One day, Kalanda Tishire decided that she wanted to create a pet, but not just any pet. Being left at home often, gave her the desire to own a pet of her own, but so many Sith had nasty mean pets, nothing that worked for her. So, she made her own. Taking her two favorite animals, she set herself into her lab, and crafted this master piece; the Turtle-Duck. She hopes to spread her creation into the heart of the Empire, letting Sith like herself enjoy the nice things in life.
- Intent: Kalanda needs a cute pet, as do many other Sith. The Turtle-Duck is the first in the line of many cute animals that will be sold domestically for Sith who want to embrace their softer side.

- Average Lifespan: Turtle-Ducks are speculated as being able to live for roughly five to twenty years at current, though it’s creator is hoping to extend the life cycle by the third batch.
- Estimated Population: Semi-Unique (An extremely small number, first or last of their kind.)
- Description: At first glance, one might realize the shell of the turtle duck. It has a duck like head, and webbed feet it used to maneuver around int the water or on land. Equipped with a beak, and shell, Turtle-Ducks might cause one to erupt in a series of squeals and gasps at their cute nature; this is perfectly natural, and they are working as intended.

CULTURE
- Diet: [ Herbivore] The Turtle-Duck is an adorable creature of nature. Like most Ducks or Turtles, it exists off a diet of plant matter, but they will descend into madness if given bread. It’s not known why, but the creator of the ducks believes that yeast in bread triggers a flight or fight response within the creature. This problem is currently being looked into, please avoid feeding them bread.
- Communication: Using a series of quacks and head motions, Turtle-Ducks communicate their needs to their owners or others in their family unit.

- General behavior: Unlike ducks, Turtle-Ducks are breed in a lab, however, they are bred in pods of twelve. As the first batch are developed, another batch is put into production, and using native ducks from Drommund Kaas, the first batch are indoctrinated into believing they are normal ducks. Once they reach adulthood, they are then spread into the rest of the batches, acting as surrogate parents to their kin, reinforcing the genetic programing within them.
