of the machine's limits, some of the creature's affect bleeds through: grandiose, over-wrought, squeaky and histrionic.

Traits:
- Trained in the Duor arts that shaped life on their planet and gave rise to their elegant underwater cities, Tursi is proficient in genetic and biologic science, basic cybersurgery, engineering, and (though his schooling was not in combat) the subtle arts of the Force.
- Tursi's physical form is adapted to aquatic environments - this is as much a help on water-covered worlds as it is a hindrance on desert planets and navigating the infuriatingly limited and empty dry-land civilizations.
- Tursi is a megalomaniac who knows no law. He considers himself to be, for lack of a better word, unfettered. Most people find this to be either insufferable or charmingly easy to manipulate to their ends.

Biography:
Born to a race of Force-using aquatics in the city of Kearleonis, Tursi considers his upbringing troubled. His parents kept insisting that other people had the right to deprive him of their possessions when they needed to render them up for a higher purpose, that weapons-grade blasters were not to be experimented with, that "Doom Droids" would not look good in an engineering project portfolio. Naturally, they were among the first to fall prey to the Doom Droids.

Although he established a lovely hideout, having built an elegant metal framework that intertwined his lair with endangered coral species (it is possible to both take biodiversity hostage and be a conservationist with aesthetic sensibilities), he underestimated his ability to resist the Force's power - they used mental influence from afar to beckon him to a place of vulnerability.

He was successful in convincing the condescending doctors and judges of the Arrakan justice system that he could not be made to bow to the norms of a narrow-minded society. He was unsuccessful in convincing them that the proper response to his, as some fools put it, "abject refusal of rehabilitation and productive membership in society," as well as his cunning eye for taking advantage of opportunities ("sociopathic tendencies") was not capital punishment.

However, a few weeks before his scheduled execution and during his plotting of what would be his third escape attempt, the bombs fell. With a planet in flux, Tursi struck out of a broken section of prison to take advantage of the new order...
