Two questions about Sithspawn

The Cyborg

Inactive Character
I know I should probably already know the awnser to these questions, but I don't, and someone probably does. So.

1.) Is it possible for a species created compeltely with Alchemy to, within the wild, eventually become a more natural version of itself, and then in turn, eventually evolve into a non-alchemical sentient species? (The way apes evolved into man)

2.) Assuming that if the above awnser is yes, and I do make the species that were originally created with sithspawn, I nkow i'll need a dev thread. As it woudl be a species that was made long ago, how is it possible to do a dev thread for a generitclaly engineered / sithspawn species, that you did not icly create?

Thanks in advance for responses.

Sithspawn are tricky, it honestly depends on how and for what function they were created. If they were made to breed like Palpatine's rancors and pass on the mutations genetically then eventually it could be possible... but evolution takes a long time and there are always factors to it. I would say it is possible that sithspawn designed to breed, to reproduce could have their descendents evolve into something. [member="Rave Merrill"] did that with the tuk'ata if I am remembering the sub there is now a sub species of them that have grown more sentient with opposable thumbs.

Sithspawn is more or less (not exactly) just Genetic Engineering + Dark Side + The Force. Theoretically, anything's possible regarding that. The only thing is that I would imagine the Dark Side would continue to influence their evolution or growth, and thus keep them from becoming natural in the sense of a creature naturally adapted to its environment. It probably wouldn't be the prettiest thing either... unless the original Sithspawn was created to be aesthetically pleasing, for some reason. (Note to Self: Create Succubus-like Sithspawn Demon species). They're also more likely than not to be aligned to the Dark Side right off the bat because of that alone, which is also not uncommon. The corruption would go a long way and I'm not entirely certain the natural order would change that - as the creature or species would, in and of itself, be unnatural and perpetually bound to the conventions of its creation.

Thanks for the awnsers guys.

I was going to use evolving from a sithspawn creation as an excuse for a sentient species that would'nt techincally be able to exsist biologically. But, the idea won't work anyway, so... Screw it. This is star wars. We have giant bugs that eat giant space slugs.

... I was going to make this, evolve into this.It was a horrible idea, and I was trying to use alchemy to make an excuse for mammal and bird aspects being combined. But still... horrible idea. XD
