Two Padawans needed...apply within

OK, I have been asked to find two willing volunteers to participate in a thread to discover this.

It's an artefact of limited to zero value - but two Sith Acolytes are looking to retrieve it and it made sense for their quest to be opposed.

The thread will be set after the six years and just before the Ossus Dominion. So no Force powers (unless you're prepared to face a consequence - and that includes the use of sabers - unless it's just to cut a poor defenceless beast's stomach open).

The Sith in question: Syss Rembala and Melori Raaf. Their search will start on Coruscant where they will presume that the lost item must be found on Ossus.

Any takers?

I'd be up for this. Either as Nyx or Svarin. Both could use the experience. In addition they're both combat trained (Nyx far more than Rin), and could provide some resistance, even without the use of the force.
Not that our Zorren friend can do much besides light cigarettes, as it is :p

A rarity for me - but first come first served.

The thread is here. And just remember that IC nobody except for three people knows Corvus has a younger sister - and you're not any of those three. And only one of those three has met her!

So [member="Uri Aureleos"] and [member="Drapeam Nyx"] feel free to be as active or inactive on Ossus before the two reprobates arrive. :)

As a rule, it's fair game to allow the ones who start the quest to get it in the end - unless they make a hash of it.

Sometimes it's a genuinely open chase and both sides can go for it - we're planning on doing one with the OS for the Wookiee shipping codes that will be like that.

But here, they could have simply chosen a neutral planet, wandered in and took it. This just makes it more fun. So if you ever want to 'find' something, check it's not taken and then either post an open thread - letting people know what you're doing/post in the canon items thread to say you're going for it/arrange for opposition if you want it.

You always have to take into account time as well. If you want something to still be working, you need to have a good reason why it would be after a thousand years for example. And you need to invest the time. I'm doing one for a saber crystal and it's at 100 posts and doesn't look like ending any time soon. The rarer and more powerful the item, the longer the thread is supposed to be.

The item in question here has virtually zero use, it's just a souvenir really.

It's a good thing that Nyx doesn't know about the sisters. She'd probably be making ten times as many chite-puns (as she'd put it). I mean, she's already made one, she just didn't realize it was a pun (I only half realized it at first myself).

Oh, and sorry about the late response. I managed to fall asleep (you posted this at what was 12:58 AM for me. I was supposed to be sleeping. Got Timezoned again, darn it...) and didn't wake up for a few hours. When I did I had a bit of a headache and Papa needed help with chores, so, you know, excuses.

Ahem. Looking forward to this!
