- Force Speed - Cameron fights best when fighting fast. The Twin Trajectories make that easier for her, making her harnessing of Force Speed more efficient and less draining overall, allowing her to move fast, for longer.
- Sith Runes - Sith Runes provide the Twin Trajectories a degree of protection against Force Light. The blades are capable of blocking Force Light, for a time.
- Crystal Attunement - The Twin Trajectories are uniquely attuned to Cameron Crownwraithe, unconsciously aiding her in recovering them, should they be lost.
- Staring at the Sun - Owing to Sith Runes drawn into the blades, the Twin Trajectories are capable of blocking Force Light, for a time. Sustained and/or focused exposure will likely lead to the destruction of the blade(s), as the searing Force energy will eventually burn through the runes hexed into their blades’ construction.
- Redundancy in Design - The Twin Trajectories are designed with a number of redundancies, allowing them to retain functionality and lethality even in the event that one or more of its features are disabled. In events of EMP/Ionic interference, which could feasibly disable the hypersonic vibration generator, the blades can still rely on its Force imbuements to maintain enhanced cutting power. Likewise, in conditions of Force-neutrality or dampening, the hypersonic vibration generator and Svolten Rhyolite allows the blades to maintain their cutting power, strength, and durability.
- Clouds of Deceit - The Taozin skin integrated into the construction of the Twin Trajectories has the capability to blur or cloud the senses of a Force wielder to varying degrees, potentially hindering the effectiveness of battle precognition, danger sense, and/or similar abilities when focused on wielder and the blades themselves.
- Slashing Blades - The Twin Trajectories have cutting capability comparable to that of a lightsaber, capable of slashing through most materials with relative ease, including stone, most heavy alloys, and molecularly compressed organic carapace, and flesh.
- Force Neutrality - While designed with a number of redundancies which allow the blades to retain much of their strength and cutting capabilities under conditions of Force-neutrality or dampening, by themselves, the blades’ Force enhancements and imbuements may be either lost entirely or weakened within Force-neutral fields or when exposed to Force dampening effects.
- Turned Away - Unfortunately, there are natural limits to the cutting capabilities of the Twin Trajectories. In general, lightsaber-resistant materials will also be resistant to the blades, unless they possess a noted weakness or vulnerability to conventional bladed weaponry or kinetic damage.
- Single Edge - The Twin Trajectories only have a single edge, mainly geared for slashing or chopping, though the pointed tip allows them to be thrusted to good effect, as well. In comparison to lightsabers, which are capable of cutting with all parts of the blade, this could put the Twin Trajectories at a disadvantage.
- No Reflection - The blades are capable of blocking blaster bolts, though not reflecting them, making the blades somewhat inferior to traditional lightsabers as a defensive weapon.
Speedster extraordinaire, daughter of the Black Knight, and exiled Sithspawn Cameron Crownwraithe has lived a life of violence and war, dutifully following her mother in her crusades against the Imperials, the Maw, the Jedi, and last but certainly not least, the Bryn'adûl. In doing so, Cameron has learned much, but also realized that there is far more that she doesn’t know. Nevertheless, in her quest to become the fastest person in the galaxy, Cameron has worked with unflinching determination in hot pursuit of that goal. From wearing red, running daily Force Speed sprints, intense physical and martial training, meditation, and yet more, Cameron is not one to leave even a split-second worth of speed off the table.
Overcoming her relative ineptitude with mechanics and engineering, after finding a pair of kyber crystals on an uncharted Cameron worked to build her own swords, with the assistance of her mother. The weapons are augmented and imbued with the Force, lending them preternatural durability and enhanced cutting capability. However, most notably, they improve the efficiency of Cameron’s Force Speed, allowing her to move fast for far longer and with less exertion. Owing to assistance of a specialized weaponsmith by her mother, the blades are designed with a high degree of redundancy, allowing them to remain effective even in conditions of ionic interference or Force-neutrality, albeit with hampered performance to varying degrees.
Christening the weapons as the Twin Trajectories, Cameron hopes that they will serve her well in her quest for speed, family, and perfection.
