STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Tyiia is a pragmatic and brutal fighter, able to use acrobatics and agility to defeat stronger and burlier opponents. She prefers hand-to-hand combat, but is equally lethal with her dual pistols and her modified NT-242 sniper rifle. Her preferred weapons, however, are a set of magnetically-controlled blades that she can manipulate with her brainwaves through an implant in her head. She has an increased healing rate, meaning that she could recover from a broken arm in mere days as opposed to weeks.
Although physically Tyiia is a force to be reckoned with, her social and interpersonal skills are atrocious. She's brutally honest, even when the situation doesn't warrant it, casually threatens others, and is socially naive. Because Tyiia was born four standard years ago despite her biological age of twenty-five, she can be immature and doesn't always know how to properly channel her emotions. She is prone to violent, destructive tantrums and episodes. She suffers from a severe strain of bipolar disorder, theorized to be the result of her upbringing and/or a chemical error in her brain.
She can also be taken out with any electrical device that touches her implants, disrupting their interfacing, or when exposed to an EMP. This won't kill her, but it will knock her out and incapacitate her for a while, even after regaining consciousness.
APPEARANCE:
Tyiia stands at an unremarkable 1.7 meters in height, and has a muscular, toned figure. She has blue skin like the rest of her race, and a darker shade of blue hair. She wears her hair down, shoulder-length, sleek and straight. Her eyes are blood-red, and intensify in the presence of oxygen. Her lips are curled in a perpetual scowl. She prefers to wear a form-fitting black catsuit, a mask over her nose and mouth, gauntlets, and combat boots. She also owns a set of black armor that covers her whole body, with a matching helmet that allows her to survive in the vacuum.
BIOGRAPHY:
Tyiia was born on Coruscant, her body constructed and engineered by a Chiss scientist named Lyzandru'wazlan'rahni, one of the best-known geneticists of his generation. She was initially created with the intention of being sold to the Sith as a living weapon of peak physical condition. Although Tyiia achieved this peak, the attempts to biologically engineer her into a Force-sensitive failed. Wazlan decided instead to implant cybernetics into her brain, allowing her a sort of brain wave-based technopathy. Her eye implants allowed her to perceive backscatter when she closed her eyes. She also had her phalanges covered in steel, meaning that even a punch could shatter an opponent's jaw.
Wazlan cut off his deal with the Sith upon discovering his failure, and decided to help a newly-born Tyiia out of guilt and horror at the implications of his work. Tyiia had the body and mind of a 25-year-old, but absolutely zero life experience. She was confused and terrified, not familiar with the galaxy she'd woken up to. Wazlan informed Tyiia that her name was actually Amerra, but Tyiia refused to change the nickname she'd mistakenly given herself. Wazlan became something of a father figure to Tyiia, explaining the workings of the galaxy and teaching her to control her volatile emotions.
One day Tyiia was contacted by a bounty hunter faction that had heard of Wazlan's work. They told her that if she killed Wazlan, she would be welcomed into their arms as a hero, and that he was an evil man who'd been brainwashing her all along. Naively, Tyiia believed this and crushed her creator's throat in a fit of rage. Immediately after Tyiia had a mental breakdown, unsure of how to channel her emotions. She was found by this faction, who revealed themselves to be an obscure group called the Trinity. They knew of Tyiia's bioengineering and the useful, if limited ways her cyber implants could be utilized. So she spent the next year being trained in hand to hand combat, and the use of various weapons. She even learned how to fight Jedi with a baton capable of deflecting lightsaber strikes. Tyiia made a name for herself, consistently carrying out seemingly impossible captures and assassinations. She turned on the Trinity and became an independent bounty hunter, killer-for-hire, and mercenary.
SHIP:
Delta-7B Aethersprite-class light interceptor, heavily modified and fused with a cargo bay.
Although this was a Clone Wars-era starfighter used primarily by Jedi, this was the first ship that Tyiia was successful in hijacking, and thus it holds a special place in her heart. She fused a cargo bay to it, so that she could transport prisoners and contraband.
