[SIZE=9pt]Description:[/SIZE][SIZE=9pt] [/SIZE][SIZE=9pt]Twin Suns squadron was an elite starfighter squadron that was originally formed during the occupation by the New Republic of the planet of Borelias. It was created by Grandmaster Luke Skywalker and commanded by his niece, Jaina Solo. The squadron saw many successful campaigns during the Yuuzhan Vong war to include Borelias, Galantos and Bakura. Originally it consisted of T-65XJ X-Wing Starfighters but as time passed, it began to become a mixture of Starfighters that accommodated the pilot’s skillset. The squadron was decommissioned shortly after the Yuuzhan Vong war – only seeing a select sortie here or there under the particular Twin Sun label. When the Second Imperial Civil War struck, it was recommissioned with the X-83 Twintail Starfighter being its primary fighter. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=9pt]Fast forward a few centuries to the Netherworld crisis. The Twin Suns squadron saw action over Coruscant under the command of deceased Sword of the Jedi, Aaralyn Rekali. They weren’t officially recommissioned until 844 A.B.Y under the Underground banner by Commander Mira Rekali. Mira had vowed that Twin Suns would support any and all resistance movements across the Galaxy. She took Twin Suns into action over Chazwa during the coup led by the former Prime Minister of the Galactic Republic. Currently the fighter squadron consists XJ-7 Stealth-X Starfighters, with XJ-9 Advanced X-Wing Starfighters as the backup fighters. The Starfury is the flight lead for all sorties. [/SIZE]
