Designed after the ME-23 Cannon, the experimental TC-01 Plasma Cannon was designed to be a long range enemy disable that effects enemy ships and their ability to fight. Specifically designed Damage ships shields and give them an opening for both fighters and larger projectiles to cause more damage. This weapon is not designed to cause overwhelming damage, just allowing the opening for other ships to cause more damage.
